Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles. Water and road salt may corrode the front seat belt anchor pretensioner cables.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles. The rearview camera wiring may be loose or damaged, which can result in a blank or distorted image.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2014-2015 Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, and 2015 Mustang vehicles originally sold or ever registered, in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Hawaii. Exposure to certain environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, high humidity, and salt air can cause the brake pedal bumper to corrode and separate from the brake pedal.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Fiesta, 2013-2014 Fusion, 2015 Mustang, 2013-2015 Escape and C-Max, 2012-2015 Focus, 2014-2016 Transit Connect, 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ, and 2015 MKC vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and repaired under recalls 15V-246, 16V-643 or 17V-210, however the repair may not have been completed properly. A component within the door latches may break making the doors difficult to latch and/or leading the driver or a passenger to believe a door is securely closed when, in fact, it is not.
While driving my 2015 Ford Mustang at low speed on a city road, I attempted to activate the hazard warning lights. Because the engine Start/Stop button is located close to the hazard light controls, I accidentally pressed the ignition button instead. I pressed the button only briefly, without holding it down or pressing it multiple times. The engine immediately shut off while the vehicle was still moving. This presents a serious safety concern because an inadvertent, momentary button press can disable the engine during normal driving, potentially reducing steering and braking assistance and increasing the risk of a collision. I believe the placement of the ignition button and the system's response to a brief accidental press warrant a safety investigation.

Safety Recall 22S06 – Incomplete/Failed Recall Repair and Refusal of Coverage Under Ford Recall 22S06, my vehicle was brought to an authorized Ford dealership approximately 3 years ago to address the known rear-view camera harness chafing defect. Rather than replacing the damaged component, the dealership performed a temporary patch repair by wrapping the chafed decklid wiring harness in electrical tape. This temporary repair has now completely failed. The rear-view camera screen displays a blank black screen or "Camera Unavailable" warning while the vehicle is in reverse, eliminating all rear visual awareness and recreating the precise safety hazard targeted by Recall 22S06. I contacted an authorized Ford dealership to have the failed recall harness addressed. The dealership refused to inspect or service the failed recall component unless I agreed to pay an out-of-pocket diagnostic fee. I subsequently escalated the issue to Ford Customer Relationship Center. Ford Corporate refused to offer goodwill assistance, clear the diagnostic requirement, or honor the completion of the recall remedy free of charge. The total loss of the rear-view camera image significantly reduces rearward visibility, creating an immediate safety risk of backover crashes involving pedestrians, children, or property. Because the manufacturer’s initial remedy failed and both corporate and dealer levels refuse free-of-charge remediation, the vehicle remains in a non-compliant, unsafe state. I request that the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation document this failure as an inadequate/incomplete recall remedy under Campaign 22S06 and compel the manufacturer to perform a complete harness replacement at no cost. Thank you

While making a slow turn I heard a popping noise then the steering locked up completely. I shit the car off and started it again to regain steering and get the car home. I used FORSCAn to retrieve codes U0401 and U0415 for the PSCM, both codes have same time frame. This indicates the PSCM lost communication with multiple modules at the same time during a low-speed turn, resulting in loss of power steering assist / steering lock. This is a safety issue as described in Ford Recall 19S26, but my VIN does not show this recall as applicable. Vehicle has not been repaired. Codes have not been cleared and are available for inspection.

Clutch assembly failed, the metal bracket weld cracked/failed resulting in the clutch pedal being inoperable. It's not available for inspection since I had it replaced and the defective assembly disposed of. My safety was at risk since I had extreme difficulty shifting gears on the road. The issue was confirmed at an independent service center - AAMCO of Huntsville, AL. No other entity inspected the part. The vehicle gave me no warning or indication of a problem other than the difficulty with starting and operating it.

I am filing a formal safety complaint regarding a catastrophic Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) failure and severe electrical short circuit on my 2015 Ford Mustang. This vehicle is exhibiting hard fault code B137F:09 (Steering Wheel Left Switch Pack: Component Failure / Short to Ground or Open). This electronic failure creates an immediate, severe safety hazard that goes entirely outside the scope of normal vehicle wear and tear. While driving, the vehicle's steering wheel pulls and jerks violently on its own, actively fighting my manual steering inputs. Furthermore, this internal electronic short creates a massive parasitic electrical draw that prevents the vehicle's computer modules from entering sleep mode when turned off. This has resulted in the primary vehicle battery draining completely flat and causing the vehicle to completely shut down, stall, or lose total electrical power altogether. A vehicle that forcefully steers itself away from the intended path of travel and suffers total electrical shutdown is a clear, life-threatening safety risk to myself and others on the road. Ford Motor Company is fully aware of this dangerous defect. They previously issued Safety Recall 15S18 for a very specific, limited batch of early-production 2015 Mustangs experiencing identical EPAS failures, replacing their steering gears for free. For the remaining 2015 Mustang owners experiencing the exact same hazardous failure, Ford quietly shifted the issue over to a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB / SSM 51312). By limiting the scope of Recall 15S18 purely due to the financial cost of a universal recall, Ford has left an entire population of 2015 Mustang owners in direct harm's way. Some owners received a free lifetime safety fix, while the rest of us are being forced to pay thousands of dollars out-of-pocket to correct an identical factory electronic defect. I request that the NHTSA immediately open an investigation into Ford's handling of the 2015 Mustang EPAS and more.
