WhenThe truck is on cruise control and there is a need to pass a vehicle in the freeway; I lightly accelerate push the pedal then there is no response ( the vehicle hesitates for a second or two) ; and suddenly the engine revs up (and jerks the truck) and slams the transmission to start accelerating. I looked up this issue and realized that may be a common issue. this has happened in several occasions since I bought the truck last year, I drive my truck very carefully. I will bring this issue to the attention of the dealer.

I am experiencing premature and uneven tire wear on my 2024 Toyota Tundra, specifically on the outer edges of the front tires. This has occurred despite proper rotation and no off-road use, the tires showed significant edge wear. Multiple alignment checks revealed improper front end camber and Toe settings, which appear to be part of a wider issue affecting many 2022-2024 Tundra's, especially 4WD models. Toyota has not issued a recall but has quietly revised alignment specifications at the dealer level to address the problem. This defect compromises tire life, vehicle handling, and potentially safety. I believe this issue should be formally investigated and addressed by the NHTSA.

While on vacation, approximately 400 miles from home, the engine dash light came on. The truck seem to be running fine but I did notice a different smell coming from the exhaust. I was able to return home and took it to the dealership as soon as possible. The dealership, Stephen Wade Toyota, contacted me and said that my driver side Cadillac converter had gone bad. They had no explanation of why it went out, but I would need a new one at $2,143.15. I asked if the Cadillac converter was covered under any type of warranty and the dealership informed me that in Utah it expired at 35,000 miles. Truck has 66,000 miles and regular maintenance has been performed on the vehicle. It seems extremely premature that a 2 year old vehicle with 65,000 miles would be experiencing a Cadillac converter failure.

- #11668206June 20, 2025VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Speedometer and associated systems and controls are inaccurate by margin of 18% (9mph @ 55 mph) Speedometer reports speed of 55 mph when truck is traveling at gps tracked speed of 64 mph. Without an accurate speed reading, it's easy to accidentally speed, especially in areas where the speed limit frequently changes. Speeding increases your stopping distance and reduces the time you have to react to unexpected events, significantly raising the risk of an accident Inaccurate Distance Tracking Your speedometer is often linked to your odometer, which tracks the distance your vehicle has traveled. A faulty speedometer can lead to inaccurate mileage readings, which might affect your vehicle's maintenance schedule. If your odometer isn't tracking miles correctly, you might miss crucial maintenance milestones like oil changes, tire rotations, or other essential services. Fuel Efficiency Issues A malfunctioning speedometer can also impact your ability to monitor and maintain fuel efficiency. Without accurate speed data, you may find it difficult to optimize your driving habits for better fuel economy. This can lead to increased fuel consumption and higher operating costs over time. Legal and Insurance Complications In the event of an accident, a faulty speedometer can create legal and insurance challenges. If you can't accurately prove your speed at the time of an incident, it could complicate the process of determining fault. This is particularly problematic in accidents where speed is a critical factor. This problem was reported to Anderson Toyota dealership and Toyota corporate customer care

P265/60/R20. All wheels are worn severely on outer wheels. One wheel is so severely worn on outer edge it’s into the secondary rubber and I was told it wasn’t safe to drive… Dealership said that it wasn’t safe to drive long distances that it could blow apart… as of know no one had admitted fault and they expect me to cover costs. Truck is 2023 with 19,500 miles on it. Pictures show the worst tire but all of the tires are wearing the same with the outer edge worn severely.

I took my truck to the dealership of Toyota in Riverside, CA and the staff there told me there was no recall for my vehicle. Can you please verify if my vehicle is under warranty? I also went to the smog inspection and told them about my situation and they said my vehicle may not be under recall since sometimes certain vehicles under the same year are grouped together with a specific recall.

Driving 35 milers per hour down side road with no cars in front or behind us, and no cars passing us. The sunpanel burst and shattered into thousands of pieces .There was glass stuck into metal bar in rear, that’s how strong the explosion was. Pictures provided. I can confirm there was no chip in sunpanel prior to this happening. This is a huge safety issue. If the cloth panel was pulled back exposing the glass into the vehicle we would have glass stuck or embedded in our heads and we could have caused a major accident. The loud noise sounded like a gun shot and the driver swerved the car and slammed on the breaks because the sound was so loud.
