BACK OVER PREVENTION, SUSPENSION, FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE
We purchased the above referenced vehicle new back in 2022 and have received numerous recalls since 2023. Many of these recalls have no remedy or remedies not yet available. Thankfully, most of these recalls are not urgent and do not pose much of a problem. However, the most recent recall 25S75/25V455 poses a threat due to loss of fuel pressure and recently our vehicle has shown signs of malfunctioning. I am majorly concerned because our daughter is supposed to use this vehicle in February 2026 and the way the recall repairs are trending, it may take months or years to remedy. I am writing this correspondence so you are aware of the recall and put it on your radar to track. I plan on writing again if a significant amount of time has passed with no remedy per Ford's direction if we are having difficulty getting our vehicle repaired in a "reasonable" amount of time. There is no reason Ford should be producing faulty, no remedy vehicles. Families have to rely on their vehicles and should feel safe and confident, not worrying if the car stalls mid highway with their child in it.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION, BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING
I have been getting a message that my blind spot and cross traffic alert deactivated because trailer is attached. I have never had a trailer attached but do have a trailer hitch- the dealer said Ford refuses to pay to have it fixed because the bumper to bumper warranty is out. the car has been garaged and has only 9,000 miles on it. This is a safety issue that I think they should cover as I have no blind spot or cross traffic warnings.

SUSPENSION
My car has a recall NHTSA #25V025 for the rear shock absorber external reservoir corrosion since1/21/2025. A few weeks ago the recall status shows remedy available so I brought it in to a Ford Dealership on 8/15/2025. The tech inspected the car and both absorbers showed signs of oil leaking and they need to be replaced. The pictures also showed the reservoirs are close to be separated from the vehicle. The dealer told me the parts are in back order with no ETA despite the recall status shows remedy available. The dealer told me the car is safe to drive despite the fact in the recall they stated "If a rear shock absorber external reservoir separates from the vehicle, it can create a potential road hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash." I don't have a car to drive since 8/15/2025 and Ford is refusing to provide a loaner or rental vehicle on their cost.

SERVICE BRAKES
I have a 2.7l V6 Bronco with an automatic transmission. There is a steep downhill road (22% grade) a couple blocks from my house that ends at a stop sign for a major cross street. I apply the brake pedal to slow down for the stop sign and the Bronco behaves normally and comes to a full stop, but then with no change in brake pedal pressure by me nor any pedal feedback, i notice the Bronco starts creeping forward a few feet, then abruptly stops again. When the Bronco starts creeping downhill and then abruptly stops again, there is no brake pedal feedback or movement, and the engine does not change RPM. The only sound I hear is something that sounds like service brakes releasing pressure then suddenly reapplying full pressure. I compensate by stopping early, so I don’t drift into the intersection, or a vehicle in front of me, or pedestrian. It can startle any pedestrian that starts to cross in front of my “stopped” Bronco and it suddenly starts creeping down on them. I have noticed this for months but have not taken it to a dealer for resolution yet. The problem appears to not happen after I have been driving for a few minutes. Because this is a problem that occurs on hills in the first few minutes of driving, it likely will be hard to demonstrate to a dealership for diagnosis because there are no hills near my local Ford dealership. SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
When my brakes are cold and I stop on a hill...the brakes do not hold and the car moves about a foot forward. Then something kicks in and it jerks the car to a stop (all the while my foot is completely pressed down on the brake. No warning lamps, no lights, nothing...just rolls when brake is completely applied. It only does this when the brakes are cold. After they warm up it doesn't do it anymore. The dealer has looked at it and couldn't replicate (because the brakes weren't cold) and told me to bring it back if it happens again. It happens every morning but by the time the dealer gets it it doesn't do it anymore. A PLETHORA of bronco owners are experiencing this same thing. Our thread on [XXX] is full of people experiencing the same thing. Some guy in Canada said he had every brake part replaced and it still happened. Then they did some sort of software update and he hasn't experienced it since. Why is this update not available to all? This is a serious hazard! Someone is going to get hurt! There are reports of Ford Broncos rolling forward under braking, after a full stop. This occurs most often on a hill. To be clear, the brakes are already fully depressed, the vehicle is stopped, and THEN the vehicle suddenly rolls forward while the brakes are depressed, endangering pedestrians and others. SUSPENSION
My rear shocks have been corroding on the external resevior attached to the lower shock body and is rusting really bad in the exact place where the manufacturer of this vehicle says that it's breaking down ( rusting ) at. I called the dealership and the service department and they REALLY gave me the impression that they really don't want to repair my vehicle and is why I'm filling this report with NHTSA . I want the dealership of the manufacturer to replace my rear shocks with new shocks and not put RTV sealant and a retention clamp on this external resevior as stated as one of the remedies the manufacturer has listed in a letter sent out to all of it's dealerships about the manufacturers recall on the rear shocks . In the manufacturer's letter it does state that one of the remedies is replacing the shocks but ONLY if the shocks are leaking oil from the shock resevior/ flange damper area . The corrosion on my shocks are bad . The manufacturer is not SERIOIS about fixing this problem and is why I trust NHTSA to help me and thank you NHTSA .

