After I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa with VIN: [XXX[ in April 2019, the water gained entry inside the car due to heavy rain a month later. The incident has continued to occur; Unfortunately, I had kept blaming it on the height between the parking ground and the car floorboard. The design flaws on the Versa allow water to collect below the windshield. When the collected water doesn't drain, so it flows into the car on the front passenger side floor below the compartment gloves area. It causes visibility problems during rainy and winter seasons since the inside car is not completely sealed causing insulation issues. I had to buy different products to address the visibility problems. My car got flooded last May 2022 to the point I had to get a cup to get some of the water out. I started hearing a sloshing sound and quirking sound when pressing on the brake not too long and so on. I initially paid $1,200 to repair the electrical problems to a Nissan dealer and later found out the harness needed to be replaced due to water damage costing $7,200. The design flaw made my car unsafe due to the visibility problem during inclement weather. There is a blog where 2014 through 2018 Nissan Versa owners describing the same issue I have been experiencing. I am dumbfounded Nissan has never bothered to address this issue for so long; very few people have a disposable income to pay for repairs or constantly buy a new car in less than 5 years. The sad thing, I had to borrow money from my life insurance to pay the car off. I know Nissan will use the inspection defense. Please keep in mind all the cars that have been recalled before passed inspection, so it is not a valid point. POWER TRAIN, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
After having my transmission replaced with a used CVT transmission on Dec 2021, I went to leave the transmission shop only to have no power. When I gave my vehicle gas, there was no power it would not go forward or backwards. The code repeatedly coming up was P2101. My car was in the shop for 4 months with Williams Transmission in Park Hills, MO 63601. (573) 431-6570. Every time Willie would call & say it’s fixed & I would go try driving g home, again same issue. Finally on March 23, 2022 I was called once again to come pick up my car after hack v another used CVT Transmission put in still the same code P2101 was coming up with the check engine light. It took me 40 mins to go home occasionally getting evcrlation to make it home, it should’ve took no more than 10 mins from his shop to my house.. I paid $3000 to have transmission replaced and still isn’t running correctly. I lose excelaration on highway, county & city tosds. I never know when!! It’s a big issue & major safety issues & concerns

POWER TRAIN
My 2013 Nissan Versa has 80,000 miles. Since the car had 72,000 the transmission started to lurch forward while coming to a stop. This lurch has pushed me out into traffic on at least 5 times. As you come to a stop, and you think you are stopping it lunges forward placing others at serious risk. I must be very cautious when approaching sidewalks where pedestrians may be as well as oncoming traffic. The transmission also stalls and loses power when trying to accelerate. When I pull out sometimes the car does not move and will hesitate before it goes. This is extremely dangerous when pulling into oncoming traffic. The transmission "CVT" is a danger to people and should be replaced.

I TOOK THE 2013 NISSAN VERSA TO RICART NISSAN DEALERSHIP ON 2 DIFFERENT OCCASION DUE TO THE CAR WAS SHIFTING DIFFERENTLY AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR THE ONLY THING THEY TOLD ME WAS THE CAR HAD A CVT TRANSMISSION AND THAT IS WHY II FEEL THE JERK IS BECAUSE A CVT TRANSMISSION YOU WILL FEEL THE GEARS CHANGING AND THAT IT IS DIFFERENT THAT AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVIING ON THE FREEWAY AND THE CAR STARTED JERKING AND SO PULLED OVER AND AND PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND THEN SHE CALLED ME HER MOTHER [XXX] TO GET HELP OFF OF THE FREEWAY. WHEN I GOT THERE A POLICE CAR PULLED UP BEHIND US AND PUT HIS LIGHTS ON AND CAME TO THE CAR AND SAID HE WOULD SATY TO KEEP US FROM GETTING HIT ON THE FREEWAY FOR OUR SAFETY UNTIL WE GET THE CAR TOWED.. I TIRED TO PUT THE CAR IN GEAR THE CAR WOULDN'T GO INTO ANY THAT LET ME KNOW THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS OUT CALLED INSURANCE COMPANY TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO MY MECHANIC WHICH HE INFORMED ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS OUT AND THAT IT WOULD NEED A NEW ONE. I CALLED THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND CHANGED THE COVERAGE ECAUSE WAS NOT ABLE AT THE TIME TO GET IT FIXED .THE CAR IS CURRENTLY AT A-TEAM TRANSMISSION GET A NEW ONE PUT IN. THERE WAS NO WARNING LAMPS, MESSAGES OR SYMPTOMS OF THE PROBLEM PRIOR TO FAILURE. I CANT BELIEVE THAT THIS STUFF HAPPENS AND PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ARE TAKING ADVANTEGE OF. My 2014 Nissan Versa has been acting strange after giving a family member a jump. Now my transmission seems to slip; I would put my foot on the gas and the rpm will sometimes be stuck at 3 for longer than normal. In addition, my back driver seat lock/latch stopped unlocking all of a sudden.

