In addition, the following fault memory entries are saved in the CCU (Combined Charging Unit) 0317F2 - High-voltage system, insulation fault detected: when switch contactors are closed. 0317F1 - High-voltage system, insulation resistance below warning threshold: when switch contactors are closed. The fault memory entries (isolation faults) can occur both individually and in combination and must be traced back to the eDrive motor based on the ISTA test procedure. If ISTA test procedure lists possible cause of fault as; A metal chip is found behind the brush module (between the brush module and the end shield of the electrical machine). Repair required. It serves as a supporting argument and is intended to help distinguish between a standard designed function or component operation from an actual system fault in a DC charging customer complaint (i.e., âÂÂDC Not charging or âÂÂDC charging too slowâÂÂ. Helpful âÂÂTips and Tricksâ have been included on each topic within the document that can be used as reference to aid in the diagnosis or in understanding the system. The situation involves several possible causes: 1. Limitation of charging power by the charging station or charging app configuration. 2. Decreasing charging power at a very high state of charge (SoC). 3. Too frequent DC charging attempts within a short period of time. 4. The high-voltage battery is not at the ideal temperature. 5. Ageing of the high-voltage battery.

Summary?BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective July 12, 2023) on certain Model Year 2023 - 2024 BMW vehicles that were produced between July 21, 2022, and July 11, 2023. A software logic error in the diagnostic module for tank leaks (DMTL) could cause the Service Engine Soon light (MIL) to not turn on when there is an electrical fault with pump or diverter valve for the DMTL even after several driving cycles with the fault/s being currently present.
