Infotainment is malfunctioning and it is available for inspection. The screen clicks on its own, and leads to GPS errors, makes incorrect phone calls and does not respond to my inputs. It has not been reproduced by the dealer, but I have videos and have shown the dealer. It has not been inspected by others. There were no messages or warning lamps.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The touchscreen/head unit on my 2022 Honda Accord Sport SE (VIN: [XXX] ) consistently exhibits ghost touch behavior — the screen makes random phantom inputs while I am driving, without any physical contact. This causes the navigation to be rerouted or cancelled mid-drive, audio to change sources and volume unexpectedly, menus to open randomly, and CarPlay to become completely non-functional. This occurs every time I drive the vehicle and constitutes a significant safety distraction. I rely on GPS navigation for every drive. Honda has acknowledged this is a known issue affecting 2021–2022 Accord models but has stated no fix is currently available. The dealer has confirmed the issue and been unable to resolve it. I have opened a case with American Honda Consumer Support (Case #XXX) requesting a loaner vehicle and vehicle exchange. No recall has been issued despite this being a widespread, documented safety defect with multiple NHTSA complaints filed by other owners. WHEELS
1. Loss of left rear wheel while driving. The vehicle is with the insurance and may be available for inspection. 2. Loss of control on a tollway with speed limit 75 mph as the wheel came off while driving, involving the vehicle collapsing on the rear left side and air bags on the left side being deployed. It could have lead to a fatal incident involving many vehicles. 3. Not yet. 4. It was inspected by the police and has currently been released from the tow yard to the insurance. 5. No warnings at all.

The head gasket malfunctioned/ broke. It has been confirmed by the Honda dealer where I currently have my vehicle. There were no messages or symptoms prior to failure. My safety and others were put at risk because my vehicle began to turn off as I was driving up a hill with no warning. The vehicle began to decelerate.

This vehicle is experiencing an aggressive, heat-accelerated hardware degradation of the central capacitive screen assembly commonly identified as ghost glitching, culminating in a total crash of the primary graphic interface and touch controller hardware. While your customer service infrastructure routinely classifies display anomalies as low-priority convenience or entertainment glitches, an objective systems analysis reveals that Honda has centralized critical safety telemetry, emergency communications, and vehicle calibration gateways into a single, unbacked hardware node. Consequently, the catastrophic failure of this infotainment module directly compromises the operational safety of this vehicle, presenting an immediate, unpredictable hazard not only to myself but to the general driving public sharing the roadway. The systematic failure modes of this defect are detailed as follows: 1 Multi-Module Network Failure and Primary Gauge Cluster Blindness The failure of the central display audio unit is not isolated to an entertainment screen. It acts as a network parasite that actively destabilizes the vehicle's primary Driver Information Interface DII on the steering wheel instrument cluster. Toggling the steering wheel controls to view Audio or System telemetry on the primary driver's dash gauge results in an immediate, total blackout of the left digital dashboard display. Because the central infotainment unit's microprocessor is frozen, degraded, or locked up, it fails to respond to high-priority internal Controller Area Network CAN bus data requests from the instrument cluster. This creates a severe data bottleneck that blinds the operator to system telemetry directly behind the steering wheel while traveling at highway speeds. On 5-11-26, I was driving and the vehicle just stopped in the middle of the roadway. I couldn’t go in drive or reverse, just sitting with engine running.No warning lights, no noise, or anything that would let me know there was a problem. Cars was coming up behind me and in front. I called a towi truck, and a police officer. The officer pushed me off the road way, and the car was towed.

SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Vehicle: 2018 Honda Accord On [XXX], at approximately [XXX] PM, I was driving on [XXX] [XXX] at approximately 35 mph. The weather was clear and the road was dry. A vehicle ahead of me began turning into [XXX] N. My vehicle’s Collision Mitigation Braking System / automatic emergency braking system activated suddenly. The system made an audible warning sound, displayed a warning icon, and applied braking even though I did not believe there was a crash-imminent situation. There were vehicles behind me at the time, so the unexpected braking created a potential rear-end collision risk. The braking event also caused back pain, and I later experienced some stomach discomfort. I am concerned this was a false activation of the automatic emergency braking / Collision Mitigation Braking System. I am also concerned because the system reactivates after the vehicle is restarted, meaning I cannot reliably prevent another unexpected braking event from occurring. I am requesting that this be documented as a vehicle safety concern involving possible false activation of the automatic emergency braking system. The touch screen display malfunctions and is often either unresponsive or it has ghost touches and moves across various screens while you are driving and during navigation. The system will make calls, activate voice assistance, move the map when navigation is active to where you can no longer see your route, switch between audio sources, open random apps, etc while driving leading to distraction. The touch screen will not respond to your touch but continue to do its own thing. This is dangerous while driving because it is hard to end calls, get back to your navigation, or focus on the road when voice assistants are activated randomly and difficult to turn off. There is not a reset button for this issue so it may continue the duration of your drive. The issue has been confirmed by a dealer with the suggestion to replace but online forums suggest this is a widespread issue and replacement does alleviate the problem. The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance. There were not any warning lamps, messages, or systems prior to the issue.

While driving vehicle detected both road departure and engaged the emergency automated braking. The vehicle attempted to correct the "road departure" by steering the vehicle away from the perceived problem and engaged the brakes nearly causing a collision as it has done numerous times before. I have reported this to NHTSA and American Honda multiple times and await a repair of this dangerous issue. Honda has opened a case on this but have had 18 months and no response has been issued.

I take my car for updates (Recall) and now i am being told that the head gasket is blown and damaged the injectors The powertrain might pay for the blown head gasket but not the injectors (which were damaged due to the head gasket blowing) no coolant but the car never ran hot. Honda is trying to stick to me to pay out almost $7000.00 which is wrong when it went to them for a recall

POWER TRAIN
The contact owns a 2013 Honda Accord. The stated that the vehicle was taken for the recall repair for NHTSA Campaign Number 25V422000 (Power Train). The contact stated that after the recall repair was completed, the vehicle was not apart of the recall. The dealer advised the the when alignment was not apart of the recall repair and would be at the owners expense. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and informed that the alignment was part of the recall. The contact stated that while driving after the repair, the vehicle began to swerve uncontrollably, the vehicle felt loose and an adjustment has to be made while driving to straighten the steering wheel. The vehicle was not returned again to the dealer however the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed as being severely misaligned. The contact believed that the recall repair was not properly repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 50,965

Car was failing in 2024 due to fuel recall. It was fixed by Webbs auto shop. Now 2026 recall shows with DMV and Honda is failing at providing a proof of correction after Inspecting the car and approving all the changes made to it. I am unable to get my car tags due to Honda failing to comply with what DMV is needing to complete this request for my tags.

Reporting severe dealer negligence and physical structural damage during secondary repairs for Federal Safety Recall 20V-769 / Campaign W9F at Darcars Honda (Fairfax, VA). The technician severely violated Honda TSB 20-125 protocols, physically mushrooming the steel on the left lower control arm (LCA) boss. This blunt-force mechanical damage compromises the structural integrity of the suspension and creates a high probability of out-of-spec ovality in the steering knuckle/mating bore, creating an ongoing dynamic safety hazard. My 2022 Honda Accord Infotainment have what is being referred to as "Ghost Touches" the screen very erratically switches between settings in the system, clear programmed data, and adjust the radio and volume without being touched. This has been a major distraction while driving and pose has huge safety risk for myself and put others at risks for accidents. I have had several near misses because of this. You never know when it will happen so when it does, it immediately removes your eyes off the road where it should be while driving to try and attempt to get it to stop because the switching is loud and distracting especially with the volume adjustments. I purchased the vehicle new, the first owner and not even a three months later the nightmare began. I have taken it to the Honda dealership serval times when it is happening and the course of action is a screen reset and the issue still persist. There were no warnings or lights that came on prior to it to happening, it just began and has never stopped. The reset is not a sufficient solution and the only other option there is to replace it which cost well over a thousand dollars and most customers can't afford it. This a serious Honda issue that needs to be address because there are a lot of customers having this issue and nothing is being done about it or assistance with getting it repaired.
