- #11719218February 19, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, POWER TRAIN, SUSPENSION
The vehicle has twice displayed a “Service High Voltage System” warning followed by “Reduced Acceleration – Drive With Care.” When this occurs, the vehicle enters a reduced-power (turtle) mode that severely limits acceleration. Cabin heat also stopped working, and the vehicle would not charge beyond approximately 25%, restricting driving range. OnStar diagnostics reported a critical error. The vehicle and diagnostic history are available for inspection upon request. The first incident occurred while driving around town. Although I was close to home, the reduced acceleration created concern because the vehicle could not respond normally to traffic. The second incident was significantly more dangerous and occurred in heavy traffic and on the freeway about 40 miles from home during heavy rain. The limited acceleration made merging and maintaining a safe traffic speed difficult, placing myself and others at risk. I have only been able to get the dealer to take the vehicle in one time, specifically for this issue, and that was because the warning lights were still on at arrival. Staff observed the warnings at check-in, but by the time the vehicle reached the service area, the lights had cleared. The dealer stated they could not perform repairs without active warnings, though stored codes reportedly indicated a low-voltage condition. Additionally, a clicking noise from the wheel area began about 1,500 miles ago and occurs consistently when turning, similar to a CV axle concern. During a separate visit, the dealer put in writing that they could not do anything about the noise and did not diagnose or inspect it, which left me uneasy about potential drivetrain safety. The intermittent high-voltage fault, reduced acceleration, charging limitation, loss of heat, and unresolved drivetrain noise create ongoing safety concerns due to the unpredictable nature of the failures.

- #11718298February 16, 2026FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, SUSPENSION, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Clicking noises when turning. Dealership no longer fixing (fixed passenger side, driver side still unrepaired). Front end collision breaking happening at random, causing unsafe breaking in the middle of the road. Also frequently happening when releasing break at stop light, narrowly avoiding multiple rear end collisions due to breaks being slammed on by vehicle collision system. Now with high voltage battery failure message, blowing cold air out of hvac system and performing at reduced acceleration.

- #11717745February 13, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
On multiple occasions the alert for either the forward or rear collision warning system will sound with nothing either in front of or behind the vehicle. In these cases, the car automatically braked and brought the car to a stop in the middle of my driving. The component is not available for inspection. This puts myself and others at risk by completely overriding my ability to control the vehicle until I am able to put the car back in gear and begin moving again. It completely immobilizes the car for several seconds. It is also a safety hazard because I have been forced to turn off the automatic braking for both the front and rear collision warning systems. This problem has not been confirmed by the dealer, nor have any of the parts been inspected by those listed above. There were no warnings or messages before the problem began.

According to my research the part that has failed in the CV joint for my right front wheel. This was made evident to me by an occasional clicking noise when I turn and accelerate. The part is not available for inspection. So far, it has not put myself or others at risk. The problem has not been confirmed by a dealer. Neither the vehicle nor the component has been inspected by those you listed above. There have been no warnings or other symptoms before the CV joint failed and the clicking noise began.

This vehicle is experiencing constant malfunctions with the infotainment system. It constantly flickers, freezes, and blacks out completely during normal driving conditions. This is prohibiting use of features controlled by the unit including charge settings and rear camera use. This has been a constant issue with this car and has been checked by Honda Henderson multiple times and all attempts have failed to resolve.

