The system of my car kept saying that low oil pressure and I was confused because I just got my car oil changed two weeks ago. So I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil checked. They said it was full and that I had a mass flow light on and they stated that there was something wrong with the oil pressure due to the airflow or something, so then my car stopped on side of the road 2 minutes after I left jiffy lube. I almost got to into a wreck. Someone almost hit my car because my car was accelerating slow, so I had to pay a tow truck to take my car home then I have to pay for a mobile mechanic to come out to my house to see the issue. he said that it was , the vacuum pump, the engine oil pressure was low due to the airflow just like jiffy lube said and also the timing belt or chain tension needed to be replaced. Now I have been without a car for a week and every time I call the dealership they said that there is no parts in stock. I have also called the vehicle safety hotline 1-888-327-4236 and the number is out of service. So I don’t know what to do. I am without a car I don’t know how to rent a car because I don’t have the money for it because I just paid over $600 (Tow truck, oil service and diagnosis test). I don’t know if you guys can trade my car in for something else or give me a loaner car but something has to be done. You guys have to help me out some kind of way due to this recall. This is acceptable especially since I have to Uber my kids to and from school and daycare and I have to Uber myself to work, pick up my kids and home every day. Please contact me as soon as possible [XXX] so this issue can be resolved. Thanks [XXX] . INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

- #11580204March 30, 2024ENGINE, POWER TRAIN, SERVICE BRAKES
I have experience powertrain malfunctions, loss of engine power since June 2023. I had to have my vehicle towed to ford because I had no engine power. The engine was replaced in October and I still am experiencing the same exact issue. The engine light and power train malfunction alerts. I have reduced power and braking while driving. I brought the ecosport back to ford on March 22 2024 and I was quoted $2400 to replace the engine oil pump belt tensioner .when I brought in my vehicle I was never told by ford that this is the exact part that my vehicle has a recall on. My car still has not been fixed and is a safety hazard.

In Jan 2024 my car started running rough. In Feb 2024 I was mailed the 23V-905 recall notice. Late Feb I had the oil changed in my car. This didn't help the rough running. Mar 4 2024 a warning came on indicating "low engine oil pressure". I took it back to the oil change shop, who looked at everything, showed me it had a safe oil level...it was not dripping oil on my driveway. I was then told about the recall notice and to have it diagnosed at a dealership. Every dealer I called advised it an advance notice only, it's okay to drive my car, until parts are available - In July. I called Ford who gave me a service ticket CAS48387851. My dealership did a diagnosis and said there is metal in the oil with coes P0012, Intake camshaft position timing over re-tarded P0014, low or contaminated oil P0299, Turbo under boost condition P0303, cylinder 3 misfire detected P0316, Engine misfire Detected on start up P0340, camshaft position sensor A circuit P0344." They said I need my engine replaced for $7266.XX - and that this isn't recall related. I need NHTSA to upgrade the Ford recall to expedite repairs. There are many people without use of their vehicles, still making payments, and no replacement car due to Ford's inadequate response to a problem known since Feb 2022 when Critical Concern Reviewed the oil pump issue. Thank you

I have had nothing but problems with this car. It only had 36 miles on the car & dealership (Frederick Ford,Seaford de) classified it as used. The car wouldn’t start, had to call roadside assistance. After waiting the car decided to start. Going down road car kept cutting off & on and losing power. Everyone it lost power I had to try and pull over. What if there was nowhere to pull over and it just cut off in the road?!?! The dealership has been a total nightmare . I tried to exchange car & the sales manager was [XXX]. And was yelling he wouldn’t be able to sell a messed up vehicle. After complaining to Ford all I got was an extensive warranty with free oil changes. That’s it. I have records of all my car problems . My car has only a little over 15,000 miles cause I scared of driving it. I go back and forth to work that’s about it. I have 9 times my car has messed up from 04/2021-to 10/2022. 1x -[XXX] 3x- [XXX] 4x- [XXX] 1x- [XXX] Now There a recall on a car I haven’t even driven over 15,000 miles?!?!?
