SummaryCOMBINATION METERS CANNOT BE SWAPPED SERVICE INFORMATION Do not swap combination meter modules between vehicles for any reason in the APPLIED VEHICLES. Due to a new electrical architecture, the vehicle mileage is now stored in multiple control modules. When a mileage difference is detected between modules, the module with the lower value will be immediately overwritten, replacing it with the higher mileage. If a new combination meter module is installed, it will automatically be overwritten to the correct vehicle mileage.

SummaryExpiration Notification â Wheel Valve Stem Nut ***** Campaign Summary***** In 2009, Nissan launched a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain 2008-2009 Rogue, 2009 Murano, and 2009 cube® vehicles registered in states that do not use heavy concentrations of road salt in the winter, to replace the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) nut with new, more corrosion resistant ones. Nissan determined the material used in the nut on the Rogue, cube®, and Murano that secures the TPMS sensor to the wheel was not manufactured to specification and may corrode and potentially crack if driven regularly in areas where a heavy concentration of road salt is used. If this occurs, the nut may come out of the sensor causing the TPMS lamp to illuminate. If the TPMS lamp is disregarded, and the vehicle continues to be driven in this condition, the tire can quickly lose air pressure resulting in a flat tire. This customer service campaign and customer reimbursement for these repairs are no longer available. The expiration of this Voluntary Service Campaign has no effect on the status of Voluntary Safety Recall R0909. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Service Comm will deactivate P9241 on any unrepaired VINs on May 13, 2021. No further dealer action is required.

Summary2018-2021 LEAF AND 2017-2020 ROGUE; STEERING WHEEL CHROME FINISHER REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION If the chrome finisher on the steering wheel needs to be replaced, the chrome finisher can be ordered separately from the steering wheel. SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Remove the driver side air bag module. ï· For removal of the driver side air bag module, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section REPAIR â RESTRAINTS â SRS AIRBAG â REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION â DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE. NOTE: ï· When removing the chrome finisher from the steering wheel, reference Figure 2 for the 6 attachment points. ï· During removal of the chrome finisher (step 2 on page 3), pull on the chrome finisher just enough to release the pawls from the steering wheel.

Summary2019-2021 ALTIMA AND 2021 ROGUE; AC INOPERATIVE WITH DTC B20C8-14 STORED IF YOU CONFIRM The AC compressor is not engaging when the AC is in the ON position as indicated by the yellow illumination on the AC button, And DTC B20C8-14 ECV (ELECTRICAL CONTROL VALVE) is stored in the IPDM. SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Clear the DTC, and follow the DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE in the ESM. ï· If DTC B20C8-14 is past, AC compressor operation is inhibited until the DTC is cleared. ï· If DTC B20C8-14 returns after being cleared (either Current or Past status), follow the ESM diagnosis procedure. ï For models with Automatic Air Conditioning, go to section: VENTILATION, HEATER & AIR CONDITIONER > HEATER & AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL SYSTEM > AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING > DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS > B20C8-14 ECV (ELECTRICAL CONTROL VALVE). ï For models with Manual Air Conditioning, go to section: VENTILATION, HEATER & AIR CONDITIONER > HEATER & AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL SYSTEM > MANUAL AIR CONDITIONING > DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS > B20C8-14 ECV (ELECTRICAL CONTROL VALVE).
