POWER TRAIN
It has a pulsing action and massive vibration when under normal acceleration. It makes it so you have to give it more throttle or stop completely. It's a known transmission problem that GM knows about but will do nothing to fix. They even have a TSB out about it. It makes the vehicle very unsafe and hard to drive.

SUSPENSION, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I have a 2015 Cadillac Escalade. It has been well taken care of. To my disappointment, this vehicle has been a money pit since day one. We have had to have all shocks replaced two times since January 16, 2020, costing thousands of dollars.The front cross bar was replaced the first time the shocks were replaced. The airconditioning system went out in the summer of 2020, replacement cost over 2500.00 The back suspension was just replaced in December 2022 for 2100.00. Running board motor wore out. Radio touch screen had to be replaced because it did not respond to tounch 1400.00 No warning lights appeared. SAFETY ISSUES**** The automatic seatbelt system no longer works since August 2022. Now the side detection system doesn't work since December 2022, replacement cost will be 1500.00 These have both been inspected by a dealer. These put myself, my passengers, and others at risk by not properly ensuring their safety while in my car and drivers in my blind spot. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle any longer. I don't know when or where it will malfunction next and that will extremely dangerous to those in my car and driving along side me. Needless to say, this vehicle has cost us more money than the beauty of the vehicle. These are a just a few of the issues we have encountered while owning it and I can honestly say, we will probably not purchase another Cadallic again.

I was driving with my family of five on I-15 in Utah County, UT, on 01-14-23 when the ability to accelerate was impacted. We noticed a strange noise from the engine compartment too. After about ten seconds of the strange noise and as I was attempting to cross four lanes of traffic to pull over, the car gave an oil pressure problem reading and shut off as we were in the process of coming to a complete stop. My wife and three kids were traumatized by the incident and I was rattled too. After a few hours, I was able to get towed with the help of State Farm (my insurance company) at my expense (my portion was $143.75 paid by my Visa card). The vehicle was towed to Jerry Seiner Cadillac in SLC, UT. I am now without a family vehicle and no loaners were available, according to the service writer. He said that I will likely have to rent a car while I wait for a new engine. He also said that there are two Cadillac's at the dealership that have been waiting on new engines since May 2022. My family cannot bear the expense of this engine failure, the depreciation of the vehicle while it sits waiting for a new engine, the trauma and danger the incident put us through, and the time I am spending to try to resolve the issue. I'm worried that other will have a similar experience and am writing about this incident to ensure that it's documented.

I hooked up a 20' car hauler trailer with trailer brakes to my 2023 Cadillac Escalade and proceeded to go on a trip when immediately I received a message on the dash that said, "service trailer brakes" and then proceeded by another message that says "trailer brakes have been disabled". I took the trailer to a trailer shop where they checked all of the wiring, connections and brakes on the new 2023 trailer and they said everything was working perfectly when they hooked up their electrical device to the trailer. They said the problem was with the 2023 Cadillac Escalade internal brake controller. I took the Escalade to Cadillac of South Charlotte on Dec 30, 2022 and they confirmed that there is a problem with the controller and there is no fix. This is consistent to what I have read on the 2021-2022 GM vehicles that have this controller. This is a safety hazard should anyone try to trailer assuming their brakes are working on their trailer and they do not.

so when I give it some gas the blower Moter for the ac /heat with go Fater then when the rpms go down the fan goes down with it same with the lights they flicker. i had changed the brake pads an rotors an blew compressed air on the caliper an seen a pin hole on the rubber seal.

The contact owns a 2022 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the RPM’s revved up and down continuously and the vehicle shuddered significantly. The contact stated that he depressed the brake pedal and shifted into drive (D), and the failure ceased. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while the vehicle was in park (P). Additionally, the contact stated while driving 20-35 MPH with low RPMs, the vehicle would shudder significantly while driving. The contact stated that the failure ceased upon dressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed but no issues were found. The dealer stated that the vehicle was operating as designed. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer, Brogan Cadillac of Totowa (112 US-46 East, Totowa, NJ 07512), who advised as the first dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was operating as designed. The failure mileage was approximately 20.

The contact also stated that the front windshield wiper module had failed to operate as needed. The contact purchased a new battery; however, the failure persisted. The contact initially took the vehicle to a dealer, but the mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic and remained with the independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 91,000.

Friday evening I was left stranded on the side of the road in my 2021 Cadillac Escalade with less than 30k miles that I actually purchased brand brand new about a year or so ago. The vehicle slowed to a crawl in the fast Lane of I65 as cars and semis whipped past me as I attempted to use any last moment to get the shoulder. I finally get to the shoulder and contact Cadillac customer service to get a tow who after approximately 2 hours of supposedly searching for tow technical they come back and tell me they can't find someone to accept the contract. When I say that that is unacceptable I guess they expand the search and come back and tell me that a tow truck that is 2 hours away is coming. At that exact time I got on google myself myself and found a tow truck that got to me in 15 minutes. That then takes me to this morning where I called the service department myself and was informed by John that its is on the batter charger and I will hear back in an hour as I informed him at that moment that I had no vehicle, but he informed me that he couldn't do anything till after they found the issue. Fast forward to the call I receive at 12:20 multiple hours later where I'm informed that it is an issue with the engine of a 2021 Cadillac Escalade with less than 30k and the best that could be done is get me a rental car in Lafayette an hour away from me I contacted the dealership today and have been informed since i intend to consult with an attorney they can no longer speak with me.

