Retractable seatbelt is no longer working. The vehicle is currently at the dealership for repairs. There is only 32,000 miles on this vehicle. The seatbelt no longer retracts; therefore, if an accident occurred a personal injury would very likely result. Yes, the dealership has confirmed the seatbelt is no longer retracting. There haven't been any warning lights or messages. An extended warranty has been bought through Korner Stone. Korner Stone will not cover the repair/replacement of the unit even though seatbelts and air bags are safety components of the vehicle, and the warranty is supposed to be bumper to bumper. (The clause is written in their fine print of their contract. If the unit fails, they are not responsible.)

Significant electrical issues. Screens randomly turn off and flicker which prevents driver from being able to see vehicle status including speed. Vehicle also has built in charge pad which over heats and concerned could lead to wires melting and fire. Vehicle has spent multiple weeks at dealership for electrical issues but no solution has thus far been found. Viddeo shows flickering but shut off happens randomly and have not been able to catch on video. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My 2023 Jeep has had 2 recalls for rear suspension coil popping out while driving was inspected per manufacturer guidelines on 11/20/2025, approximately 7 months on 6/5/2026, after they “repaired” second recall for rear coil spring, the coil spring popped out when I was driving down the road. Took car to the dealership the vehicle has approximately 37,000 miles manufacturer claims since it was covered under the recall and “fixed” that I would have to pay 40% of the cost while they pay 60%. Manufacturer refuses to pay for repairs when this has been an ongoing issue. No warning lights came on the dash when this occurred. Made multiple attempts to contact manufacturer and was told that I would have to write a letter to the corporate office with my issue. The vehicle is still at the dealership awaiting repairs for this issue and currently has an active recall listed for the airbags.

On XXX at approximately 630pm during rush-hour traffic crossing the XXX on [XXX], my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited L (11,800 miles) the brake pedal went to the floor and the vehicle would not stop normally. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. This created a dangerous situation in heavy traffic with my child in the car and could have easily led to a collision. The vehicle was promptly taken to the closest authorized Jeep dealer. They diagnosed a Brake Vacuum Booster failure along with Diagnostic Trouble Code P057B-00 (Brake Pedal Position Sensor related). I have video footage of the symptom occurring and photos of the repair diagnosis. This is a new vehicle with very low mileage, and this unexpected failure raises serious safety concerns about potential defects in the brake system. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this matter to determine if it affects other 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Vehicle Information: • Make/Model/Year: Jeep Grand Cherokee 2024 • VIN: [XXX] • Mileage at time of failure: 11,800 miles • Date of purchase: 11/1/2024 No injuries or crash occurred, but the safety risk was SIGNIFICANT. I picked up my wife from the airport and I’m on 76 going home. As I am driving about to switch lanes I hear a pop, so I am thinking that I got a flat tire. As I pull over I check all my tires nothing is flat. I look under my car and I see that my rear suspension spring on the right side of my tire is hanging down. Now I am waiting for a tow, so I can take it back to the dealer.

There was a previous recall for camera system that was fixed using a OTA over the air update per JEEP. This update introduced new problems It disabled the forward collision detection and disabled paddle shifting and other safety features which should also be issued as a RECALL because the dealer is not reputable to this on their own. The fix that they did requires customer to come in and have more work done at their expense and they pretend they didn't cause it but clearly this is a major problem across their whole line of Cars.

Dear NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation, I am filing this formal safety defect complaint regarding the complete failure of the airbag system to deploy during a serious motor vehicle collision on [XXX], involving a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude (VIN: [XXX] ). This failure occurred in direct connection with a known manufacturer defect covered under NHTSA Recall #26V-328. The driver, [XXX] , sustained serious injuries that were significantly enhanced by the airbag failure. Neither the driver nor the vehicle owner, [XXX] , had any prior knowledge of this defect. We request that NHTSA open a formal investigation and take all appropriate enforcement action against Stellantis/FCA On [XXX], at approximately [XXX] PM, [XXX] was operating the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude southbound on [XXX] . Conditions at the time were ideal — clear weather, dry roads, and full daylight visibility. [XXX] was traveling straight through a signalized intersection at the posted 35 MPH speed limit when his vehicle was struck by a 2024 Ford Expedition that failed to yield while making a left turn from northbound [XXX] . The result was a serious angle collision that caused disabling damage to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle was unable to be driven and was towed from the scene by Police Impound Quality Towing [XXX] ). [XXX] was wearing his shoulder and lap belt seatbelt and was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was transported by ambulance to Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The official State of Michigan Traffic Crash Report (Southfield PD, Incident #[XXX], Crash ID [XXX]) confirms all of these facts and documents that [XXX] bore no fault for this collision. This car slams the breaks to a stop in the middle of an intersection while turning left with other cars across the intersection also turning left. It thinks we will hit but we are not going to. This has happened twice. Luckily, the driver behind us was paying attention both times and also slammed their brakes, avoiding a collision.

