When the vehicle downshifts in the lower gears, specifically 3rd to 2nd, and 2nd to 1st, the vehicle will often dangerously accelerate, sometimes doubling the speed for a few seconds. This happens fairly consistently when using the lower gearing offroad mode but I've had it happen in normal modes too. There is a TSB that may deal with the issue (TSB 23-2352), but Ford service has not been cooperative with addressing it because they claim to not be able to reproduce the issue despite my having video evidence. I can provide videos if you'd like. I posted about this issue on a Facebook group and apparently it is widespread. The contact took the vehicle to another dealer who was able to reproduce the issue. The dealer stated that it's not a problem because the new Bronco behaves the same manner.

When driving or breaking at slower speeds, the car feels as if the transmission is “slipping” and the car jerks forward. The same thing happens when braking the car.

My vehicle was parked but left running. I went around to obtain my daughter from the rear passenger. While holding her I leaned in to the passenger front and pressed the button to turn off the vehicle when it suddenly began to roll in reverse. It's unknown to me what could have caused the incident but something failed/malfunctioned. Something within possibly the gear shifter glitched when power was cut off?

- #11588716May 14, 2024ENGINE, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Week and half ago engine started idling real rough, sputtering, then drove about 100 yds. Engine conked out in middle of intersection and would not restart. Was dangerous because had 3 grandchildren in back seat. Because engine wouldn’t start I had trouble trying to get it in neutral to push vehicle to side of road. Had to walk grand kids back to their house. Got a AAA tow approximately 35 miles to Ford dealer where purchased. There were no warning messages prior to engine failure except the rough idle and sputtering Vehicle was diagnosed as a fuel pump failure, but vehicle is still at dealership over 10 days awaiting parts

- #11586465May 1, 2024AIR BAGS
During heavy rains, I noticed some water leaking through the A pillar where the air bag is housed. I am concerned that the water may damage the air bag overtime. More importantly, if the air bags are deployed in low temperature (when the water becomes ice), it may create great safety problems.

Manual transmission produces rotational grinding noises when ambient temperatures drop below 50F. Vehicle located in Florida, so any visit to Ford dealer to provide warranty service cannot find a problem. Any complaints on difficult shifting are ignored. This problem if left alone will result in catastrophic failure while driving and may lead to accident.

The infotainment system, radio, backup camera has been frozen or does not come on startup of car. This means the backup camera has been frozen or does not come on when in reverse which is a safety issue. This put people and objects at risk when I backup. This has been happening about once a month if not more. In the cooler months it happens more. I have video proof of this happening and have provided this proof to a Ford dealer. I have taken in my Branco multilabel times to get this checked and they have not been able to reproduce this.

On Sunday [XXX] I experienced a mechanical failure while off road with my Bronco, after getting myself unstuck from a snowbank I had backed into, I heard a clicking coming from my right front wheel, and the clicking continued once I got myself out, I experienced my front wheels lock up twice and a “service 4x4 system” with a wrench, this appeared two different times. This occurred approximately 6.6 to 7 miles up a trail and 9 miles from the nearest town with cell service. (Trail up near Coplay lake, WA.) This “trail” was simply a snowy forest service road and something most vehicles could easily make. Ultimately, it was determined by the dealership that at approximately 12,300 miles my M190 open differential had completely failed and dealership is refusing to warranty the differential. Parts that failed? M190 4.27 front differential. Warning lamps and symptoms ? Service 4x4 lamp and front wheels completely locking up. The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. I was towing the vehicle with my Class A RV. It was a total loss nothing could be inspected. I was in hour number 6 of our long drive to Key West. I looked out of my left side mirror and noticed smoke coming from behind my RV. I immediately pulled off the interstate onto the shoulder. I moved behind my RV and noticed the vehicle was on fire. Within in seconds the fire engulfed the whole vehicle. I had seconds to unhook it from my RV. It took me three tries to unhook because of the smoke. I eventually got it unhooked and went back to the front of the RV and pulled forward out of harms way.

I was driving down the road and the front end of the car started to shake. The power to the car then went out. The message on the dash said to put it in park and restart so I did. I was able to get it started, and put it in drive and then it shook again and the power went out. The message on my Ford App said that there were two issues with the transmission. One was a transmission shift solenoid not responding and the other message was that the transmission clutch did not apply within the time as expected resulting in delayed or hard shifts into another gear. Each time the gear was shifted after start up the entire truck went dead again.