I had a problem with my vehicle having a horrible vibration at certain speeds and my Cadillac giving my so many problems too. I’ve had my vehicle at the gm dealer so many times to try and fix these issues. I’ve had multiple things fixed on my Cadillac to stop this vibration but nothing has worked! They can’t get the vibration fixed and causes my car to need balanced a lot! Fr what I read Cadillac is aware of this issue but has chosen not to take responsibility for it. They call it the Chevy shake or death wobble. They’ve put two different motors in the gm vehicles and they are junk. Plus my car hesitates when you put it drive and the check engine light comes every once in awhile. It’s terrible to drive this at certain speeds with the vibration. I also had other issues with my vehicle including the Cadillac cue and my back door handle breaking off. The recently replaced my Cadillac cue with the same one but all the Cadillac cues are junk. They freeze all the time and can’t use it. I have all my my paper work from the dealerships it’s been at and everything they have replaced. I don’t understand why Cadillac isn’t taking responsibility for these issues. It’s been so frustrating not being able to drive my car when it sits at the dealership for weeks at a time. Yes, I’ve had two open claims in this case and have two lawyers involved. I would prefer to fax all my paperwork since I have so much to upload.

When driving it feels like I'm slowing down when I'm not. The lights inside, the headlights, & on dashboard flicker & sometimes go out while driving. My seatbelts on the driver, back seat behind driver not working. The driver seat does not adjust so I can position myself correctly. The truck rocks side to side while driving as if it will tip over on its side if I drive over 30. I just recently acquired the truck within the last few months and I need to be on the road driving my babies around. I love the truck andu problems with it sounds and drive like it's all a safety issue. Please let me know if these issues are covered to be fixed.

•available for inspection. Unknown exact system failure •issue regularly occurs •dealership service. Transmission had to be replaced at around 10k miles and covered by warranty. •no lights indicating any problems. Forward collision alert activated. Vehicle has a lag between the time pressure is applied to the gas pedal and it causes a delay in acceleration resulting in the vehicle sort of lunging forward unexpectedly. About 15-20 seconds after the gas pedal is pressed it will have a sudden burst of quick acceleration. It only lasts a few seconds and there’s no time to correct the sudden acceleration by braking. I finally realized the seriousness of the issue after I very close to being in an accident today as a result of the delayed acceleration. I was stopped at a red light and pressed the gas once it turned green, another driver happened to change lanes as soon as we crossed the intersection, moving to the front of my vehicle, probably closer than they should have but more than able for me to react under normal circumstances if needed. However, it occurred at the same time my vehicle randomly had a burst of acceleration and I had to swerve into the next lane to avoid hitting the car, because I wasn’t expecting to speed forward and did not have time to correct by braking. It happens about 40% of the time when going over 15-20mph (estimate) after I come to a complete stop and then press the gas to begin moving again. For example it won’t do it if I’m letting off the break to movie forward at a stop sign or lines, etc. It only happens when I accelerate with the intention of being able to reach the posted speed limit before I’d need to make another stop. Stop lights are the primary issue, as well as when exiting somewhere to get back onto the road, for example the gas station.

The backup camera has no guidelines. GM has a bulletin but no fix and has not issues a recall. Document ID is 6153943. My dealer has told me they cannot do anything. This is a brand new car! The contact owned a 2015 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, the contact fell asleep and rear-ended another vehicle causing a three-car chain reaction. The contact stated that the front end hit the other vehicle squarely on the rear bumper. The front bumper and hood were crushed back to both front tire wheel wells. The front passenger side tire had sheared off. The contact stated that both sets of air bags did not deploy. The contact stated that both her knees were bruised, also bruising on her chest, both arms, and a bruise under her right eye. Her passenger suffered bruising on his chest, both arms and knees. The contact had not received medical attention. The police were on the scene and filed a report. The vehicle was undrivable and towed to an impound lot. The contact was not aware of the condition of the other vehicles. The contact had been advised by her insurance provider that the vehicle was a total loss. The side view mirrors will randomly tilt to the sky or ground. Whatever it tilts to also becomes the saved position. The dealership has replaced the seat memory module, battery cables, fuse block and driver mirror. The dealership was unable to correct the issue and says there is nothing else they can do. The problem seems to occur wen the vehicle has been driving for 2 or more hours then goes away if the vehicle has sat for a few days.

I only had my 2022 Cadillac Escalade for 3 months and noticed black oil drippings in my garage. Took it to Cadillac dealership for inspection I was told it was a seal leaking. Within a month I noticed the same issue black oil drippings in the garage, but I also started to smell a burning smell. Call the dealership again to let them know I had the same issue again from a month earlier, the oil drippings in garage also the burning smell. I was told to bring the vehicle in. Started the vehicle the SERVICE TRANSMISSION LIGHT was on. Made it to the dealership, getting out my vehicle the burning smell I noticed before was more noticeable. Received a call I was told it was the DRIVESHAFT and the part is back ordered. Doing my on investigation reading the 2021 GMC's VEHICLES are RECALL for THE SAME ISSUE AND DRIVESHAFTS ARE BACK ORDERED

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V052000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that several appointments were scheduled with the dealer and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for recall repair; however, after the vehicle had remained at the dealer for a long period of time, the contact was informed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
