The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle sputtered while accelerating or making a left or right turn. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle with a failed high-pressure purge valve. The high-pressure purge valve was replaced. The contact stated that after the repair, the check engine warning light remained illuminated, and the vehicle seemed as if the vehicle was going to stall after refueling the vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, who diagnosed a failed high-pressure sensor for the fuel injector. The vehicle was repaired, but the check engine warning light remained illuminated. While driving approximately 5 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate as needed. The contact pulled over to the side of the road, where the vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed failures with the alternator and suspension. The contact had the vehicle towed to a certified mechanic who completed the repairs. The dealer also retrieved DTC: P3402. The check engine warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact learned of a Customer Satisfaction Program however, the vehicle was not included. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was unknown.

My car broke down and couldn’t start. Leaving me stranded 6 hours away from my house. I had to stay in a hotel and get my car fixed the next day. It was a temporary fix because there is no solution for the problem. I had to pay for a new battery because there is not a fix for the problem.

- #11653594April 9, 2025VISIBILITY/WIPER
The bronco sport badlands has a purely cosmetic strip on the dash that is a reflective bright orange. Its like a thin ribbon that travels around the drivers area, when the sun is raising or setting that strip reflects back onto the inside of the windshield blocking vision. It changes depth perception massively and creates a line straight across the drivers field of vision. When the sun is up and clear it just normal reflects and can be blocked with sun glasses or such but the reflection periods absolutely can not. I am not alone in this, reddit, ford forums etc have multiple mentions of this. I have already been hit twice (both accidents other driver at fault) but I believe I could have avoided them with clear field of visions.

Towing truck came in the night the day after it happened and he jumped it and it started, drove my car really carefully back home and now I’m scared to use my car because I’m afraid it’ll leave me in the middle of the highway or what’s worse it can cause an accident and my kids inside . - #11653001April 6, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Purge valve went bad, it was causing the vehicle to try to stall and dropping down to very low rim, always happened after fueling and would sometimes hesitate to go when accelerator was pushed. I had it stall on my trying to pull on to [XXX] in Florida from an exit. That could have been very bad. And I've noticed way too many other people online and in forums having the same concern. Do to safety concerns i paid to have mine replaced but do not feel like it should have already went out this soon. The date i included below is for the last incident, this issues started over a year ago and has slowly gotten worse. I did mention this back then to my service dept but was told it just probably hadn't built up enough pressure in the tank yet after fueling. I Was in Reverse backing out and stopped with the brake and rolled the gear dial to drive until foot off brake and it stayed stuck in reverse and I moved backwards and hit a car behind me. I braked again and looked to make sure I was in drive, And I was. Then, i took my foot off thee brake and it moved forward. Also I notice a big delay in drive after having brake applied. I think the gears are sticking. Or even a 2-4 second delay to switch from gear to gear.

I start my car and can’t even get a mile without the service engine light coming on saying engine is over heating & that my coolant is over temperature. I’ve brought this to the dealership 3 times now and all they have done is reset my codes because they can’t figure out what’s wrong with it. That is not fixing it. I have two kids under two and I feel like this is incredibly dangerous thing to be playing with.

The steering is temporarily disabled when the vehicle is in the auto off/fuel saver mode. I had an approaching EMS vehicle that I was almost struck by because my vehicle was off due to that feature. The steering wheel was not responsive.
