The Touch Screen Malfunctions. The hands-free functions and navigation functions cannot be accessed. The touch screen randomly switches from application-to-application beeping every time it does this. This occurs every 10-15 seconds. I believe this is a safety concern for 2 reasons. First, I travel with a 3 year old. The lack of navigation and hands-free calling presents a safety problem as I must look down to my phone in order to see where I need to go. I cannot receive or make a call without exiting the highway and stopping my vehicle. Second, the incessant beeping, and screens jumping around is very distracting. This is a known Honda Issue for a 2022 Honda Accord. Honda replaced the screen once. It worked properly for 5 months and the problem has recurred. The only recourse advised at this point was to contact you to make a report.

Collision mitigation Electric Parking Brake Brake System Problem Electric Power System Problem Adaptive Cruise Control Problem Tire Pressure Monitoring problem System morning light comes on in my car and I’m afraid My car may shut down at any time Due to all of the system, seemingly failing. It started doing it randomly and the warnings will go off so I’d ignore it but now it is more consistent and they stay on all the time. I searched online to see if anyone else had experienced this and there are many others are having the same issues.

Driving routine commute of 20 miles at Highway speeds on a clear weekday. The vehicle experienced ALL warning lights on dash and immediately went into limp mode. No power applied to the wheels when pressing the power pedal. Brought vehicle to the side of the road and powered off. Waited 30 secs to a minute and pressed Power and the only remaining error of "Brake System Problem" stayed up on the Driver display. Dropped vehicle off at the dealer, 3 miles from my job, to have them evaluate. After half a day the dealer stated "no problem found", "intermittent error". Now there is a known problem with late Honda vehicles with water intrusion into the tail lights and that in turn causes a short in the Braking system. I have noticed condensation in the tail light (Drivers side) but only a very small amount. Dealer stated they checked both tail lights and found no cracks or condensation. In my opinion my car falls into this category but dealer would not agree to a replacement assembly UNLESS they saw condensation in the tail lamp unit.

Clarion Radio head, Honda part 39101-T3W-A71. Radio is removed from car at this point and may be inspected, awaiting service. Speakers produce full volume static, especially correlated to a hot day. Static is unavoidable, occurs whether or not system is powered on or off. Source input also does not matter. Restarting car also does not fix issue. Safety is at risk by causing hearing loss and distracted/inattentive driving. Car is not drivable as long as this full volume static is occurring. Honda surely knows about this issue, there are wide reports of this issue on you tube and online discussion boards.

While driving my 2019 Honda Accord at approximately 65 mph on the highway, the car suddenly lost power, went into limp mode, and the steering wheel locked up. I was unable to turn or control the vehicle, which resulted in another car crashing into me. I sustained injuries in the accident and required medical attention. The incident was extremely dangerous and could have been fatal. After being towed to Russell & Smith Honda, they confirmed a blown head gasket was the cause of the failure. This issue is already the subject of a class-action lawsuit due to known design flaws in the 1.5T engine. Honda only offered partial assistance, leaving me responsible for thousands in repair costs. This vehicle is unsafe and needs to be investigated immediately.

This car had a manufacturer recall for the "fuel pump". I was advised by Honda to go get the car checked by the dealer to evaluate if the issues I was getting were related to the recall. I paid close to $400 to get the car diagnosed and about 3/4 months after that I was told that the part is available for the recall service. I got the repair scheduled at the dealership and got the part replaced. Ever since I got this fuel pump replaced, now the car is struggling to pickup. It looks like a miss fire but it doesn't show any errors on display. In this condition, this car is not safe to drive around as it is skipping the engine thrusts. I have looked at Honda website and other online resources and people are talking about these issues but HONDA hasn't said or done anything about it. It all started after I got the fuel filter replaced.

- #11657024April 27, 2025LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
Lanes on the roadway were adjusted for a workzone. Because of these lane adjustments, a large amount of crack sealer was used on the roadway. The car confused the crack sealer as roadway markings and tried to slam on the brakes in a workzone, thinking I was going over the lines, unless I used the turn signal to override the automatic braking, which is the only way I was able to avoid getting rear-ended. This ian't the first time this ecent has occurred in my vehicle.

