Steering wheel sticks while driving took it to Honda and they claim they test drove it for 12 miles and found nothing wrong with it. I took home the car and it’s still Doing what I took it in for. The steering either over steers or under steers (not sure if I’m explaining it correctly) kind of like when lane assist is on.. the fight it gives you without indicating of a lane change well it does that at all times even when it is not on

My steering wheel is very sticky. It gets stuck when i’m driving and trying to turn. It is a safety concern because sometimes it is requires an effort for me to use my steering wheel when driving. my steering wheel has been assessed by Honda and they mentioned that it Hass to be replaced. However, since my car is out of warranty, I would have to pay for it or a portion of it. This should not be happening and it is a safety concern. Honda should offer a recall regarding this issue because a lot of vehicles are having this experience with their steering wheel.

Power steering locks up a bit after driving for 20-30 mins. The steering is notchy and hard to turn the wheels. Dealership said the power steering assembly needs replacement which is cover for 2017 and later. Not 2016. Even it’s the same generation and same symptoms. This is a safety issue and 2016 year model should be recalled as well.

The steering is sticky and have a hard time keeping in the middle of the lane without constant minor jerking. Very noticeable at high highway speeds above 40+ mph. This safety concern might cause over correcting in an emergency steering at highway speeds thus possibly losing control. I took it to the dealership and they said there was nothing wrong with the car. I let them know they were wrong. Technician test drove the car but never took it onto the highway.

- #11573821February 24, 2024FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
My vehicle has randomly had the emergency brake assist applied when there was nothing in front of me. Thankfully there were no vehicles behind me & the times that there were it was residential roads that are 25mph. If this continues to happen it could cause an accident, having my vehicle go from 45-55mph to a complete stop with zero warning & no ability to continue driving until the alert disappears from the dash is quite dangerous. I haven’t had my vehicle looked at yet as it’s not something I can easily replicate, but I’ve seen quite a few complaints about it happening so I figured I should report it as well.

Since purchasing the vehicle at around 35k miles there’s been an occasional clicking / knocking noise when turning. It’s not consistent, but it seems to be the start of the CV axle failing or something with the struts. I’m having the vehicle looked over, but again I’ve seen multiple complaints of this specific issue and wanted to report it. These parts should not be failing this early.

- #11573576February 23, 2024FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
I received a recall notice for the fuel pump module. The Safety Consequence in the recall notice says the following: An inoperable fuel pump could prevent an engine from starting, cause a vehicle to lose drive power, or stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. The replacement parts needed to repair your vehicle are not currently available but are expected to become available in the fall of 2024. I should be entitled to a loaner car until the part becomes available and is fixed. If my car stalled while making a left turn in an intersection could be deadly. I called the Honda Motor Company and they reiterated the same information in the recall notice. So, no help there.

This vehicle has sticky steering. The effort needed to turn the steering wheel intermittently increases, so you have to pull the wheel harder to get it to move, and then it turns too far. This issue is dangerous at highway speeds and extremely annoying at slow speeds. This issue is unrelated to the current active recall for the steering rack. This issue has been reported and discussed by many drivers in online forums and may be related to the worm gear in the steering gear box. I experience this sticky steering problem at all speeds, temperatures, and lengths of time driving. I purchased my vehicle new 13 months ago and it has 6,700 miles on it.

The steering wheel has been sticking when turning left and right, resulting in a not smooth turn. The steering wheel also sticks when making minor adjustments to direction while driving straight. Most noticeable at highway speeds of 65+mph This has happened every time I've driven the car for the past few months. I took it to Honda this week, 2/19/24 and they stated they could not replicate it, but one tech/service advisor did note that they did feel some stiffness Honda states they recalibrated the steering wheel

Having problems with the steering wheel, while driving my car, the steering wheel gets stiff and it is hard to maneuver causing the vehicle to pull. I feel very unsafe driving my vehicle on the road. I received a recall noticed, therefore I took my car to dealership but was informed that my car was not under recall, but was informed that I needed to replace the steering gearbox. I don't understand why my vehicle doesn't show as having a recall if I am having the same issue mentioned on the current steering rack recall. I have been waiting for my car to get fixed for over a month; the dealership is waiting for parts. Meanwhile I have to drive my vehicle with this problem because the dealership will not provide a rental due to vehicle's recall status.