- #11717226February 11, 2026UNKNOWN OR OTHER, WHEELS, SUSPENSION
I am submitting this complaint regarding a recurring safety defect in my 2024 Honda Prologue (VIN: [XXX] ), serviced at AutoNation Honda Chandler in Chandler, Arizona. Most recent service reference: Invoice #XXX. The vehicle has experienced a repeated knocking noise coming from the right front wheel area, particularly when turning right or left at low speeds with the steering wheel fully turned. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a failure of the front wheel drive half shaft (outboard passenger axle) and replaced the component. This same part has now failed three times. Despite multiple repairs and part replacements, the problem continues to return. The front axle/half shaft is a critical drivetrain component, and failure of this part can affect steering control and vehicle stability, especially during turning. Between all service visits, my vehicle has been at the dealership for nearly one month in total. Most recently, my third appointment was canceled, and I was informed that there is currently no solution available for this issue. I am extremely concerned about the safety of operating this vehicle due to the repeated failure of the same drivetrain component and the lack of a permanent repair. This ongoing situation has caused significant stress and raises serious safety concerns. I am requesting that this matter be investigated, as it appears to be a recurring defect affecting a critical vehicle component. The contact owns a 2025 Honda Prologue. The contact stated that while parked and attempting to charge the vehicle, the vehicle failed to charge. The battery warning light was illuminated, and the message "Service Critical High-Voltage Battery" was displayed with a flashing red battery in the corner. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and was diagnosed with a critical battery failure. The vehicle was not repaired; however, the battery was reset, and the vehicle was drivable. The failure had occurred approximately five times. On another occasion, while driving at an undisclosed speed, an unknown warning light illuminated, and the message "Adaptive Cruise Control Unavailable" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but it was not yet diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.

December 2024 (3405 miles on vehicle): front axles started making clicking noises. Went to dealer and was told that axles were on backorder. March 2025 (5180 miles on vehicle): one axle was replaced. Was told other axle was on backorder. November 2025 (14331 miles on vehicle): went to dealer again to have axles looked at, since Honda had no record of axles being on backorder. Axles ordered again. January 2026 (15146 miles on vehicle): went to dealer for axles replacement. Honda told dealer that axles should not be replaced, as the issue is being investigated by Honda. Vehicle continues to make very loud clicking noises when turning, and excessive clunking when slowing down and turning. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Front axles, yes. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The vehicle drives ok but makes tons of noise and it is very concerning. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Unknown. Vehicle has been at the dealer several times for the same issue. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Clicking and clunking. Noises have remained from 3000 miles on (vehicle now has 16000 miles).

Took posession of car at 5k miles. No issues. At around 8k started noticing a clicking noise when making turns; especially tighter turns. Finally, took it to dealership today 2/9/2026 and was told nothing they could do and it is not a safety issue according to Honda since there is no visible defect seen. The technician did confirm the noise when doing a test drive while vehicle was being inspected. Was told it is how the CV joints are meshing together when making a turn, and again is not a safety concern.

The axles on my vehicle are defective. Every time I make a turn (left, right, or U-turn) the vehicle makes a loud clicking noise. I’ve taken the vehicle in 3 times. Initially, Honda promised to fix the issue, yet each time I’ve gone in they always come up with an excuse (1st time: we ordered the wrong part, 2nd time: sorry we wasted your time today, the part still isn’t in yet, 3rd time: unfortunately Honda has released a bulletin, they are urging us not to replace the axles because it doesn’t fix the issue/does not pose a safety threat) this is after 3 TIMES. Each time my car was kept ALL day. Each time I would drop my car off at 8 am, and by the time I’m being called by my Honda service rep it’s already past 5 pm. My time has literally been wasted MULTIPLE TIMES. Why would you contact me to bring the car in so many times if you knew you were never going to fix the problem to begin with? The bulletin that was shown to me was released on 12/19/25. The problem is, the date that I was in (my 3rd and final time) was on 1/27/26. So why would you string me along for over a month if you knew that bulletin had already been released? Completely diabolical. Honda wasted my time and refuses to fix the problem. This vehicle is an issue and EVERYONE knows it. All of the Honda Prologue forums literally say the exact same thing from owners of this vehicle (AXLE ISSUES). This is a safety hazard. Clicking axles are not normal on a BRAND NEW car. Ridiculous. I’ve even tried to get out of my lease and they are not allowing me to (without penalty of course). I’m mad at myself for even purchasing this car. Shame on you Honda!!!

CV joints left and right make very loud clicking noise, the service department at the dealer ordered the parts in December of 2025, i have been at the dealer twice and today February 6, they told me that the parts are not expected until the end of March, I do not feel safe driving the car. Also the auto emergency brake does not work properly when backing up, false positive hard brakes happen all the time.

When turning right or left during 90-degree turns or U-turns, a loud clicking noise is heard. Already had the front axle replaced during first maintenance and the problem came back within 2 months of normal driving.
