  ProPILOT Assist Owner?s Manual Update Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is providing owners of approximately 1,377 MY2018 Nissan Rogue (T32) vehicles with an Owner?s Manual addendum booklet. The addendum booklet corrects the description of how the customer should activate the Intelligent Lane Intervention (ILI) function on vehicles equipped with ProPILOT Assist. Customers will be asked to place the addendum booklet inside the Owner?s Manual for future reference. A copy of the addendum booklet is included with this announcement. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if new vehicles in their inventory are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC626. - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information - SERV COMM will only be active for vehicles in new vehicle dealer inventory 2. If a dealer receives and addendum booklet for a vehicle they have retailed, currently have in their pre-owned inventory, or placed into NRC Service, the dealer should either forward the Owner?s Manual addendum to the current owner or add the addendum booklet to the Owner?s Manual of any vehicles they currently control. 3. Customers receiving this addendum booklet have been advised to insert this booklet into their Owner?s Manual.

  2016-2018 NISSAN CONNECT NAVIGATION SYSTEM SOFTWARE UPDATE TO RESOLVE SEVERAL ISSUES This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with navigation system. IF YOU CONFIRM One or more of the following is occurring: - The navigation unit intermittently reboots: - At random or while listening to SXM or on a Bluetooth hands-free phone call. - Loud booming noise from speakers while on a Bluetooth hands-free call. - Navigation unit screen illumination does not change at night as designed. - AM/FM signal strength issues. - A status message ?Voice Recognition is initializing, please wait? is displayed when pressing the voice recognition button 2-3 minutes after the ignition is first turned ON. NOTE: If the message is displayed within the first 2-3 minutes this is normal. The voice recognition is loading phonebook contacts into its system. AND - The Software version has been confirmed as ?needs update? (refer to page 4). ACTION - Perform the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 3 and reprogram the Navigation system with USB memory stick shown below.

  NISSAN; SERVICE INFORMATION FOR DTCS B2EF0 AND B130C This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with Telematics. SERVICE INFORMATION Diagnostic information in the Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) for the following DTCs may be missing or incorrect: -B2EF0 ? INTERNAL BATTERY (CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD) -B130C ? TCU (Telematics Control Unit) PAIRING ERROR If one of these DTCs is stored, follow the steps listed below along with the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to compete the required repairs. DTC B2FE0 ? INTERNAL BATTERY (CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD): 1. Start the engine and let it idle for 30 minutes (to allow charging of the TCU internal battery). -2018 LEAF only: Put the vehicle in Ready to Drive mode (depress the brake pedal and depress the power [?ignition?] switch) for 30 minutes. 2. Verify the DTC can be erased. 3. If the DTC will not erase, replace the TCU. DTC B130C: 1. Collect all keys, and then re-register them to the vehicle. 2. Verify the DTC can be erased. 3. If the DTC will not erase, replace the TCU. NOTE: The related Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) will be updated at a later date. CLAIMS INFORMATION Refer to the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and submit a claim for the repairs performed.

  Service Department Wi-Fi Requirement - Password Protected Beginning with the 2018 MY Rogue, the NissanConnect service has the ability to update its system's firmware through a Wi-Fi connection. A Wi-Fi connection can be made to the vehicle for updating NAVI map data and system software, or using online services, such as Online Search or Premium Traffic. Workshop Wi-Fi network must be configured as WPA2 password-protected to allow connection with the 2018 MY Rogue and future equipped models. For connecting to these vehicles, please confirm with your dealer network administrator to ensure your Wi-Fi is arranged as password-protected. If you need to add password-protected, please update the login credentials on any other workshop equipment connected to the Wi-Fi network. As an example, listed below is instructions on connecting to the Wi-Fi network through the 2018 MY Rogue screen display. For additional information on this new Wi-Fi connectivity feature, refer to the vehicle NissanConnect Owner's Manual.
