The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while the defroster was engaged, the windshield cracked on the driver’s side. The crack started at the bottom of the windshield and spread to approximately 7-inches. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or a glass repair shop to be repaired. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact researched online and related the failure to an issue with the OEM windshield. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.

Ford has an active recall for failed rear shock absorbers. My bronco was inspected at the Ford dealership, the tech indicated the shock absorbers failed inspection and needed a recall. A picture was sent to Ford, Ford declined the recall stating the rust was not corrosion. Therefore, my bronco did not receive the recall. Recall number is.25V025.

Tried to get my vehicle fixed under recall Ford mistakenly told me that these were aftermarket rear shocks and that they weren't covered upon fixing the vehicle myself and bringing the shocks into a different dealership they told me that they were covered and should have been fixed under recall I've been trying to get reimbursed by Ford for this and I've been getting the runaround I've been promised call backs from supervisors and have not got any they are well past their 60 day window per their policy to respond this is going on 6 months now I've been trying to get reimbursed for this fix

See attached document for complaint. Dear Ford Motor Company, NHTSA Officials, and Lindsay Ford of Wheaton: I am the registered owner of a 2022 Ford vehicle, XXXXX. I am in receipt of NHTSA Safety Recall Notice 22S72 (dated November 2025, enclosed herein), which states in part: "Vehicle identification Number (VIN): [partial VIN redacted] ... This recall applies to vehicles which may have a defective motor assembly that can cause sudden loss of power, stalling, or fire risk while driving. Until parts are available, Ford recommends parking the vehicle outdoors and away from structures." I am terrified to drive this vehicle. The recall explicitly warns of fire risk, sudden power loss, and inability to restart, all life-threatening conditions. Ford admits no remedy is currently available, and the interim instruction to park outdoors is not a fix; it is an admission that the vehicle is unreasonably dangerous. My Legal Rights Under Federal and State Law: NHTSA Authority (49 CFR § 577.5) "The manufacturer shall remedy the defect or noncompliance without charge when the vehicle is presented for remedy." 1. Ford has failed to provide a timely remedy and instead issued a "park outside" advisory, which does not eliminate the hazard. 2. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.) Ford's express and implied warranties of safety and merchantability have been breached. A vehicle that can catch fire or stall without warning is not fit for its ordinary purpose (safe transportation). 3. Maryland Lemon Law / UCC § 2-314 (Implied Warranty of Merchantability) A known fire hazard renders the vehicle defective and unmerchantable. I have a right to revocation of acceptance and replacement or refund. 4. Ford's Own Recall Language The notice states: "If you are not comfortable driving your vehicle, contact your dealer. "I am not comfortable. I am afraid for my life and my family's safety. I am copying the dealership as well. DEMAND FOR RELIEF: Within seven (7) business days of receipt of this letter, I demand: 1. A

The failure appears to have originated in the passenger side engine compartment, but the exact component or system (fuel, electrical, or other) is unknown. The vehicle is a total loss from the fire but should be available for inspection at the tow or storage facility. Our safety and the safety of others were put at risk because the vehicle caught fire suddenly while driving with traffic on a public road; my wife was driving, I was in the passenger seat, and our dog was in the back, and if we had not noticed the smoke and pulled over, the fire could have led to loss of control, injury, or a larger fire. The problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center because the vehicle is completely burned and not drivable. As of now, the vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer; a claim has been initiated with my insurance company, and I expect their representatives and/or a fire investigator to inspect the vehicle, and local emergency services responded to the scene. There were no warning lamps or messages on the dashboard prior to the fire; the only prior symptom was an abnormal odor from the exhaust that smelled like mothballs or ammonia, first noticed immediately after starting the vehicle at the beginning of the trip on November 23, 2025, followed later in the trip by smoke and then the fire.

The front shocks are leaking and not operating properly. This is a similar known issue with the rear shocks. This is a similar part on the front and Ford is not acknowledging the issue. Loss of vehicle control could occur if they continue to leak and degrade in performance.

- #11699988November 17, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Adaptive Cruise Control was enabled and in use and the vehicle nearly rammed into the leading vehicle. The vehicle speed and distance became erratic and finally the vehicle had an alert that the ACC was unavailable. This was a very scary incident and could have resulted in a collision. an earlier model Bronco had a misalignment radar module recall but it appears my vehicle should also be included in this recall as well.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was almost struck by another vehicle due to the hesitation of vehicle. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was made aware of the issue, and the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The dealer confirmed that the failure was likely related to the recall; however, parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

Tail lights sensors / control are defective in some way. To be clear the tail lights at the rear of the vechile work perfectly fine and are very bright. They light up during lock and unlock. Also if you set headlight to on when parked. Also note brake lights still work in all situations. However. When they are set to auto at times they don’t light at all even at night. Also if in auto every time when you shift into reverse or drive they also go out. Took video of this issue after two dealer visits they said they were unable to replicate. They are suppose to replace the vechile control unit next week. I have my doubts that’s the issue. I’m willing to wager it’s the body control unit that’s the issue which my vechile doesn’t have for some reason because it wasn’t equipped with the tow package.

