SummaryComplaint After the charging process is complete, an instrument cluster message with a charging error appears and FC P0CFE00 is stored in control unit "N83 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)". The fault message and the fault memory entry can also appear at the beginning of the charging pause during delayed charging. Both only occur in combination with active pre-entry climate control. Cause Software in control unit "N83 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)". Remedy For model series 167, 214, 254 and 223 with code 802: Perform SCN coding in control unit "N83 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)". Please do not replace any parts even if the FC P0CFE00 coding continues to appear after successfully completing this step. A new software is currently in development and will become available in 11/2025. Replacing parts will not remedy the issue. For model series 243: The correction is already available. Please inform the workshop to perform a software update and SCN coding for the control units "N116/5 - Direct current charging connection unit (DCCU)" and "N83/11 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)" in order to remedy the problem.

SummaryComplaint Possible humming noises from the drivetrain in the area of the rear axle, especially during tight cornering in the lower speed range. Remedy Note: Please follow the instructions in this document. The replacement of components (other than those named for processing) is not effective. Remedy: A test drive must be performed. For accurate analysis (localization) of the noise, the "Steelman Chassis Ear" noise diagnosis kit can be used, for example. If the rear axle differential is unambiguously identified as the cause (noise source), the oil must be replaced. Observe the following: 1. Warm up the oil in the differential by means of a short test drive. 2. Drain the oil from the differential and fill it with new oil according to the parts list in the attachment. Please follow the procedure described in AR.35.31-P-0523OLC. Note: To ensure that the differential is drained as completely as possible, both rear wheels should be rotated slowly 2-3 turns while draining. Make sure that as little residual oil as possible remains in the differential. 3. Please advise the customer that in isolated cases the problem may continue to occur for another 30 to 60 miles after the oil has been replaced. If the problem is still present after the appropriate mileage: • Double check the appropriate mileage was driven. • Repeat the flushing and filling procedure a second time, make sure to properly flush all the diff fluid out • If no change after the second flush and additional mileage. replace the rear diff

SummaryComplaint The OTA software update prepares the SRS/ORC controller and enables it to be updated remotely in the future. Based on technician feedback, the OTA (code: 25P5496529) does not start even after an extended period of time and several driving cycles. In addition, the "Continue" button is grayed out. Cause The exact cause for the OTA not to start is currently under analysis. Remedy Please check whether the vehicle is affected by the field measure "Update software of Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit" (code: 25P5496529) and if yes, perform this update using a XENTRY with all latest Add-Ons and bill under accounting number 5496529. If the vehicle is not affected by this field measure, in the event of a complaint update control unit ORC223 using XENTRY and use damage code 8251M01. As of XENTRY Release Version 06/25, control unit ORC223 can also be updated in this context without a password. Provided control unit ORC223 is error-free after the update, the vehicle can be handed back. ***IMPORTANT*** -In isolated cases, the OTA update may continue to be displayed for up to 3-4 weeks even after flashing with XENTRY. Note: This LI applies only to the OTA update for occupant protection!

SummaryComplaint: Audible "slurping" operating noise from the fuel tank Cause: Conditions: The fuel tank is around half full The secondary chamber is almost empty. The suction jet pump suctions up small quantities of fuel and air. This results in vibrations and turbulence, which make noises. These noises may sound like slurping. The fuel pump and the drained secondary chamber amplify certain noises which can be loud or shrill. The viscosity of the fuel and the intensity of the fuel pump also impact the noises. The fuel level is in the area of the saddle overflow in the primary chamber. The fuel mixed with air flows back into the secondary chamber. The noises may therefore be audible for longer If the primary chamber is no longer in the area of the saddle overflow, the noises should disappear because the secondary chamber no longer receives fuel. The area of the saddle overflow in the primary chamber is around +/- 2 liters of fuel volume (fuel gauge shows around half full). Remedy: Refill/drain approx. 5 liters of fuel; if the noise is reduced/is no longer present due to this, the circumstance specified above is present Further measures may cause a reduction in noises in the specified area: In isolated cases, a fuel tank installed under stress may amplify the noises. The installation position of the fuel tank and the contact surfaces on the body-in-white should be checked here. To do so, release the fuel tank and refasten it, see WIS. Replacement of component parts such as fuel tank/delivery module does not provide a remedy! If a similar noise is heard, but the tank volume is 3/4 or 1/4 and not 1/2 as described above, another circumstance is present

SummaryComplaint Combustion engine could no longer be started, only electric driving possible Cause High-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator defective Remedy Requirement: Before carrying out test work, it must be ensured that the person performing the work has successfully completed the required qualification for work on the high-voltage system. Note: In order to check whether the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator is defective, please carry out the test below. If the fault "P0E2F00 The electrical fuse B for the high voltage has a malfunction" is stored in the N82/10 BMS control unit, the HV protocol must be checked to see whether the fuse for the auxiliary consumers is defective. In this case, the high-voltage battery must be replaced after the short circuit has been eliminated. (See attachment) The defective high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator must always be sent back via the existing return delivery process for analysis. Check: Please disconnect the high-voltage plug at the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator and connect test adapter 000 589 94 63 00. Measure resistance HV+ to HV-. If the final measurement result is between 0–1 ohm, the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator with the short circuit must be replaced. If either one of or both the fault codes P0C0B16 and P0C0B17 are saved in the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator control unit G2/3, please replace the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator, since no short circuit can be measured here and this therefore concerns a hardware defect. Please check the serial number on the silver adhesive label below the SW number on the front of the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator. Example: 2314300044 (the first 10 digits, see attachment) Important note: If the number is greater than 2329100027, a TIPS case must be created. In this instance, please attach the following documents to the TIPS case: • Quick test • High-voltage event log • Picture of the silver adhesive label on the front of the high-voltage belt-driven starter-alternator (serial number) • Attach the measurement results with pictures
