AIR BAGS
UNITS ONE, TWO, AND THREE WERE TRAVELING ON I-90 W/B. AT APPROXIMATELY MILEPOST 62.0 UNIT ONE TRAVELING IN LANE #3 (LANE #3, BEING THE THIRD LANE FROM THE MEDIAN WALL) LOST CONTROL, SPUN, AND STRUCK THE REAR DRIVER QUARTER PANEL OF UNIT TWO TRAVELING IN LANE #3. THE IMPACT FORCED FORWARD UNIT TWO INTO THE REAR OF UNIT THREE TRAVELING IN LANE #1. THEN UNIT TWO SPUN, DROVE OFF THE ROADWAY ONTO THE RIGHT SHOULDER AND STRUCK THE CONCRETE BARRIER. THE DRIVERS HAD NO RECOLLECTIONS REFERENCING THE ACCIDENT. My car was nr.2 in police report. I hit concrete barrier and my airbags didn't deploy. Car is a total loss. not repairable. My head landed on steering will. I have fractures nasal bone and my cartilage was moved. I will need have a surgery. Other injury are lower back , knee and chest. The contact owns a 2012 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at night, the headlights were very dim, making it difficult to see the roadway. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the headlamps assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the contact stated that while turning the steering wheel, there was a grinding noise coming from the steering wheel. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer nor repaired. The last failure consisted while driving 10 MPH in a rear-ended crash where the brake pedal failed to stop the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. There was a police report filed. The contact owns a 2010 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated while driving, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard. The brake light warning light was illuminated. In addition, the brake overheating warning message was displayed. The contact stated that in order to turn the brake light off, he had to use his foot to lift the brake pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised him that it could be multiple causes. The contact stated he then contacted the manufacturer who advised he would have to pay out of pocket for repair. EXTERIOR LIGHTING
We have had an ongoing problem with our headlights dimming and getting worse and worse. The dealers tell us there's nothing they can do to test the headlight. They can sure tell if they drive it at night. It's so unsafe to drive at night that when we do we must use our high beams and in doing so, oncoming traffic flash their lights at us. It's so bad, I am afraid to drive and night and now won't and will only allow my husband too. This headlight issue has been an ongoing problem with Cadillac where they issued a recall, but for some reason didn't include the 2016 models in that recall. A case advisor offered us $500 towards the $2,000 repair and stated if there ever is a recall they would refund us what we paid. This is unacceptable. They know there's a problem and they don't take responsibility.

SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
On multiple occasions, when I have had to panic brake, either due to snowy weather conditions or when I had to brake hard while on the highway, the brake pedal loses pressure and I am barely able to stop for some time, thereafter. Later, the pressure returns to normal. I have taken the vehicle to the repair shop on multiple occasions, and the techs have been unable to reproduce the problem. This is a serious problem, and could lead to serious injury or death. Please issue a recall immediately and force the manufacturer to fix this. Thank you.

Had the recall corrected at auto gallery Chevrolet in commerce Georgia in December they put new parts on and car wasn’t driving properly I returned it and they put the old parts on then it was driving better than before but It was eating the back tires off went through 2 sets of tires then took it back to dealership and they did alignment when returned it was roaring and still eating tires off the rear wife was driving yesterday evening and she said it started shaking and sliding

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
The headlights are so dim I can't see at night without putting my bright lights on. The dealership is aware of the problem, they say there was a rebate given not a recall. I was told it would still cost me over $600 in addition to the $1600 the manufacturer was giving as a rebate. The problem with that was the letter I received stated the headlight would frost over due to moisture. Since my headlight did not look frosted I choose not to get them repaired. After driving one night on a road with no lights I saw how bad it really was. I had the light bulb changed, that did not help any. So I went back to the dealership that's when the mechanic explained to me that it was the inside light housing that holds the bulb had what was light a "cataract" and the only fix is changing the whole headlight unit. This could cost more than $2000. The date to use the rebate has passed.
