My car is model CX-30 2024 and I bought it a week ago. The car was turned off with the doors open because I was cleaning it. When I wanted to start the car it gave me an error: “Keyless Entry System Malfunction, have the Vehicle Inspected”, also the start indicator light (amber) flashes. After this error message, I couldn't start the car. I called Mazda where I bought it and they told me to do several maneuvers with the key fob, I also tried with the other key fob and after doing thousands of maneuvers the car didn't turn on. They told me to call Mazda's Emergency Roadside Assistance to have them send the tow truck and leave the car in the Mazda workshop. More than 4 hours passed and the tow truck never arrived, I called Mazda roadside assistance again and they told me that there were no tow trucks available and that it would take another 4 or 5 hours to arrive (that is, around 4 in the morning). It was already midnight, it was cold and I had to leave my son alone at home because I couldn't leave the car in the street. I had to call another tow truck company that could assist me faster (they arrived in 30 minutes). I am completely frustrated and disappointed with the Mazda service because in the workshop they said that the key fob was in hibernation and that's why it wouldn't turn on. It's incredible that this happens with a completely new car (1 week old) and that the dealer says that the car doesn't have any problems. This represents a high risk and danger to anyone if the car suddenly doesn't start and there's no way for it to start. In addition, I had tow truck and Uber expenses to be able to transport myself. I urgently need to review this problem with Mazda, as there are no recalls and they do not respond to this problem.

I travelled to Phoenix for a concert and after the concert I was driving back to my hotel room. I was traveling on the freeway and I heard a popping sound like a gunshot was hitting my window. I slowed down and ducked, thankfully no traffic surrounding me, only behind me. No vehicles were in front of me, as it was late at night, only two vehicles behind me and no overpasses. I pulled off the road, and found that my sunroof had exploded. It seems like the glass had blown from the inside shooting outward. It was very scary and thankfully no vehicles or heavy traffic as it would have caused an accident if there was. I’m not sure how anything could have hit the window because there was no traffic and no one in front of me to kick up debris. I did google and see that pressure changes have been causing this to happen to other vehicles and the only thing I can think of is the pressure changes of traveling to a new city which is very hot and driving with my ac on for long period of time possibly caused the sunroof to explode. It is currently awaiting repair at my local Mazda dealership now. The vehicle is just under 2 years old and has no damage. I don’t currently have any invoices because it’s still waiting at my local dealership.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
When the cruise control is canceled and the speed has dropped more than a couple of MPH when it re-engages the accelerator goes full throttle just like you've mashed the pedal to the floor. Also when in an HOV lane with a dividing wall to the left and going around a highway curve it modulates brake/gas/brake/gas, etc. It will also occasionally pick up another vehicle on either side when on a highway curve and do the same thing. But it seems to operate properly in a straight line. I have spoken with Mazda Customer Service several times. The 1st case which was opened they never contacted me and closed the case. The 2nd time they have contacted me on several occasions but I don't seem to be getting their attention.

STEERING, STRUCTURE:INTERIOR PANELS:DASHBOARD
The steering wheel seems to prematurely wear on newer Mazda vehicles including my Mazda CX-30 from 2022. Mazda claims hand sanitizer to be the main culprit but I suspect quality issues and materials to play a factor. Many can be found with wear on the steering wheel even starting with less than 50 thousand miles. Some have received warranty claims while others are denied.

POWER TRAIN, ENGINE, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
While I was driving on I-90, I lost control of the acceleration of my vehicle. The vehicle was towed and has been diagnosed with a failed transmission! The car would not accelerate or it would accelerate in bursts or rapidly slow down. I was able to pull over and the car failed to move at all after. My safety and others was put at risk as I lost the ability to control the speed of the vehicle on a road where the speed limit is 65mph in traffic around me. When the problem began no lights illuminated, until ~30 seconds in the yellow engine failure light illuminated and then the yellow transmission failure light illuminated. The car was brought to a dealership for inspection and they diagnosed it as a transmission failure. This is unacceptable for such a young vehicle (2021). It should be noted that the car manufacturer immediately approved the replacement the same day it was diagnosed (dealership said it usually takes 48 hours), but the part is back-ordered for months (probably because they know this is happening and trying to cover it up).

Car lunged forward when lightly stepping on the gas while making a turn onto a busy street. Then it later lagged in responding when I stepped on the gas. About 5 minutes later, the car dashboard lit up and said there was a transmission error. Mechanic's diagnosis found code P0756 for a shift solenoid B stuck off. The car is unsafe to drive.

Low engine oil light is on again, I had one at 4600 miles and keep happening every 5-6000 miles. I had 7!! oil changes on a car that is 2.5 years old and it is at 29000 miles. I am sitting at the dealership and they are telling me nothing is wrong and despite of the valve stem cap replacement available they are not willing to replace it. In addition I had my battery die and needed to be replaced at 23 months after purchasing a brand new car - due to a faulty system. This is getting extremely upsetting. And dealearships do not care.

The contact owns a 2024 Mazda CX-30. The contact stated that the instrument panel was illuminated with several warning lights. The contact stated that the rearview camera and the cruise control failed to operate as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case regarding the failure. The failure mileage was 900.

The car has some .kind of Electric or electronic malfunction that drains the battery and kills it without giving you a warning. I have taking it to a Mazda Dealer to be fix 4 times and they don't seem to be able to fix it.The battery was replaced.twice one by me and the second time by the dealer in an attempt to solve the problem at some point. Unfortunately just yesterday it happened again it had to towed to the Mazda dealer again for the fifth time. I really hope a solution can be found.

SERVICE BRAKES
My brakes failed at a stop light. I was waiting at a red light waiting to get on the freeway . Brake was completely pressed, when my car started rolling forward. I kept trying to apply more force to brakes but was unable to stop the vehicle until it rolled into the car in front of me. I then had my car towed to Mazda and was told my accident was a result of human error. Inspection was done and no results were found. If my brakes had failed at any other moment my accident could have been deadly. There is a brake recall for my year make and model but my vin number is not yet apart of that recall. My car was barely a year since purchase I am the first owner .

The contact owns a 2023 Mazda CX-30. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds in the rain, the driver’s side windshield wiper failed to clear the water on the windshield. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, on several occasions, where it was diagnosed that the wiper blades and wiper arms needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted, and the contact was referred to the local dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

ENGINE
It has an oil consumption issue. Every 3,000-3,500 miles is will give the oil low light. It will be 1 quart low. The car takes 6 quarts of 5w30 synthetic oil and requires oil changes every 7,500-8,000 miles. I have had to put a quart in every time. I have taken it into the dealership and a third party oil service as well. The dealership has no idea why it keeps running through the oil. They state that it's a known issue but no recall.

The fuel gauge is non linear and erroneous. It is a safety issue because the level of fuel left is unpredictable and I have run out of gas in unfamiliar areas because of this.

The door locks and some of the settings like the lane departure & the blind spot monitoring all of a sudden do not work consisently. The door locks do not stay locked and lopen whilde driving or at night agter they have been locked. The setting are set for them tpo lock on their own-not consistent.