- #11656921April 26, 2025ENGINE, POWER TRAIN
On Sunday, March 30th, while driving on the highway, the car jerked and a hard vibration was felt before the engine died. The orange engine light flashed two or three times on the instrument panel but that was it. The owners manual states that a flashing orange engine light indicates a misfire. No other lights prior to that moment had illuminated on the instrument panel. The car is a 2017 Accord Sport with approximately 101k miles. Purchased in November 2021, this is the first time there’s ever been a problem and my car is maintained regularly. The car was towed to a local mechanic and I was told there was a misfire on cylinder 3, the valve spring is broken, the valve is bent, and the timing chain is loose. I was told I need a new engine. I don’t understand what happened because there was no warning or indication that anything was wrong. The safety concern is that the car died while driving on the highway and the vibration and jerking was scary trying to control the car while traveling at high speeds. I called Honda directly and I was told that my vin isn’t included in any recalls so there’s nothing they can do to help. I know there was a service bulletin in 2019 for the cam chain tensioner but I don’t know if this car was serviced since I bought it in 2021. I can’t afford to replace the engine and I’m still making payments. My VIN isn’t included with the fuel pump or oil pump recalls despite now including the L4 2.0 engines. This is my third Honda and I’ve never had anything like this happen before. The customer service rep said there was nothing they could do to help after confirming that my vin wasn’t included in any of the recalls. I had the car towed to a Honda dealership earlier this week for a deeper look into how and why this happened and the tech said the engine suffered a catastrophic failure. He also stated that he’s never seen anything like this before - referring to the broken valve spring. Valve springs are not wear and tear items.

The contact owns a 2010 Honda Accord. The contact stated that after start-up, the vehicle experienced unintended acceleration. The contact stated that the failure had occurred on several occasions while attempting to accelerate from being stationary. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while driving forward or while in reversing, and while turning the steering wheel six degrees in either direction. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure or determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 84,000.

Vehicle Information: Make: Honda Model: 2019 Accord Sport VIN: [XXX] Mileage: 90000 Date of Initial Recall repair under service bulletin 19-091: 6/02/2023 Issue Description: Type of Complaint: Non-safety related but performance-affecting system failure (A/C system). Description of the Problem: In 2023, the A/C system in my 2019 Honda Accord Sport began to leak refrigerant due to a faulty A/C condenser and O-rings. The vehicle was repaired under Honda service bulletins (S/B 19-091, S/B 21-014–21-018), which replaced the condenser and O-rings. Within two years of this repair, the same issue has occurred again: refrigerant is leaking from the A/C system, leading to a failure of the system to cool properly. Despite the initial repair being done under warranty, I am being quoted for additional repairs, which suggests a systemic issue with the A/C system. There is no recall issued for this problem, but the fact that the issue has recurred so soon after a factory-approved repair raises concerns about the durability and quality of the parts involved. Safety Impact (If applicable): While this A/C failure is not immediately safety-critical, a malfunctioning A/C system could lead to driver and passenger discomfort during extreme weather, potentially distracting the driver and compromising the vehicle’s overall comfort and performance. The 1000 miles or so, when trying to increase speed, would feel the gears slip between revolutions. I would let up on the gas pedal then slowly resume pressure, which sometimes worked or sometimes didnt. On April 19th while going up a hill on a side road, the car stalled and transmission warning light came on. I pulled over and shut the car off and restarted was able to slowly continue up hill at 15 miles per hour with the slipping becoming worse ( this is when I first called Honda to bring it in on Monday April 21.) I was able to arrive to work. After leaving work I pulled out of the parking lot and the car just stalled with all lights and warnings going off from engine to airbag warnings to tire pressure lights going off and dinging. This is when i called a tow truck to tow to the Curtiss Ryan Dealership. After talking to them at dealer they told me that other accords have had this problem.

Car reached 113,000 miles and started having misfires in cylinders 1&2. After being told it needed new coil packs and spark plugs, and replacing those it is still misfiring. Paid for diagnostic again and was told cylinder 1&2 were wet and most likely it was the head gasket failing.
