ACTION 1. Confirm the current TCM part number. 2. Reprogram the TCM, if applicable. 3. Drive the vehicle and complete a transmission drive cycle. 4. ACTION 1. Test the vehicleâs 12 volt battery using the Midtronics DSS-5000. Recharge or replace the battery if necessary. 2. Erase all DTCs.

Summary2020-2021 TITAN AND TITAN XD; FALSE MAINTENANCE ALERT NOTIFICATION HINT: The APPLIED VEHICLES are equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). With an active NissanConnect Services⢠subscription, the TCU communicates with the Nissan Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. To determine if a vehicle is equipped with a TCU, look for the SOS button near the overhead map lamp. IF YOU CONFIRM The customer receives a Maintenance Alert from NissanConnect Services notifying them that the oil pressure warning light is on or that the service engine warning light is on, AND there are no warning lights ON in the instrument panel, AND there are no related DTCs stored. ACTION Update the TCU to the latest software version.

Summary2020-2021 TITAN AND TITAN XD; AV CONTROL UNIT REPLACEMENT PROCESS IF YOU CONFIRM The AV control unit needs to be replaced on an APPLIED VEHICLE. ACTION IMPORTANT: The AV control unit for the Applied Vehicle is new, different from the previous model year, and requires a new procedure when replacing. If the following steps are not followed completely, all features will not work as intended. 1. Read and save the VIN 2. Read and save the configuration 3. Replace the AV control unit 4. Reprogram the AV control unit 5. Configure the AV control unit 6. Write the VIN to the AV control unit IMPORTANT: Procedures 4-6 above must be performed in the order shown below.
