SummaryPre-Delivery Service (PDS) is a critical step in satisfying our new car customers. Customer feedback indicates the following areas deserve special attention when performing PDS: •Careful inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings. •Proper operation of electrical accessories (including interior light, clock, and radio reset). •Interior cleanliness. •Proper function of mechanical systems. Customer retention and proper maintenance of vehicles are, and have always been, a major focus for Toyota. To help remind customers that regular service is essential to the proper maintenance of the vehicle, dealers are required to install a service reminder sticker before delivery. By doing this, customers will be reminded to return to your dealership for service. Your current service reminder sticker may be used. (See PDS Check Sheet item 8 of “Final Inspection and Cleaning.”) This bulletin contains the PDS procedures that apply specifically to 2024 model year Tacoma Hybrid vehicles. Refer to T-SB-0029-23, the universal Check Sheet that contains PDS steps that apply to all 2024 model year Toyota vehicles. To properly perform a complete PDS, you must complete all procedures contained in this TSB as well as the universal PDS Check Sheet. In addition, if the vehicle is stored for over 30 days, refer to T-SB-0039-23, Long-Term Vehicle Storage Guidelines. REVISION NOTICE April 04, 2024 Rev1: •The Required Tools & Equipment section has been updated

SummaryTSB: Some 2018 ? 2022 model year Toyota vehicles equipped with a Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation System require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB flash drive to update the map, points of interest, and system software. The SST is used with applicable vehicles to deliver the update, however, the process for generating license keys differs from previous generations. Before attempting to perform a map update, the expiration date of the dynamic subscription (stored in the head unit), must be checked. If the expiration date has not passed, a license key may be generated without the purchase of an Activation Card Number (ACN). Updating the map without the use of an ACN is considered an Embedded Navigation Update (refer to pg. 10) and performing this update does not extend the subscription to dynamic map services. If the subscription period has expired, or is expiring within the next 90 days, it should be recommended to the customer to purchase an ACN. Utilizing an ACN, will initiate the Dynamic Navigation Update (refer to pg. 4). This Dynamic Navigation Update will perform the embedded navigation update and provide dynamic map services for a period of two years from the date that the Dynamic Navigation Update is performed. ACNs are provided in a pamphlet available through the normal parts ordering system. Follow the process in this bulletin to perform the update.

SummaryTSB: Hybrid vehicles (HV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV) are equipped with two types of batteries: ?Hybrid vehicle (HV) battery. ?Auxiliary (12V) battery. If a hybrid or battery electric vehicle is put into storage, the State-Of-Charge (SOC) of its HV battery and auxiliary battery will gradually decrease. To prevent the auxiliary battery from becoming discharged during storage, proper maintenance is necessary. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer?s responsibility to maintain the specified SOC of the vehicle?s battery while in stock and ensure proper SOC at delivery. Perform the following maintenance service for the HV battery and auxiliary battery.
