  MIL ON WITH DTC P0776, P1715 AND MAY HAVE HESITATION AND/OR LACK OF POWER This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON with DTC P0776 (PC SOLENOID B ? Pressure Control Solenoid ?B? Performance/Stuck OFF) stored. NOTE: - If P0744, P0746, P0841, P0965, P2813, or P17F0 are stored this bulletin does not apply. Refer to ASIST for diagnostic assistance. - With this incident, if it should occur, P1715 (INPUT SPEED SENSOR) may be stored with DTC P0776. The vehicle may also hesitate and/or have reduced power. ACTION 1. Refer to the Repair Flow Chart on page 2 for mechanical CVT repair. 2. If needed, reprogram the TCM. - Refer to step 30 in the TCM Reprogram section (page 21) of the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm if reprogramming is needed. 3. Perform Additional Service (page 19).

  Free Oil Change Specific Vehicles Subject to the Takata Recall *****Detailed Information***** To help accelerate repair completions on specific populations of vehicles recalled for the Takata airbag, Nissan is offering a special incentive for certain populations of affected vehicles for a limited time. The expiration date for this offer is December 31, 2018. Nissan is offering a complimentary oil change for participating customers free of charge. Nissan Consumer Affairs will be outreaching to these eligible owners directly, but dealers may also offer this incentive to eligible owners found on your retailed vehicle open campaign report if their VIN has PC650 or PC655 applied in Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Dealers should verify if vehicles are eligible for this complimentary oil change using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC650 or PC655. - The free oil change should only be performed if the Takata recall campaign has been performed first or at the same time as the oil change. NOTE: Customers should be informed that this free oil change offer is timelimited. Owners may redeem this free oil change offer at any point from the date of Takata repair until December 31, 2018. SERVICE COMM will be deactivated on January 1, 2019, and the offer will expire at that time. 2. The service department should submit the free oil change offer and Takata recall repairs as two separate campaign repair claims. Once the oil change claim has been submitted and paid, the offer will no longer display in Service Comm.

  SENTRA, VERSA SEDAN, AND VERSA NOTE; CVT FLUID LEAK SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION CVT related fluid leaks may be diagnosed incorrectly upon initial inspection causing incorrect parts replacement such as oil pan gaskets, axle seals, etc. To help reduce/eliminate the possible return of an applied vehicle, first check for leakage around the CVT fluid charging pipe. When leakage is determined to be coming from the base of the CVT fluid charging pipe, remove it to inspect, and if necessary, replace the O-ring. If needed, CVT leak inspection dye may be used to determine the source of the leak. - Refer to NTB09-140. See example photos on pages 2 and 3.

  2015 SENTRA; ENHANCED DIAGNOSTIC LOGIC FOR CVT IF YOU CONFIRM The customer reports a transmission judder (shake, shudder, single or multiple bumps or vibration), hesitation on acceleration, lack of power or RPM flare. NOTE: - A new diagnostic logic has been established to enhance the diagnostic process by storing a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) on Applied Vehicles. - New DTC: P17F0 (CVT_JUDDER [T/M INSPECTION]); P17F0 will not turn the MIL ON. - This new diagnostic logic will monitor conditions in the CVT while the customer is operating their vehicle in their usual daily drive patterns. - If P17F0 stores, refer to NTB17-034 for repair information. ACTION 1. Refer to page 4, step 6 in the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on. 2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the TCM (Transmission Control Module).
