The passenger side airbag occupancy sensor is not working and therefore the airbag will not work. This is the same issue with other Nissan Rogue’s and a recall in this same year and yet our VIN is not included. It is very likely that cars have been missed on this recall as there is no other reason for this part to not be working.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
In the past two weeks my emergency braking system warned me and slightly breaker when I was driving uphill with no obstacles in my path. Now my front safety aids don’t work at all. No emergency breaking, no lane departure or lane recognition. The dealership has worked on it twice, now going in for a third time next Monday. It’s dangerous and it keeps glitching, going on and off randomly.

I had a terrible scare last Tuesday morning around 8:30 or 9 on September 13, 2022. I was driving along the hwy going about 35 to 40 mph when my car came to a hard sudden stop in the road I was so scared luckily nobody was behind me or it could have been an accident. couple days later I took it to Fred Anderson Nissan Dealership to get serviced, and the mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with it. I had this car for 2 months and I am afraid to drive it but I don't have another vehicle and I have to get to work. Also I travel on I-40 HWY frequently and I pray to God that it does'nt happen while I'm driving the speed limit which is 60-65. Please contact the dealership and see if they can resolve the problem before its too late. Thanks for your concern.

While driving the vehicle at average highway speeds for over one hour approximately, the CVT transmission fluid overheats, and an engine code PO744 is set. This code is followed by reduction in engine power and speed limited to a safe mode of 25 mph. The danger of being rear-ended while attempting to safely exit the freeways here in California is high. This has happened multiple times on different roadways, uphill, downhill, and through the desert Nissan has many technical service bulletins, but no recalls. A CVT for this 2010 is $4000 or more, later models received a CVT fluid cooler, this year it's almost $1400 to install with no hopes the CVT will hold up.

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 MPH and stopping for a traffic light, the vehicle stalled and then lunged forward. The contact depressed the brake pedal and stopped the vehicle. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle; however, the failure continued with the vehicle lunging while depressing the accelerator. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact towed the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.

2019 Rogue has around 40k miles. Rear brakes wore through to metal backers at approx 30k miles making it necessary to to replace pads and rotors. I am now replacing brakes again. The dealer refused warranty and said rapid wear is normal for these cars, with some wearing out in as little as 10k miles.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, SEAT BELTS, STRUCTURE:BODY
We have a 2016 Nissan Rogue that is under the Recall ID. 22V-024. We have the water damage and that caused the wiring harness to malfunction. Nissan Dealership fixed the Harness problem but not fix the cause of this happening. We are getting water seeping up from the Drivers side floor. I Shop Vac and use a fan to dry it out but the water returns. On the recall letter from Nissan it states in Bold lettering #1 " Please stop driving your vehicle immediately and call Nissan." #2 "Park your vehicles outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures."By not fixing the root cause of the problem the harness will malfunction again which could lead to a fire inside the vehicle which is quite a safety issue. Nissan is aware of this problem but is refusing to fix the problem. Nissan Dealership had this vehicle in there possession for 5 weeks in July, 20222, into August, 2022,

The passenger side airbag light never goes off no matter who is sitting in the seat I think the weight sensor in the seat is broken. I just noticed that the light wasn't off when I had an adult in the passenger seat one day and still is the same. The light is sopost to go off if someone is in the seat. The light has been like this for over a year now.

SERVICE BRAKES
When trying to start the car I had to push the Brakes almost to the floor to get it to start. THEY WERE EXTREMELY SOFT TO GET IT TO START THE ENGINE AND THEN THEY WERE GOING TO THE FLOOR BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. THEY ARE ALMOST TO THE FLOOR WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR STOPPING. Then while I was driving to pick up my prescriptions and approaching a Stop Sign, then 3 Stop Lights or approaching a vehicle that is already stopped in front of me my brakes are extremely soft and do not engage. They almost go to the floor. The car does not immediately slow down or come to a stop. I have to keep pumping the brakes and even then they were Extremely soft and went almost to the floor before Stopping. I have small feet Size 6-7 and One time my foot slid under the pedal. I had to use the Parking brake at the Stop Sign and the Stop Lights to feel comfortable enough that I would not move forward and be sure I that I came a full Stop. I pulled into a McDonalds Parking Lot less than a mile from my home to see if I turn off the car it will reset the brakes and it did not work. I called Elevated Nissan in Merriam, Kansas which is the Dealership I purchased it from (less than another Mile away from the McDonalds) they were closing in 25 minutes, so I drove less than 5 mph to get there and dropped off the vehicle. I showed [XXX] in service how they would go to the floor. He called me the next morning and after the vehicle sitting in the shop all night long the brakes engaged in a normal fashion the next day. They are trying to find out what is causing them to go soft. These Brakes can cause a Serious Catastrophe resulting in injury or worse. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The automatic emergency braking has activated randomly while in reverse and in drive on many occasions. These instances have almost gotten my hit while on the interstate as well as other busy highways in Fort Lauderdale. The car has been inspected on multiple occasions by Nissan and they have been unable to fix it and merely suggest turning off this feature. The front braking sensors have malfunctioned and I have the warning notifications. The radio unit continues to go blank without any warning and Nissan is unable to determine why this happens. They have added an update from the Nissan Sentra Recall for the same issue, but it has not been rectified. I have several videos and photos of the incidents, however the file types are not supported on this website.