A trailer hitch was contracted as part of the vehicle purchase on December 20, 2025, and was physically installed by Southern Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in January 2026 as a fulfillment of that purchase contract. This installation was performed by Stellantis's own authorized dealer technicians. The vehicle has been configured and warranted for towing use since January 2026 — an explicitly marketed capability of this vehicle platform. A trip was scheduled for May 18, 2026 to tow a 12-foot rigid inflatable boat (yacht tender) weighing approximately 600 pounds on a trailer from XXX to Fawcett Boat Services in XXX — a route of approximately 150 miles traversing [XXX] in heavy traffic at approximately 70 mph. The appointment at Fawcett Boat Services is verifiable. The boat's location in [XXX] is documentable. The air suspension failure occurred on May 17, 2026 — one day before this towing trip. The trip was canceled as a direct result. Had the failure occurred on May 18, 2026 during transit on Interstate 95: —The spontaneous asymmetric rear suspension collapse — right rear corner dropping without warning at 70 mph — would have subjected the hitch coupling to vertical and lateral forces outside its design tolerance —Trailer instability, jackknifing, or physical decoupling of a 600-pound loaded trailer at 70 mph in heavy interstate traffic is mechanically foreseeable —A decoupled trailer carrying a rigid boat structure at 70 mph in heavy traffic is a lethal projectile — the foreseeable consequences include multiple vehicle collisions and loss of life Stellantis marketed this vehicle as towing-capable. Stellantis's dealer installed the hitch. Stellantis knew — through its own published Technical Service Bulletins — that the Quadra-Lift system was prone to spontaneous failure at highway speed. The convergence of a known defect, an explicitly marketed and dealer-installed towing capability, and a spontaneous highway f INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

On April 20, 2026, my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L was involved in a crash due to a sudden and complete brake failure. At the time of the incident, the vehicle was in the custody of an authorized FCA dealership. An employee of the dealership was operating the vehicle when the brakes completely failed to respond, resulting in an accident. FCA US LLC Special Investigations conducted an inspection (Case #[96529168]) and stated they found no physical evidence of a manufacturing defect or component malfunction. However, the mechanical or electronic failure was severe enough to cause a crash while being operated by a professional dealership technician. I am filing this complaint because sudden brake failure represents an extreme safety hazard to the public. The manufacturer has denied assistance, and independent federal oversight is required to determine if a software or hydraulic defect exists in this model year.

My 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L experienced a sudden, simultaneous failure of multiple electrical, safety, and driver-assistance systems. Without warning, the instrument cluster illuminated a yellow warning light indicating that the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system was disabled and unavailable. Concurrently, the steering wheel paddle shifters completely stopped functioning, and the vehicle randomly reset its primary language setting to Italian reverted its system units to Metric and Celsius. Furthermore, critical user customization options in the Uconnect 5 infotainment system—specifically the auto-folding side mirrors option, automatic door locking preferences, and passenger seat controls—completely disappeared from the settings menus.

My vehicle wasn’t reading my key fob when I was pressing the lock and unlock button, so I took out the hard key and unlock the doors. Then the alarm set off and I was using the key fob again trying to shut the alarm off no response so I took the key fob and press the start stop button and the engine turn over and the key was working again then I went to shut off the engine same way. The engine would not shut off my driver seat wouldn’t move so I couldn’t get to the battery and I paid a lock smith to come out and he couldn’t even help me with my key fob not syncing with the vehicle..my ebreak would not release or the emergency override break wasn’t working. On the digital dash it’s kept saying shift to park to release parking break but the vehicle was in park all while doing so. This all happened around 7pm. So I could not get help until the morning cs the vehicle would not move