Engine started stalking and acting like it wasn’t getting enough gas about a month ago. Took to a dealership and they said u had a cracked file injector line. They supposedly fixed the issue. Today it started stalling again and shut off in the middle of the highway and wouldn’t crank back up. Tried jumping battery and it would turn over but acted like it wasn’t getting any gas when trying to give gas and take off then it would shut off again. Had to get a tow back to dealer ship.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V273000 (Back Over Prevention), 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention), and 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the parts for the recall repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact stated that after the initial start, the back over the prevention camera displayed a black screen until the vehicle was restarted. The failure was intermittent. While driving out of a grocery store parking lot at approximately 5 - 10 MPH and attempting to accelerate into oncoming traffic, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was pushed to a nearby parking lot with the help of the contact's spouse. The contact used a diagnostic machine to perform a diagnostic test on the vehicle. The DTC for a faulty fuel system was retrieved. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who confirmed that parts for the recall repairs were not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issues. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.

ENGINE
Ford has issued a recall (24S55) stating the Intake valves on the ford bronco with engine2.7L and 3.0L will harden and crack or break and loss of power. I had the same issue in my 2021 Ford Bronco with the 2.3L engine while I was driving in the highway I got a check engine light then it started cutting out horribly so I slowed down to pull off the road through a metal gate that was open with a cattle guard and the engine died as I was turning in and loss power steering trying to turn the wheel back in time I didn’t and ended up side swiping the pole and knocking off my side mirror and damaging my front quarter panel along with the front door. No damage to the solid metal pole. But I took my vehicle to the local ford dealership to see what the issue was and at the time they should have gotten the recall and at least put two and two together and let ford know about the issue in the 2.3L also but they didn’t mention anything about the valve being broken but said it had no compression and the spark plug diode was broke off. I’ve never seen a diode and the diodes ground hook break off on its own it’s always been broken off from being hit by something but they said it needed a whole new engine for $13,000 so I took it to another mechanic since that’s always that dealerships go to answer for everything is it needs a new engine so the new mechanic did the same stuff and also used a bore scope but instead of just saying the cylinder was bad he seen the hole in the valve and said it just needs a new head with new valves so since I needed my ride to be able to get to work and for half the price they tore it down and sure enough the valve was cracked with a hole just as they said and just like the recall (24S55) but had that dealership paid attention to safety alerts and ran the issue up with ford and let them know the same issue had happened in the bronco with the 2.3L engines also I wouldn’t be writing this right now. I’d be putting a 5 star review on their page not a 1.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
While driving home in the evening I drove through a swarm of insects. I pushed the button to spray washer fluid and engage the wipers to clear the windshield. No fluid came out and the windshield became smeared there by obscuring visibility. I thought that odd as I always top off windshield washer fluid on all my vehicles as part of routine maintenance. When I arrived home I put approximately 1 gallon of fluid into the washer reservoir which quickly emptied onto the fender liner and the ground. Apparently there is a known defect with the washer fluid reservoir that causes it to split along the seam and empty its contents. I believe this could be a safety issue due to the flat upright design of the Bronco windshield making it a bug splat magnet and not being able to clear visibility. The Bronco is also marketed as an off-road vehicle and the windshield could be covered in mud or dust. There is no warning lamp for low washer fluid.

Windows are constantly getting uninitialized so that they don't bump down on opened to allow them to close properly with the frameless doors. This leaves a gap when closed and additionally they will automatically go all the way back down any time they are rolled all the way up. This is very hazardous when driving and needing to close the windows as you're forced to look backwards to see when they get close to the stop and release the button before it hits the top. This was reported to Ford on greater than 10 occasions since I took possession in Jan of 2022, first in March of 20222, and impacts all 4 windows. The dealer can resolve the issue by reinitializing through the computer they can plug into the vehicle and have installed some software updates as well as replaced some of the modules but the issue resurfaces a few days later. Sometimes I am able to resolve using the full reinitialization sequence that they shared with me when I had it there in April of this year but sometimes that fails. Prior to that it would eventually resolve following just a holding up and down of the button for approx. 5 secs at top or bottom. Here is a record of the occurrences with window impacted since I had it in the dealer in April of 2025. 5/2 passenger front (pf), 5/7 drivers back (db), 5/10 db, 5/12 db, 5/15 pf, 5/16 pf, 5/29 pb, 6/13 db, 6/17 pf, db, df, 7/13-7/30 pb, 7/24 db, took to dealer for restarts and software updates 7/30, 8/1 db. I kept a similar record in 2024 4/5 df, 4/6-10 db, 5/7 db, 5/18 pb, 5/22-6/6 pb, 6/6 df, 6/7 pb, 6/9-21 pb, 6/25-27 pb, 6/30-7/8 pb, 7/10-13 pb, 8/1 pb.
