The axle shaft is then reinstalled into the hub until it bottoms out. The tube flange inside diameter is lubricated with 75-85W sump lube (Fig. 4) to aid in O-ring guidance during reassembly.

Finally, the axle shaft, hub, and bearing assembly are reinstalled onto the shaft and into the tube, ensuring proper alignment of the wheel speed sensor hole. Four new Hex Flange Lock Nuts (Part No. 68003275AA) are installed. The parking brake cable, wheel speed sensor, brake caliper, and rotor are then reconnected and reinstalled, completing the repair for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler rear axle noise.
