Headlights are too high, too bright, and 5000K+ color, which has been documented to upset circadian rhythms in most, and causes agitation, or even seizures, in a small percentage of the population

DanvilleVA24543-0062United States1/1/2026"These lights are extremely blinding and have been the specific cause of several near accidents by a friend when I was a passenger. They should be outlawed outright. Period. Jerk drivers nowadays don't bother to dim them either. They should also force manufacturers to put all of them at the same height from the road, most especially those huge pickups that jerks drive to make themselves proud and better than everyone else, that have billion candlepower headlights blasting in your rear view mirrors that blinds everything, the road, your dashboard, your windshield, the interior of your car, as well as in the front of your face. Respectfully submitted, except for the jerk idiots who don't dim their lights even when the low lights are too bright to start with. Loss of engine power when transmission shifts from 3rd gear to 2nd gear. Truck will unexpectedly loose ability to accelerate, typically until shift to 1st or 3rd gear occurs. Return of power can cause vehicle to accelerate rapidly and unexpectedly. Malfunctions typically happens in parking lots and while yielding to make a turn, but also happens in stop and go traffic. Concerned of loss of acceleration while pulling out in traffic. No warning lamps or error codes when failure occurs. I've been working with the dealer to resolve for 1 year with nothing done. After 11 months the dealer acknowledged there is an issue, but is unsure of cause or how to repair. Now recommending an entire transmission replacement and not sure if that will resolve.

There is a known problem with the DRLs burning out, which poses a safety issue. Many people have had this problem causing an expensive repair out of warranty. The entire headlamp assembly has to be replaced.

complete loss of brakes. there was zero response from the brake pedal for several complete pumps to the floor. after about 4 complete "stomps", the brakes locked, resulting in a violent and sudden stop. at the time, the dash began flashing multiple warning messages about display failure and also ABS failure and making many alarm sounds, further distracting me from dealing with a very dangerous situation. Had this occurred at speed and not at a fast idle speed, serious injury or death would likely have occurred. this is a Xcelerate fleet vehicle, and fleet services took the vehicle to a non-dealership shop, which claims to have fixed the problem but could not complete the recall repairs. fleet has only just today agreed to tow the vehicle to a Ford dealership for recall repair. This incident occurred on 9/26/2025.

Front differential diagnosed as failed, needing a full rebuild or replacement by local Ford Dealer. The vehicle now has 70,700 miles, the noise first thought to be a wheel bearing at 60K+ miles. Safety concerns are a possibility of a failure at highway speeds,. I have reviewed similar complaints with fewer miles on similar 2022 Ford f-150 trucks having these component failures.

- #11707462December 29, 2025ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
I was driving and all of the dash lights came on simultaneously and I lost power braking ability while on the interstate. I was able to pull over and the truck shut off. I had to call a tow truck because it would not start back up. The AAA servicer reprogrammed the battery which turned all of the warning lights off except for the "push brake to start" warning and the truck will still not start because of this. The tech with AAA advised there is a recall related to this issue but my VIN search returns no results.

The transmission was slipping in 2nd and 10th gear. This was confirmed by the dealer. A full transmission had to be replaced at 66,000 miles. The vehicle had an excellent maintenance record and well kept. Ford did pay half of the cost but I still ended up spending $6k out of pocket and my vehicle was in the shop for 27 days.
