While traveling at 55mph yesterday, I experienced a full engine failure which shut the car off fully while traveling on a single lane double yellow road. I was able to coast to a secure location. The car will not start or go into neutral. There were no warning lights that occurred at any time prior to the failure. This all occurred while on vacation 2 hours away. I previously went to the dealership for the recommended "fix" for the recall but that obviously did not solve the problem. This was an extremely unsafe situation for me and my family. I also encountered towing costs and significant loss of time. In addition, the car is at a dealership over 2 hours from my home. Chevrolet should be held accountable well beyond a recall notice which didnt solve the problem.

Transmission failed. Only warning was check engine light on 10 minutes prior to failure. At 30 mph on city road car was suddenly coasting, engine rpms revved to 7-8k, no driving power available for approximately 30 seconds. 'Drive' reingaged but apparently in limp mode enough to get a few hundred yards more to parking lot. No reverse gear available and warning on dash 'catastrophic failure' imminent. Garage reports the transmission is 'bad' . Awaiting dealership input but 3 weeks before they will look at it .

I am writing to formally report a critical safety defect regarding the OnStar Telematics Control Module in my 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country VIN: [XXX] . My vehicle was recently diagnosed by SERRA CHEVROLET as having a failed module, which has rendered numerous essential features inoperative. This is not an isolated incident; there is clear evidence of a widespread failure affecting thousands of GM and Chevrolet owners. The failure of this module creates significant safety risks, including: * Loss of Emergency Services: The OnStar SOS button and automatic crash response are disabled, leaving me without a lifeline in the event of an accident. * Systemic Vehicle Malfunctions: This module is deeply integrated into the vehicle’s architecture. Its failure has caused [list your specific issues, e.g., "Check Engine" lights, heads-up display failure, and battery drainage]. * Disabled Connectivity: Core features I paid a premium for, such as navigation, remote start, and Wi-Fi, are now "bricked". It is unacceptable that a flagship $80,000+ vehicle is operating in a degraded and potentially dangerous state due to a known hardware defect. I am requesting that GM take immediate responsibility for this repair at no cost to me, regardless of warranty status, as this is a fundamental safety issue. Please provide a timeline on how GM intends to rectify this widespread defect. I look forward to your prompt response. I am reporting a serious safety concern involving a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe with approximately 23,000 miles.I have a video recording of it . While the vehicle was being driven, water suddenly began actively dripping from the rear cabin light/headliner area into the interior of the vehicle. There were children inside the vehicle at the time, including a child seated directly underneath the area where the water was dripping near the child seat. A significant amount of water is entering the vehicle and continues dripping throughout the interior cabin area. The water appears to be coming from the upper rear cabin/light area and may have entered the electrical system or interior electronic components of the vehicle. I am extremely concerned about potential electrical hazards, safety risks, corrosion, and malfunction of electronic systems caused by water intrusion inside the vehicle. This vehicle has relatively low mileage for its age and has not been modified. The condition appears to involve a possible manufacturing, sealing, or drainage defect. Because children are transported in this vehicle daily, I believe this issue presents a serious potential safety concern and should be formally investigated. ***SAFETY/DANGER*** On April 12th at around 5:30 p.m. my family of five, to include three minor children were returning home from visiting family which live about an hour and a half away and as we're traveling on the freeway at highway speeds, in traffic, our new Tahoe unexpectedly and without warning went into reduced power mode and cut speed down to approximately 35 MPH in active traffic, which out my family and every other car around me in danger and in jeopardy of causing a collision and even worse, a multiple car pile-up as I dodged full speed traffic in front and behind me while traveling at approximately half their speed. I managed to exit the freeway and heard a loud knocking noise from the engine and saw the reduced power mode indicator, all of which had not happened before but again, the Tahoe is relatively new and was just over 5 months and at 8,889 miles at failure. I proceeded to contact GM roadside assistance. They sent a tow truck and I had to make arrangements for my family to return home, an hour away. I made it to the dealership with the tow truck driver after 9 p.m. ***CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE**" After the dealership inspected close to a week later they did determine that the entire engine and turbocharger had to be replaced, which they did in a little over a month, the dealership did their part but confidence is lost. Now I am hesitant to drive the Tahoe as it's the family vehicle but really put my kids, wife, myself and everyone around us on the road in danger as it, out of nowhere, cut speed drastically in active highway traffic.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, I experienced engine failure on my 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe 6.2L V8. This was a very dangerous situation, and could of been potentially dangerous to others around me on the highway. There was no warning just complete loss of engine propulsion at highway speeds. It was towed to the dealership on this same date. On Monday, April 27, 2026, it was confirmed by the Chevrolet Dealership that this vehicle suffered catastrophic engine failure and that the engine was seized up. Inspection would be available upon request.

My vehicle started having stuttering/shifting issues back in August 2025, I was advised the vehicle did not need new engine but upgraded oil. I continued to have the issues and have continued to bring back to dealer for constant software updates - cannot duplicate issue meanwhile the stop sale order was issued and I was not advised. The vehicle then experienced very hard jerking- stall- that lead to the dealership putting an AWD IN 2WD calling it a fix! Just got vehicle back again after a complete stall at a stop sign- causing vehicle to roll back and cut back on! Dealer stated the vehicle showed the stall/shutter but could not duplicate on road test. This is a serious safety issue!!

