I drive a Standard ‘22 Bronco. Only E-brake works for parking brake when in parking lots and such. My Bronco rolls into oncoming traffic and pedestrians when the e-brake releases. I am former Homeland Security and this unacceptable, as this if my 10th issue with the Ford Bronco! Safety First!

- #11741790June 3, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
The Pre-Collision Assist false-triggers on turns daily, flashing the red collision warning and actively applying autonomous emergency braking without any obstruction present. This phantom braking is a severe safety hazard. The vehicle has been serviced before for this issue - and is going back to the shop next week (for the same issue).

-Complete steering and suspension failure occurred while driving on highway. Vehicle is currently sitting at Ford dealer. - The safety of all passengers was put at risk and nearly caused a fatal accident. -Dealer and another shop are saying it was lower control arm and bushing failure. They are unclear on path forward for repairs and it seems like something bigger is going on they do not want to disclose. They deny problem has been reproduced on this model, however a similar recall for this type of failure has occurred on other bronco models under recall number 26S36. That recall report matches what happened to my vehicle. -It has been inspected by Ford and Bronco Barn in Las Vegas. I will be getting a third opinion for a clear path forward since none has been supplied by ford or the third party company. -There were no warning lamps, check engine lights, or messages prior to failure. There was a slight misalignment of tires felt while driving just prior to losing full steering control.

After my Ford dealer applied their recall "fix" on the rear shocks of my 2021 Bronco with Sasquatch package my passenger side rear shock reservoir came off while driving down the freeway. It didn't hit anyone but it was scary never the less.

The Sta-bar continues to disconnect. Had been in shop 5xs for same issue 2 weeks each time with hopes that they fixed it. Within 500miles after leaving shop it does it again and warning flashes to seek maintenance immediately. There is no obvious reason of why. It will donit when it's dry, when it's raining or snowing. It happens when I first turn car on or it could happen going 70mph on highway. Started within the first 1000 miles on car and has continued, currently at 18000miles. Car feels unsteady on every bump and ripple and with high winds when it occurs. It happens more times then I can count now, tired of paying high monthly payment for it to sit in shop.

The instrument cluster panel goes black and stays blacked out for driving from startup to shutdown. This does not occur consistently, but it occurs often and unpredictably and is occurring more and more often. Attempted to have dealership fix and they want to replace the instrument cluster panel. This is a safety issue for basic functionality of the vehicle. Ford has had this issue identified during other years of Bronco production but appears unwilling to fix it in all of them.

There has been an SSM release by Ford (SSM 51415) acknowledging that 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles flat towed in neutral may experience inconsistent or unintended ABS (anti-lock brake) module activation while being towed. The ABS module exits sleep mode unexpectedly due to road vibration input during towing, which can cause brake drag or lockup while the vehicle is being flat towed behind a motorhome. This is a safety concern as unexpected braking of the towed vehicle can affect the towing vehicle's stability and control at highway speeds. The vehicle is being operated exactly as documented in the Ford owner's manual, which explicitly supports neutral flat towing. Ford has developed a software update to address this defect but is declining to cover it under warranty or goodwill, instead classifying it as non-covered maintenance. The issue has been confirmed by an authorized Ford dealership who identified SSM 51415 as applicable. A community workaround requiring removal of fuses 28 and 29 to disable the ABS pump has emerged among owners, indicating this is a widespread known issue affecting safety during a manufacturer-approved towing method. Ford should issue a TSB or recall and cover the software correction at no cost to owners.

- #11739412May 21, 2026VISIBILITY/WIPER
I am filing a safety complaint regarding repeated windshield cracking on my new 2025 Ford Bronco. I purchased the vehicle approximately 2 months ago. Since purchase, the vehicle has experienced 3 separate windshield cracks under normal commuting use only. The vehicle has not been used off-road or in extreme driving conditions. The most concerning issue is that after the windshield was replaced, the replacement windshield developed another crack within approximately 24 hours of installation. The dealership has repeatedly classified the damage as “normal road debris” or “rock impact,” but I am concerned this may involve a structural, installation, or manufacturing defect rather than ordinary wear and tear. My concerns are based on the following: Multiple windshield failures in a very short period of ownership Failure occurring on a brand-new replacement windshield within 24 hours Normal commuting use only Concern for stress-related cracking, improper installation, body/frame flex, or windshield mounting issues Potential safety hazard involving driver visibility and windshield integrity I am requesting investigation into possible manufacturing, installation, or structural defects involving windshield cracking or windshield mounting systems on the 2025 Ford Bronco. I am also aware of other Ford Bronco owner complaints involving repeated windshield cracking and windshield-related issues. This issue creates ongoing safety concerns due to impaired visibility and repeated glass failure in a nearly new vehicle.

My 2022 Ford Bronco experienced recall 25S75 where fuel pump failed while driving on the freeway outside LA near San Bernardino. Recall was communicated in July of 2025 and no fix available. How long has Ford been building cars? There were no warnings or symptoms prior to failure. This was extremely dangerous for car to stall in the middle of the freeway, not to mention it was 98 degrees outside. I was able to tow my Bronco to a Ford dealership where they confirmed and fixed the recall fuel pump issue.

Noticed that my hardtop was cracking around the rear windows. This is a know issue with Ford and is being replaced under warranty. Unfortunately, my vehicle is outside of the original 3 year 36,000 mile warranty period by just over 6,000 miles that would qualify for replacement. The dealer quoted over $10,000.00 to replace the entire top since all roof panels appear to be affected. This is almost 1/4 the cost of my vehicle on the used market and is unacceptable for a know issue that would normally be replaced under warranty.

The molded in color hardtops are bad on these Ford Bronco’s. I wanted to report it because mine started cracking, fading, delaminating, and leaking after the vehicle was only 3 months old. They are very defective. Ford warranty replaced mine after a full year of me going back and forth to the dealer to argue about it. It was a long process that I never expected on a brand new vehicle. I’m already starting to see the honeycomb material on my warranty replacement top. I know people who are on their 4th and 5th replacement tops. Also, the road noise is bad with these tops as well. Mine as been warranty replaced now, but it was a rough experience over all and I have zero confidence that the replacement top is of better quality. In fact, the customer service representative at Ford stated more than likely this replacement hardtop would go bad at some point just like the original. They said it was the exact same top with no improvement.
