Complaint Description The vehicle is equipped with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission that exhibits erratic and unpredictable shifting behavior. The transmission frequently hesitates, shifts harshly, or delays engagement, particularly when accelerating from a stop, slowing down, or attempting to merge into traffic. At times, the vehicle fails to deliver power when the accelerator is pressed, creating a delay in acceleration. This is especially dangerous when pulling into intersections, making left turns across traffic, or merging onto roadways where immediate and predictable power is required to avoid collisions. The transmission also downshifts harshly and unexpectedly, causing sudden jerking and brief deceleration. These events can occur without warning and increase the risk of loss of vehicle control or rear-end collisions, particularly in stop-and-go traffic or at low speeds. In addition, the transmission often clunks or lurches into gear, including when shifting from park to drive or reverse. This creates unsafe conditions in parking lots and low-speed environments where precise vehicle control is necessary to avoid pedestrians or other vehicles. Because these issues occur inconsistently and without warning, the driver cannot reliably anticipate vehicle response. This unpredictability represents a safety defect that increases the risk of a crash during normal driving conditions.

I have two recalls that I cannot get any assistance with Recall # 23S65 Rear Axle Bolt Breakage and new recall #25S75 which is Fuel Pump Riser. I have acquired services from four different dealerships and have taken photos and mileage to get repairs completed. I hear clicking noise in my truck and afraid of it causing serious damage and injury along with my fuel pump issue and bad gas mileage and noises when initial cranking my vehicle. I would like to know what dealership in Southwest Louisiana could I bring my vehicle in to resolve these issues that I have been dealing with close to a year. If not, what dealership will provide me courtesy like vehicle rental until completed. I currently of the Bubba Ostalet Ford 246 N. Broadway St. Jennings, La 70546.

Please see Ford TSB SSM50543. In my case the driver's door has been freezing in the lock position. Door will not unlock and cannot be opened either from the inside or outside. The key in the outside will not unlock the door and pulling up on the knob inside cannot be done (even tried with pliers). The electric door locks for the frozen door do nothing. This made it possible for me to only get out of or into the driver's seat by climbing in/out from the passenger's side. I also tried to not lock the driver's door, and this just made the door frozen in the unlock position. Very inconvenient, but I am especially concerned if I had to exit or enter the driver's side in an emergency. Ford knows about this as can be seem from the issued TSB. This had happened more than once and goes away when the inside of the truck gets really warm, or the weather gets above sufficiently over freezing.

I have received multiple letter from Ford indicating the solution for this recall 23S65 is available at dealership. However, every ford dealership I have reached out to says there are no parts available to fix the recall. My ford dealership has placed the order on November 2025 but they have no ETA when the parts will become available.

My Ford F-150 is subject to Manufacturer Recall Number23S65/NHTSA Recall Number23V896. I asked for the repair multiple times, but the dealership repeatedly told me that the parts were on backorder. The hub bolt on my right rear tire cracked and the truck was making a high pitched sound. I took it to the dealer and they said the bolt was cracked and driving it in that condition is dangerous. The truck is not safe to drive, but the parts remain on backorder indefinitely.

I purchased this vehicle new 7/31/25. Within the first week of ownership I noticed a noise coming from the rear axle. Brought into Ford dealer for diagnosis at 723 miles: tech notes indicated that the abs tone ring was not manufactured correctly and was hitting the ABS wheel speed sensor. The sensor had visible impact marks. The rear axle assembly was replaced under warranty. The repair took over 10 days. At this point I was concerned about the Q/C and build quality of the vehicle. I asked Ford for an extended warranty as a goodwill gesture, which was denied. This failure was related to a Federally regulated safety system: ABS brakes. ~5 months later on 1/8/26 (12, 336 miles), I attempted to place the vehicle in park using column shifter, a service light came on and the truck was not responding to the shifter input. I turned the truck off with the parking brake engaged, restarted truck and another warning light came on saying place vehicle into park. The truck would not start and I was left stranded without warning. The vehicle was towed to the nearest dealer. Diagnosis revealed the shifter module was faulty and needed to be replaced. Ford had a TSB about this issue. The repair took 7 days. At this point I'm extremely concerned about the reliability of this vehicle. This has been two major failures within less than 6 months of ownership. Ford contacted me asking how my experience was with the vehicle. I informed them I was very disappointed and had safety concerns. I asked for an extended warranty which was denied. I then escalated the ticket to asking for a voluntary buyback from Ford. Ford notified me that I didn't meet the criteria for a voluntary buyback and the claim was denied. Due to the repeated failures I do not feel safe continuing to drive this vehicle and I want Ford to step in and assist with this matter.

The drivers side window will at times stay in the down position. The safety issue is during rain, snow or very cold conditions the driver is distracted by the down window. I did call a dealer who said this happens and I need to go thru a crazy procedure to get window up. No one has looked into this problem. The Ford dealers are well aware of this problem and there are many videos out that describe the problem. There is no for warning of a problem.

Driver side LED DRL light has failed. This is a common problem occuring with many people with 2021+ year models of the Ford F-150. Truck is barely outside of warranty and with 51,000 miles and should not have a failing LED DRL. Additionally, Ford has made this part unrepairable and according to the dealership closest to me will require a full headlight assembly replacement.

I was in the parking lot of my local grocery store, and the truck all of a sudden gave me an indicator that there is a "park brake fault-service now." I was stranded and had to have someone pick me up for this, This is after hours so I cannot call the Ford dealership until the following day. I now see Ford issued a recall for this under 23S35. However, when I look up my VIN under Ford, that did not show, and thus, we did not address this earlier when that should have happened. That is a problem and needs to be addressed with Ford ASAP. What if I was driving and this happened??!!

I received a recall on my 2022 ford f150 vehicle stating that the wheel end hub bolt in the rear axle may become loose or break. Continued use of the vehicle can cause damages to other vehicles and/or cause crashes. I tried to have this repaired when I received a recall notice back in November 2025 but they were unable to help. I dropped my vehicle off on 1/6/26 for recall repair and they are telling me there are no parts available and won't get a new update letter until 4th quarter 2026.I did ask about providing a rental in the meantime they immediately denied my request. At this time I do not feel safe removing my vehicle from the lot or driving it. I spoke with Earl at Ford Recall Assistance Center on 1/23/26 (ref call number: [XXX]) . I can not go without a vehicle, this is absolutely unacceptable and I am submitting this complaint and will be moving forward with legal counsel.
