Summary2017 QX60; WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND ICC SENSOR ADJUSTMENT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION For Applied Vehicles that are equipped with the Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) system: - If the rear toe has been adjusted during a wheel alignment, the ICC sensor does not need to be aligned/adjusted. - The FSU (Front Suspension) and RSU (Rear Suspension) sections of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) incorrectly states that the ICC sensor needs to be adjusted after adjusting rear toe. - 4 wheel alignment is not required before alignment/adjustment of the ICC sensor. - The CCS (Cruise Control System) section of the ESM incorrectly states that 4 wheel alignment is required before the ICC sensor is aligned/adjusted. NOTE: The ESM will be updated with this information at a later date.

SERVICE INFORMATION Applied vehicles equipped from the factory with a Motion Activated Liftgate should also have a Motion Activated Liftgate Sticker applied to the back door window glass. DO NOT remove this sticker during PDI, or when the vehicle is washed, or any other time the vehicle is in inventory. NOTE: - Motion activated liftgate sticker is only to be removed by the customer. - Replacement stickers can be obtained from your parts department.

SummaryINFINITI; DTC P0456 CAUSED BY EVAP LEAK AT VENT CONTROL VALVE O-RING IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK) AND - DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to ITB13-044). - An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. - The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the vent control valve. 2. Replace the vent control valve O-ring seal (O-ring). - Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2.

SummaryDisabling the 2G TCU Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary ***** Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to disable (turn off) the 2G Telematics Control Unit (?2G TCU?). The subject QX56/QX80, JX35/QX60, M37/M56/Q70, and 2014-15 Q50 vehicles are equipped with Continental GEN1 TCU devices transmitting at 2/2.5G (GSM/GPRS/UMTS) frequencies and are designed to work with 2G cellular service. The 2G cellular service is no longer active in the United States. The subject 2G TCUs are no longer connected to telematics services and no longer perform any function in the affected vehicles. This campaign is being performed out of an abundance of caution to help safeguard against potential cybersecurity issues. - All eligible vehicles that enter the service department for any reason should have the subject 2G TCU deactivated. This campaign will be performed at no charge to the client for parts and labor. - Vehicles that have been upgraded to 3G TCUs are not subject to this campaign. - For clients interested in the 3G TCU upgrade as opposed to deactivation, please refer to ITB17-007 (PC451, PC452, or PC454)

SummaryVOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN INFINITI; 2G TELEMATICS HARDWARE DEACTIVATION INTRODUCTION Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign (in the U.S. ONLY) on certain specific 2013-2016 Infiniti vehicles equipped with 2G Telematics Hardware to disable the 2G Telematics Control Unit (TCU). The 2G cellular service is no longer active in the United States and the subject TCUs are no longer connected to telematics services (Infiniti ConnectTM) and no longer perform any function in the affected vehicles. This campaign is being performed out of abundance of caution to help prevent potential cybersecurity issues. - Applied vehicles equipped with the 2G Telematics Control Unit (TCU) that enter the service department for any reason should have the subject TCU deactivated. This campaign will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. - For customers interested in the TCU update as opposed to deactivation, please refer to ITB17-007. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Infiniti has assigned identification number P7331 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a retailer?s inventory.

NOTE: If this issue should occur, the outside door handle lamps will also be inoperative. ACTION 1. Set the parking brake. 2. Pull out the extended storage switch/fuse to the ?inventory/storage? position. 3. Start the engine. 4. Confirm the interior lamps are now working correctly. 5. Push in the extended storage switch/fuse to the ?customer delivery? position. NOTE: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnostic and repair information.