SEAT BELTS
The passenger seat belt keeps locking up anytime me and my wife put the seat belt on. For the seat belt to loosen we have to unclip the seat belt but anytime we even stretch the seat belt and then put it back in the clip it tightens up again. This is when we are stationary and not moving but it also happens even when we are just driving and I’m not even pressing the brake pedal when it happens.

SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
while in reverse the automatic braking system locked up. There was nothing behind me or in my camera visually. Then I went to pull forward, the panel lights lit up, and, crash lights front can't up and the radar front light. My car has stayed in the shop at Nissan since January 2022 to present except for 4 weeks. Nissan refuses to deem as a lemon, yet everything is pointing to what other owners have experienced with this particular car. When those brakes locked up my car is no longer stable to drive, yet Nissan is saying it's a Shock on the right side. A shock doesnt go out at this early in a brand new car. Nor does all of the components mentioned.We take meticulous care of our vehicle. I have a case opened with Nissan USA Consumer affairs currently. Car is still in shop.

Continuous Variable Transmission Assembly Failure; Engine Stalled on the Highway; around 4/25/2022 No warning lights came up. Took it to the Nissan Dealer; They charged $495 for reprogramming Computer and Test Drive. The problem came up PF17F0 - Judder. CVT Assembly has to be replaced. The car has run only 33,000 miles and is good condition. The dealer says to REPLACE the Transmission with a new ONE. They stopped installing REFURBISHED Continuous Variable Transmission Assemblyand will only sell the new ones for others to repair cars. It costs $6,500/== More than the worth of the cars. THEY WILL NOT SELL PART - creating Monopoly.

The Airbag light is stuck on solid(its accessable). The seatbelts lock without toucking them(its accessable). The trunk wont unlock electrical problem through wire harness(its accessable) My safety and everyone else safety is in danger with these recalls that the dealer wont acknowledge on my 2007 Nissan Versa still in 2022. The problems are on all nissan versa models through 2007 - 2012 have been confirmed by dealer and my vehicle is a 2007 nissan versa hatchback and it says theres no recalls for my VIN which Nissan needs to be sued for this or actually fix there recalls. My vehicle has not been inspected by dealer, police, or insurance. But It has been checked by professional mechanics. no lights before problem started. just came on out of no where Airbag light never blinks just stays on solid after car is turned on. and the trunk worked just fine for 15 years until yesterday. the trunk has some electrical problem after mechanic inspected it. Fix these problems. My safety is in danger and so is everyone else.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? - Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking; went to auto service center to fix rest of accident body damage, unsure if they addressed these specific issues until I pick up the car this weekend --- How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? - Myself and one other passenger (child) were safely secured while driving, as was the other driver as reported; Safety did feel even more assuring prior to impact, as we were under the impression that FCW and AEB features were going to activate --- Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? - It has been reported to both insurance and auto service center, but not reported as of this writing if issues were addressed --- Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? - Yes, it is currently at auto service center, in preparation for pickup this weekend --- Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? - No. Prior to this accident, I have seen both the FCW and AEB features deploy without any issues when in situation where they would normally.
