  Diagnosing A Urea Module That Is Exposed To Diesel Fuel This bulletin involves discussing what will happen to the rubber material used in the urea pump when exposed to diesel fuel. This unit is sometimes referred to as the Selective Catalyst Reductant (SCR) module or the Adblue Delivery Module (ADM). Units exposed to hydrocarbons have a particular failure mode, the rubber heater unit is crinkled and in some cases the metal heater protrudes through the rubber membrane. The rubber material used in this unit is designed to withstand Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) only. Exposure to fluids that contain hydrocarbons (i.e. diesel fuel) will damage the unit beyond repair. Units returned that exhibit this failure mode will have warranty claims that are rejected. Units that exhibit this failure mode should be considered customer abuse and should not be covered under warranty. Use the Hydroscopic test paper (P/N 223-44-863) available through MoparEssentialTools.com to confirm exposure.

  Power Fold Rearview Mirror Prior to replacing this part for a loose mirror, please first follow this procedure to reset the pivot mechanism. Move the mirror to its full forward position and then to full retract position using the power fold mirror button located on drivers side door panel. Perform this procedure three times. If this doesn't resolve the issue, then repair as necessary.~ Note: 1- The looseness of power fold mirror does not necessary indicate a defective mirror, it may be caused by folding it manually rather than using the power fold feature. If the mirror is adjusted manually out of the proper detent, always use the button to adjust it back into sync.~ 2- The intended use of the power fold mirrors is by pushing the button to fold and unfold the mirror. Only manually fold the mirrors when absolutely necessary.~ 3- In the circumstance where the left hand mirror and right hand mirror are in different positions, it may take up to three cycles (bottom pushes) to re-sync the mirrors together.

  Flash: 6.7L Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module (ECM/PCM) with the latest available software. The following DTCs have been changed from a one trip fault to a two trip fault: · P0421 - Catalyst 1 Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1. · P2280 - Air Flow Restriction / Leak Between Air Cleaner And MAF. · P203C - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Low. · P208D - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Pump Control Circuit High. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation a technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: · **P0128 - Thermostat Rationality Improvements.** · P2281 - Air Leak Between MAF and Throttle Body. · P218F - Reductant No Flow Detected. · P0218 - Transmission High Temperature Operation Activated (68RFE Only). · P0868 - Line Pressure Low, MIL Action (68RFE Only). · U110E - Lost Ambient Temperature Message. · P205E - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Tank Temperature Sensor Circuit Intermittent (setting when the block heater is plugged in). In addition to addressing the above DTCs, the following powertrain system improvements/enhancements are also included in this software release: · **Engine Noise Improvements. · Engine Hesitation Improvement. · Improved Engine Fuel Economy.** · Reduction in engine noise during regeneration at idle. · 68RFE Transmission Overall Shift Quality Improvements. · Test results fix for partial range misfire (68RFE Only). · Ambient Air Temperature Improvements. · Stationary Desoot with wiTECH Fix. · OBD Misfire Monitoring Improvement (68RFE Only).
