Prerequisites for Flashing

Before initiating the software update, several conditions must be met:

• The driver's door must remain open throughout the flashing procedure. Diagnostic interface cables should not be routed through the window, as window regulators will be initialized later.
• Activate privacy mode (mobile data off).
• Switch off background lighting in the HMI to prevent negative interference.
• Only one vehicle key should be inside the vehicle. For Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron (PPE), the key must be placed on the hazard warning lights switch. For Audi A5, Q5, and A6 (PPC), it must be on the reader coil.
