The check engine lamp light came on and vehicles current shift lamps not visible. Vehicle began to slip gears and Rev at high rpm. Risk of taking kids to school and myself to work was resolved by parking the car back in driveway. The car diagnostic machine put out code P0705 Transmission Range Sensor A Circuit. Also our vehicle is available for further inspection.

AIR BAGS
Airbag light keeps blinking. Came on for no reason, won't turn off. Yes It is available for inspection. My safety is as risk if the airbag employs. No I'm not aware of problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No the vehicle or component has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. Warning light appeared on the Jan 28th 2023 and is still blinking when I turn car on.

Sometimes when starting my car 3 lights illuminate the ABS, Forward Collision Warning, and the Parking Collision Warning. When this happens my car will not accelerate. It will not move when gas is applied or it moves very slowly. This happens in drive and reverse. It happens at random times and it has almost caused me to get hit when I attempted to pull out of a parking lot and my car all of a sudden would not move.

2019 Nissan Versa sedan has a transmission issue where you stop and immediately or within up to 3 seconds, there is a clunk. The engine is jumps forward, causing the engine to rock. In a range of years, up to 2017, there is a recall on the transmission. For 2018, which is just for that year, is a recall for that transmission. How can I find out if 2019 recall is in a preliminary stage at nissan and will be released later this year? I feel it's a safety issue because the transmission can stop working while I'm on the highway which could cause an accident at high speeds. The mechanic at dealership said that they do not get any codes when there is an issue within CVT Type transmission. He stated basically there are no way to open transmission, to exchange parts, due to, no codes for inside of transmission. He stated Nissan Altima transmission was fixed for the year 2019. Then the made the fixes for 2019 versa. Seeing the pattern with 201? To 2017, & 2018 recall on transmission

Fuel pump failed with no notice while traveling on the interstate causing the engine to stop running. I was lucky that I was able to coast off the highway on to the shoulder. This occurred at night on a section of I-10 with a 75 MPH speed limit. If I had not been able to limp off the highway it would have been very dangerous. My Nissan Versa only has 75,000 miles and is well maintained. No warning lights or OBD codes were present before or after the failure. Replacing the fuel pump assembly fixed the problem.

When vehicle is engaged into gear it won’t move or moves very slowly. As I turn on my car and change the gear into drive or reverse and I accelerate the car won’t move at all. I’ve had this happen many times either after I’m moving from a parked spot or after stopping at a red light. My car was inspected and they told me it was fine nothing was wrong. But the very next it happened again. My safety was put at risk because my car won’t accelerate in the middle of traffic or roads where I could get hit by another vehicle. There are currently no warning lamps or messages that are on my dashboard and there are no codes on my car was well the mechanics have said there is nothing they can find wrong with my car. It also happens at very random times making it unpredictable and dangerous. The latest incident occurred 01/05/23 but it has happened multiple times before that.

Transmission failed 2x within 6 months extended warranty was 5k miles past 130k max mileage coverage 2nd transmission went out going 20 mph and revved up to 25mph and transmission failed. 1st time it went out I was in Cleveland on a busy road making a turn and transmission went out. Cars were beeping behind me. Issue is unknown as to why transmission keeps going out but is a safety issue. 2nd transmission was used with only 30-40k miles on it.

The vehicle was taken to a transmission specialist where it was diagnosed that an unknown sensor needed to be replaced. The sensor was replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the transmission specialist where it was diagnosed that an unknown sensor needed to be replace. The unknown sensor and battery were replaced; however, the failure recurred. The contact then stated that her son had to jump start the vehicle multiple times before the vehicle started. The contact stated that she notified the mechanic at the transmission specialist where it was determined to be an electrical failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 62,606.

Seatbelt on driver's side didn't lock. Seatbelt on passenger side did lock no one riding there. A deer jumped right in front of me going 55mph air came out but I didn't get any powder burns and seatbelt pulled all the way out. I'm a small woman lucky I didn't go through the windshield.

Driver lost control of vehicle and slid along fence to hit a tree stump. Driver airbags went off in time and driver was unscathed. Passenger remembers seeing tree hit car (vision was not obscured by deployed airbag). Passenger was seriously injured and needed airlift to local trauma center. Car was hauled by H&H towing of Gunnison, CO No lights prior to accident. No inspection by manufacturer. No confirmed reproduction by dealer/service center. Attached are police report and detailed report from driver, explaining scenario and injuries sustained.
