Summary2015-2020 MURANO; ENGINE SUPPORT TOOLS FOR CVT REMOVAL - AWD SERVICE INFORMATION The Engine Support Tool and Engine Support Bracket are now available to allow the CVT to be removed from the Applied Vehicles, without removing the engine (Figure 1). The service procedure for using these tools is located in the 2021 Murano ESM. Refer to the 2021 Murano ESM to remove the CVT using the Engine Support Tools. Due to a supplier issue that has since been resolved, the subject vehicles may have been produced with incorrectly forged transverse links that could reduce the structural integrity of the transverse links. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. Once an automatic collision notification is performed, the function becomes disabled. The TCU must be reset to re-enable the automatic collision notification function.