- #11698141November 7, 2025ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I was driving on the highway at a speed of approximately 70 miles per hour when the Bronco driver screen gave multiple warning notices and at the same time, the accelerator would not react. Steering power was fine. I was in the second from far left lane on a six lane highway and losing speed quickly. I was able to move to the right and drift to the side of the road without incident. Once stopped, I turned the ignition off and waited a few seconds and then turned it back on again. The error messages all cleared and the Bronco accelerator reacted appropriately. I drove it straight to the dealership for inspection. They found the 210 connector was not making a good connection. They cleaned it and added electric grease and reconnected. Everything cleared and the connection was deemed good. I have not worked in the Bronco engine compartment or had work done that would have resulted in loosening the 210 connector. My understanding from the shop is that corrosion caused this connector to loosen.

Rear window of 2024 Bronco spontaneously broke with a loud bang while driving 40 mph down 2 lane smooth asphalt road in town, 55 degrees outside. Only 8000 miles on vehicle. Nobody else was on the road, there are no sidewalks. It would be impossible for a rock or other object to hit it from the back while I was driving 40mph. There was nothing being transported inside the back area of the vehicle and no sudden braking or movements in the car. The entire window exploded into the vehicle while all supporting parts dangled. I drove directly to the Ford dealership who confirmed it, took pictures, vacuumed up the window, and filed a claim, but Ford corporate denied a warranty claim. Similar stories can be found on [XXX] , Facebook, Reddit, and [XXX] . It sounded like a gunshot and then the interior of the car was sprayed with glass. I assume other glass fell outward as well. There were no other indications or warnings, and this is a vehicle driven for pleasure. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

- #11696559October 30, 2025BACK OVER PREVENTION
The contact owns a 2023 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V273000 (Back Over Prevention), and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair. The dealer replaced the rearview camera, but the rearview camera software update could not be completed. The dealer replaced the rearview camera a second time; however, the issue persisted. The dealer informed the contact that the software update might have failed due to the aftermarket 2-inch lift that was performed on the vehicle. The contact was advised that a fee would be charged for the lift removal and was informed that the lift removal might not correct the issue. The contact stated that the aftermarket 2-inch lift was a replication of the Sasquatch, 2-3" Lift package that the manufacturer offered. The recall repair was not completed. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue, but no assistance was provided. The contact had not experienced a failure.

- #11696498October 30, 2025SERVICE BRAKES
I am writing to formally report a safety-related malfunction involving the parking brake system in my vehicle. The issue poses a significant safety hazard while driving and warrants investigation for potential design or manufacturing defects. During normal operation, the parking brake actuator malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to pull to one side and creating an unsafe driving condition. When I took the car to an authorized dealership, I was informed that the issue was due to a faulty parking brake switch. The switch was replaced; however, the malfunction persisted. Further inspection revealed that the parking brake motor and actuator needed replacement. Even after these repairs, while driving, the dashboard repeatedly displayed warnings such as: •“Parking brake engaged,” •“Please release parking brake,” and •“Parking brake system overheated.” When attempting to release the brake, the system would only disengage after manually pressing the release button, rather than automatically disengaging when the vehicle began to move — as it should. This malfunction not only causes confusion but also increases the risk of loss of vehicle control or brake system failure during operation. Given the repeated failures and persistent warnings, I believe this issue represents a potential safety defect that should be reviewed by your agency to determine if other vehicles are affected. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and to ensuring this issue is properly addressed to prevent future incidents.

The vehicle started showing excessive tire wear with only 3500 miles on it. We took it to the dealership to have this checked and discovered it the front suspension was severely out of alignment they aligned the suspension and 1500 miles later it was out of alignment again and was re aligned. Then 1500 miles later it was aligned yet again because of excessive wear and pulling hard to the left. The vehicle was returned to the dealership it was purchased from and they kept it for 27 straight days and claimed to have done 5 alignments and the 5th one worked. We drove the vehicle 1000 miles and the front tires were showing even worse wear and the front end was discovered to be out of alignment yet again. As of today the vehicle is scheduled to be returned to the dealership for a 5th time with no real remedy or answer on the issue. I uploaded 10 documents but have 11 more available.

The turn signal stalk automatically switches the active turn signal to the opposite turn signal after a turn is completed, with no turn signal sound for the new opposite side signal. This is repeatable and has occurred since the purchase of the new vehicle. Example: Engaging the left turn signal using the stalk initiates the left turn signal. However, once the left turn is completed and the stalk clicks back into its neutral position, the right signal is automatically engaged, and there is no sound accompanying the flashing right turn indicator light on the dashboard. Other owners and drivers of this make and model have complained on social media about this issue, which can create havoc in certain traffic situations.
