Our 2025 Ford F-150 experienced a complete instrument cluster failure immediately following a manufacturer-initiated over-the-air software update. Component/System Failure: The instrument cluster/display failed completely. The speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights, and all critical driving information are inoperable. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risk: This creates a serious safety hazard because the driver cannot monitor speed, fuel level, or warning indicators, increasing the risk of unsafe operation. Event Details: After the update installed overnight, the dashboard display was nonfunctional upon startup. The vehicle was operating normally prior to the update, and the failure occurred immediately afterward with no other issues. Inspection/Confirmation: The vehicle was taken to Southwest Ford dealership, where the issue was confirmed. We were told it is an electrical problem requiring repair. The dealership also stated another vehicle there had the same issue following an update. Manufacturer Response: The vehicle has approximately 46,000 miles and is out of warranty. We were quoted about $1,500 for repair. We opened a case with Ford Motor Company (Case #CCH-07666598-Q6Y1R3), but coverage was denied. Prior Warnings: There were no warning lights, messages, or symptoms prior to the failure. We believe this may indicate a defect in the software update system that could affect other vehicles and pose a broader safety risk. We request investigation and appropriate action.

Manufacturer Recall Number: 25S75 NHTSA Recall Number: 25V455 This recall has been open since July 8th, 2025 with no updates from Ford or the NHTSA. I am concerned because there is an increased risk of crash at failure, and the bulletin says that the risk is greater in high temperatures. I drive primarily in Texas and the Southwest United States. I have contacted my dealership every few months and they said they have no further information or ways to rectify the situation. I spoke to an NHTSA representative who said that I needed to file a report on this site to initiate an investigation since this recall has been open for so long. Reference #: XXX. It seems that Ford should have been able to access fuel pumps for replacement within the last 9 months. I just don't want to wait until it is too late to address. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Submitted the vehicle for recall repairs under recalls 25v315, 25v455, 25v104 and 25v517. Maintenance was scheduled to last less than a day. When I returned for the vehicle, I was informed the update had caused several module components to "brick." They informed me they had to receive authority from form to order new components and attempts another repair. I called March 17 for an update and was told the new components bricked again and that the issue was elevated to Ford engineering. Called Ford customer service and was given a case number [XXX]. Call Ford customer service March 30 and was told there is no update, fix or estimate of when a repair might be available. - #11730828April 13, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while his wife was in the process of parking the vehicle on the side of the street, the driver released the accelerator pedal; however, the vehicle failed to stop as intended, jolted forward, and hit one unoccupied and parked vehicle, and hit another occupied vehicle stopped at the stop light. The air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained nerve pain, causing the fingers to become numb, and the driver sustained headaches, back, hips, and shoulder pain. It was unknown whether the other driver sustained injuries. The contact's wife drove to an emergency room after the collision and received medical assistance. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to an auto collision repair shop, where it was serviced for the collision damage. An independent mechanic had diagnosed the vehicle with a one-pedal driving system and ABS failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the insurance company for assistance. The failure mileage was 13,290.

This is in reference to recall #23S65. I have been to two different Ford Service Centers over the last 2 years (2024 thru 2026). NO Ford service center has completed recall #23S65 on my 2022 F150. The Ford service centers talks about waiting for parts on order. However, the parts NEVER arrive. How can you accomplish a recall with no parts?? While driving my 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost, the vehicle issued a pre-collision warning followed immediately by a restraint system warning. The airbag then deployed without any collision or impact. There was no crash, obstacle, or reason for deployment. The airbag deployment shattered the windshield and caused interior damage. This appears to be a false activation of the pre-collision system and unintended airbag deployment, creating a serious safety hazard. This could easily result in injury or loss of vehicle control. The vehicle needs to be investigated for a potential defect in the airbag system, sensors, or pre-collision assist system.

I am filing this complaint regarding an unresolved safety recall on my 2021 Ford F-150 (VIN: [XXX] ), Recall 25S75 / NHTSA 25V455, issued July 2025. As of today, April 10, 2026, no remedy is available and Ford has not provided a firm commitment beyond a verbal statement from a customer service representative. I contacted Ford in writing via certified mail (delivered March 27, 2026) and by email. Ford Case Number: [XXX]. I received one email response on March 31, 2026 from Patrice Hargrove, Truck Concern CXS, stating the remedy would not be available until June 2026, that Ford had not advised me to stop driving, and that Ford would not provide a loaner or rental reimbursement. I responded the same day asking for written confirmation of the June 2026 date and confirmation that my correspondence had been documented in my case file. I followed up again on April 6, 2026. I have received no response to either email. My concern is not only the recall itself but the history of this specific vehicle. In October 2022, this truck stalled in the middle of the street while I was driving with my children in the vehicle. It was towed and serviced, with the cause attributed to alternator failure. The failure mode described in Recall 25S75, an engine stall caused by fuel pump failure, is the same experience I have already had with this truck. This vehicle has also undergone a rear axle wiring harness repair in June 2024 and a transmission service under Customer Satisfaction Program 25L02 in December 2025. I have two young children who ride in this vehicle regularly. Ford has acknowledged a safety defect that can cause an engine stall while driving, has provided no interim safety accommodation, and has not responded to my follow-up correspondence in over a week. I am requesting that NHTSA review Ford's handling of this recall and the adequacy of Ford's response to affected owners.
