  Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY22-24 C-Class, AMG GT, AMG SL (206, 192, 232 platform) vehicles, the electric engine mount control unit software does not correspond to the latest series production configuration. In this case, a short circuit may be incorrectly detected, and the engine mounts can de-energize. This in turn could lead to changes in the vehicle’s dynamics and noise complaints from the customer. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the electric engine mount control unit software.

There is a fault in the data memory. with fault freeze frame data "Mon_ID 320" in the "stored" status stored in the fault memory of control unit N68. Faults occur in the event of a software update or when initializing the control unit for the electric power steering N68. The fault code can be ignored and the fault memory of the control unit for the electric power steering N68 can be deleted. It is not necessary to replace the electric power steering.

  In our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to enhance the satisfaction of our customers, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC ("MBUSA") is extending the warranty coverage on the engine thermostat (including software update) installed in certain Model Year ("MY") vehicles (with engines M176, M177, M178) listed below from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 years/50,000 miles to 15 years/150,000 miles (whichever occurs first), due to the following condition: In the affected vehicles, the sealing ring in the engine thermostat could detach, causing a delay in the heating of the engine coolant. This may also cause the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp ("MIL") to illuminate. Please follow the work instructions added to this NCU to remedy the issue. Please be advised that all repairs being claimed under this extended warranty must have a quick test uploaded with the following fault code information and may be audited. P012800 - Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature) All repairs found to be functioning properly or without proper documentation will be returned and the claim debited in full. Only the following damage codes and parts may be claimed for the aforementioned repairs: Damage Code(s): 20102 - Insert, coolant thermostat o 52 - Does not operate correctly o 41 - Hard closing 20103 - Housing/cover, coolant thermostat o 73 - Electrical fault 2030T - Heating element, coolant thermostat o 53 - Insufficient effect/power o 73 - Electrical fault

  Fault code P06DA00 is found current or stored in engine control unit. Check engine light may be activated. Various causes Up to Model year 2018 Fault code P06DA00 can be disregarded if not activating the check engine light, unless otherwise specified in the guided test. The vehicle continues to operate as designed. Further causes should be investigated if complaint of check engine light is received. If fault code P06DA00 is activating the check engine light, update software of the ME control unit. No further repairs needed if the code no longer activates check engine light after 2 drive cycles. Model year 2019 and later Fault code P06DA00 will activate check engine light as of model year 2019. No driveability concerns will be observed, only illumination of the CEL. This fault code indicates high resistance or open in the circuit to Y130 oil pump control valve. Perform guided test for component Y130 under list of tests in ME. Diagnose location of high resistance or open in Y130 circuit and repair as necessary. Warranty claims submitted without supporting guided test results may be subject to debit.

Why the warranty extension? On certain Model Year 2010 – 2011 C / E / GLK Class Mercedes-Benz vehicles, a potential fuel seepage from the fuel filter flange could result in the fuel odor and/or an activation of the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (‘MIL’). . Any repairs under this warranty extension must be performed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. • If your preferred authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership performs a diagnosis and confirms that your vehicle has the issue, the repair will be covered under this extended warranty and performed at no cost to you. • This extended warranty does not apply to any other components or conditions beyond the ones mentioned above, and standard warranty terms apply, including the exclusions with respect to extra expenses, as identified in the Service and Warranty Information booklet.

Notes: - In the quick test, no fault code and no event code is stored in the RAMSES control unit (N112/2). The SIM card may be defective. A defective SIM card can be identified as follows: With XENTRY Diagnosis, open the "ACTUAL values" menu of the RAMSES control unit and read out the values for "EUICC, ICCID, IMEI, IMSI". ACTUAL values in the event of a defect: 1. EUICC:null 2. ICCID: null 3. IMEI: null 4. IMSI: null If all the values for "EUICC, ICCID, IMEI, IMSI" = null, then it is highly likely that the SIM card inside the RAMSES control unit is defective. Recommissioning the RAMSES control unit may rectify the problem. If the problem is still present after the recommissioning, then the RAMSES control unit must be replaced. In this case, please create a TIPS case and forward it to HQ. The part is required for analysis. Information on the return delivery of the module will be communicated via TIPS case.

This warranty extension includes the replacement of the PZEV fuel filter unit due to potential fuel seepage from the fuel filter flange that could result in fuel odor and/or an activation of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (“MIL”). Note that due to the nature of the fuel seepage and the distance to hot components, a risk of fire can be ruled out. This extended limited warranty applies to all aforementioned conditions that necessitate the servicing and or replacement of the PZEV fuel filter unit under the standard warranty terms and conditions.

Remote software updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the customer’s vehicle free of charge without an additional workshop visit via the data link of the communication module.   Wheezing noises from the front shock absorbers when passing over surface undulations and rough road. The noises may become more conspicuous with warm damper oil. The flow noises of the damper oil are currently being analyzed. The wheezing noises are currently considered standard for the series. Replacing the shock absorbers will yield no benefit and will not remedy the problem. Please report complaints regarding these wheezing noises via TIPS.

  The "SOS nonfunctional" message appears sporadically in the instrument cluster of the vehicle. The fault code B129C00 is stored in the control unit log. The message occurs in particular after the vehicle has been non-operational for an extended period of time; the message then disappears of its own accord after a few minutes. No functional limitation to the emergency call system is to be expected. Software error in N112/9 control unit for telematics services (HERMES).   In our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to enhance the satisfaction of our customers, Mercedes-Benz USA (“MBUSA”) is extending the coverage for the intake line assembly on your vehicle from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 years / 50,000 miles to 15 years / 150,000 miles (whichever occurs first), and applies to the vehicle regardless of ownership. Why the warranty extension? On certain Model Year 2015 - 2020 C/E/GLC/SLC and SLK vehicles, under certain circumstances, the partial-load ventilation valve (a part of the intake line assembly) may not work as intended, resulting in the illumination of the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (‘MIL’). A faulty partial-load ventilation valve might also increase exhaust gas emission. . Any repairs under this warranty extension must be performed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. • If your preferred authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership performs a diagnosis and confirms that your vehicle has the issue, the repair will be performed at no cost to you. • This extended warranty does not apply to any other components or conditions beyond the ones mentioned above, and standard warranty terms apply, including the exclusions with respect to extra expenses, as identified in the Service and Warranty Information booklet.   12V message in IC when starting the vehicle. SW updates need to be performed. Follow the guided test for FC U116000 in N73/3*1 EIS CU. Perform the SW checks and updates. Fully charge both 12V and 48V batteries. After, perform a few drive/park cycles with at least 1 overnight park cycle. If the 12V message is no longer present, release the vehicle.

  Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2018-2023 C-Class, EQE, EQE SUV, EQS, EQS SUV, GLC, GLE and S-Class (206, 295, 294, 297, 296, 254, 167 and 223 platform) vehicles, the communication module software does not correspond with the latest series production configuration. The update is free of charge and will be carried out in the background. The installation will eliminate software errors for a better entertainment experience. The update will show after the ignition has been cycled. MBUSA will conduct an OTA service campaign. A workshop visit for the customer is not required since remote software updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the customer’s vehicle. The OTA may be validated as successful on the customer’s Mercedes Me connect app under “Over-the-Air Vehicle Updates” as “Update for the communication module”. If the OTA is successful it will show a green “installed” and date of installation in the Over-the-Air update section.