I was leaving my neighborhood on Saturday night 5/16 around 5:30 and on the way out all of a sudden the dashboard started lighting up and the speed was dropping despite me being on the gas. The screens kept flashing then the car stopped and went into park and I could not get it out of park. I was at the front of my nieghborhood entrance and it made it hard for others to come in and out. I tried to restart it. My husband tried to jump it. I tow truck came about two hours later only to realize it could not tow it since the vehicle was stuck in park and could not be powered to move it to neutral. They had to call a new tow truck. I was sitting in my car stuck in the entrance of my neighborhood impeding traffic for close to 4.5 hours. A new tow truck finally arrived at close to 9:45pm. It was towed on dollies to the dealership. They inspected it today and said the starter and the engine had both failed/blown and needed full replacement. I am waiting to hear back from them on the estimated time for replacement biut could take weeks which is devastating. My vehicle is the 2025 Chevy Tahoe High Country with the 6.2 L V8 engine that I now understand has issues prior to 2025 and was recalled but nothing yet for the 2025. My car is only 9 months old and has 12,100 miles on it. I am devastated. Prior to this I had no issues and there were no sounds or issues it just happened. It was dark by the end and I was sitting in the middle of the road and the lighting in the area is limited so I had to have someone bring me lamps so other drivers could see me as the car is black and it was very dark. Someone almost hit me pulling into the neighborhood as a result thankfully I was able to get lamps.

On 05/01/26 while driving on New York State Thruway route 90 east, my check engine light came on. Almost simultaneously the vehicle began to lose speed and I could not accelerate. As I pulled over I could hear a loud clunky noise. The vehicle would not start and was dead on the side of the thruway. Eventually the vehicle was towed to the dealership I purchased it from where they told me "there is a loose part in the engine and the engine needs to be replaced". Sudden power loss of the vehicle represents a safety risk especially traveling at 65mph. To my knowledge the vehicle has been inspected by only the dealership. On 3/17/26 I alerted the dealership I purchased the vehicle from that I heard a ticking in the engine once in a while when I auto started the vehicle. I was told I would receive a call from servicing but never did.

My vehicle has suffered a Transmission Control Valve Failure (stuck open). This is the exact mechanical failure detailed in GM’s Nationwide Recall N24245441-02. It is deeply disheartening and illogical that my vehicle—which shares the exact year, make, model, and identical mechanical failure detailed in the safety bulletin—is excluded from the recall purely due to an arbitrary VIN filtering process

Engine failure while driving to [XXX] from [XXX] . Mobile mechanic indicated a likely spun bearing. Less than 24,000 miles. Was stranded in [XXX] and delivered vehicle to local Chevrolet dealership same day as incident. It’s been over a month with no repair eta. Incurred significant travel and accommodation costs, with receipts available, due to the disruption. GM had thus far refused to confirm any reimbursement of expenses. On May 2nd 2026 I was driving my 2021 Tahoe high country with the 6.2 motor at 60 mph and started to slow down before my left hand turn. In the process of slowing down at about 40mph I heard a loud bang/thud noise. The car had completely shut down all motor related usage. I coasted into the shoulder on the side of the road the vehicle would not restart. I had my children and wife in the car. There were no check engine lights or any other warning signs on the dash prior to this happening. The Tahoe was running perfectly fine. Ended up needing the vehicle towed to the chevrolet dealership. It was confirmed upon dealership inspection by the mechanic that an intake valve spring broke and locked up the engine. We currently are being denied coverage through our extended warranty with endurance to replace the engine.

- #11737295May 12, 2026POWER TRAIN, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at 75 MPH, the vehicle shut off without warning. Due to the failure, the contact used excessive force to steer the vehicle off to the shoulder of the highway where the vehicle was then towed to a dealer. After the vehicle remained in the dealer's possession for over a week, the vehicle was diagnosed with an engine failure. The contact was then informed that the vehicle was placed under recall NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine) and that the engine would be replaced. Despite the engine repair, the contact stated that an abnormal, rattling sound would emit from the vehicle upon start of the engine. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle would violently jerk upon depression of the accelerator pedal while at a complete stop. The failure started intermittently; however, the contact stated that overtime the failure became more persistent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they claimed that the transmission was four quarts low on transmission fluid; they then informed the contact that they could not guarantee that remedy would repair the failure. The contact stated that failure improved; however, she would still experience a slight hesitation upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.

- #11737120May 11, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
The issue is related to Super Cruise hands free driving. During a recent long trip multiple times the Super Cruise signaled for lane change and tried to move into the passing lane with a car directly beside me. I have 8,500 miles on this car and have used Super Cruise extensively on highway driving only and until this last trip never had any issue with the system seeing cars in lanes beside me before. I only avoided a collision because I prevented the lane change by grabbing the steering wheel. This software bug will end up with injury or death of individuals unless Chevy fixes this immediately. Your help in investigating this is appreciated. I will add my son has a 2025 Suburban and has experienced the car trying to pull into traffic beside him.

Engine has developed a miss and has check engine code P0300 random misfires. There are subcodes pending of P0011 and P0016 indicating Crank and Cam misalignment. This has all the classic signs for a failing engine. I am taking this truck in for the GM Picoscope test, the oil was changed to 0w40 mobile one supercar oil approx. 2,800 miles ago when the truck was under Powertrain warranty. I will preform a Blackstone oil test to determine if there is abnormal engine wear. My truck is not in the vin. recall range.

Two years in a row my car leaked a significant amount of water through every light button any hole in the ceiling. It also leaked all over the center counsel while driving and came through the foot pedals all over my feet and the entire floor of the vehicle while driving. The value of my car has been destroyed and Chevrolet is not taking this seriously. They have told me they will only replace the roof liner and half the carpet. They are not acknowledging the potential damage done to the electrical system and the overall value of the car from bad smells that have been caused by dirty water soaking the entire interior. My car is ruined and it should be replaced.
