Understanding the Audi Alternator Loaner Support Program

Audi has implemented an "Alternator Loaner Support Program" to assist customers experiencing issues due to alternator back-orders. This program applies to all model years of affected vehicles, regardless of whether they are still under warranty. The primary goal is to provide support during potential service delays.

Customers whose vehicles are impacted by an alternator back-order may also be eligible for a $2,000 incentive. This incentive can be applied towards the purchase or lease of a new Audi vehicle. This offer is incremental, meaning it can be combined with other eligible incentives currently available in the market. For full details on this program, owners and dealers should refer to bulletin A22UCOP2.

2023 Audi Care Program Pricing and Incentives

Audi has announced changes to the 2023 Audi Care Program and its associated Incentive Payout Plan, effective January 5, 2023. These updates apply to all model year vehicles. The communication includes detailed pricing tables for various Audi Care plans, including Standard, Select, and Lease Plans, categorized by vehicle tiers such as Basic, Standard, e-tron, and Premium models.

For example, a Basic Audi Care Standard plan for models like the A3, S3, or Q3 is priced at $1,099 for the customer, with a $75 dealer margin. The Audi Care Incentive Program offers a $25 spiff per contract sold, paid to the contract seller via their Audi debit card. To be eligible for this incentive, contract sellers must be registered, active users of the Audi Academy CRC (Certification Resource Center) and complete all required training courses.

Important warning: "Pricing changes cannot be made to previously sold or committed contracts."

Elsa2Go and Universal Pricing Guide (UPG)

Audi has kicked off 2023 with updates to Elsa2Go and the Universal Pricing Guide (UPG). Elsa2Go is a multi-platform digital service tool designed for advisors and technicians. It consolidates information typically found in ElsaPro, offering features like automatic warranty calculations, i-Wire, Audi Care Plan information, and DMS integration with systems like CDK and Dealertrack.

Elsa2Go also integrates the UPG, providing comprehensive information at a glance to support the service core process. It is accessible on any tablet (Android and iOS) or desktop computer via Chrome and Firefox browsers. Access methods include assigning an Elsa2Go Role, web browser access via iAudi, and tablet app downloads. Reference materials, including training courses, user guides, and FAQs, are available in the Elsa2Go Help Section.

2023 Audi Twin Cup Competition

The annual Audi Twin Cup Challenge has begun for 2023, inviting Audi Technicians, Shop Foremen, Service Advisors, Brand Specialists, and Technologists to compete. Round 1 testing was available from January 9th to January 29th, 2023. Participants can earn bonus points by completing testing early in the competition window. The challenge offers prizes for completing rounds, in-person National Finals, and the opportunity for Technicians/Shop Foremen to earn Audi Diagnostic Technician (ADT) certification. Finalists will advance to the National Finals to compete for the title of National Champion and represent Team USA at the 2023 Twin Cup World Championship in Europe.

Audi Elite Incentive Program

Throughout 2023, Parts Managers, Service Managers, and Service Consultants have the opportunity to participate in the Audi Elite Incentive. This program allows them to compete for Audi Elite status and earn quarterly rewards and year-end grand prizes. The incentive period runs from January 1st to December 31st.

Tire Sales Programs and Rebates

Audi is offering several programs related to tire sales and reconditioning:

  • IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge: From January 1st to March 31st, 2023, Parts Managers and Service Managers who purchase and sell eligible OEM, OEA, and WIN Michelin tires have a chance to win a trip to the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California.
  • $100 Instant Rebate: During January 2023, customers could save $100 instantly on a set of four eligible Bridgestone, Michelin, or Pirelli OEM, OEA, and WIN tires. Tires had to be installed by February 7, 2023, and dealers could claim reimbursement online.
  • CPO Rebates: Dealers can reduce reconditioning costs on Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles by purchasing and installing select OEM and OEA tires. Rebates ranging from $5 to $15 per eligible tire are available, and these tires come with complimentary 24-month road hazard coverage for customers. Details are available via the CPO Tire Rebates link in the Realize Program benefits section of Audi Tire Center through AccessAudi.com.
