INTELLIGENT KEY DOES NOT WORK AFTER BATTERY REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION If the Intelligent Key of an APPLIED VEHICLE does not work after replacing the battery, inspect the positive (+) terminals. If the battery side of the Intelligent Key is held by pinching down on the terminals while removing the battery, it is possible to bend the terminals down far enough that they will not touch the contacts on the other half of the Intelligent Key. If the terminals are found to be bent down, pry them back up so that they will come in contact with the other half of the Intelligent Key?s contacts. - Refer to the photos on the following pages.

TAKATA INFLATOR FIELD QUALITY PARTS COLLECTION INITIATIVE 2009-2010 370Z INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this Takata Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative to replace the passenger side air bag inflator on certain pre-selected 2009-2010 370Z vehicles in the states of Florida, Georgia and New York. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. Collected parts will be sent to TK Services for analysis. TK Services has issued return packaging, shipping labels, documents, and directions that must be used and followed in order to properly carry out this initiative. TK Services? documentation is attached and is part of this bulletin. NOTE: - This activity will expire when sufficient quantities have been collected. - As part of this initiative, a complementary engine oil and filter change may be performed. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER For this initiative, Nissan has assigned identification numbers P8309 and P8310. The correct number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this initiative. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within the range of this initiative that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

NOTE: If this should occur, the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit is in Diagnostic Mode and needs to be returned to User Mode. ACTION 1. Use CONSULT-III plus to check for Air Bag DTCs and perform repairs as needed. 2. Return the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit to User Mode.

INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM CHANGE SERVICE INFORMATION The applied vehicles have undergone changes to the Intelligent Key system to improve vehicle security. The changes involve a different security protocol, commonly known as cryptology. IMPORTANT: - The two systems use a different Intelligent Key, BCM, and Intelligent Key antennas. The components of the new and old systems are NOT interchangeable. - Once an Intelligent Key is programmed to a vehicle with the NEW Intelligent Key system, it cannot be reprogrammed to any other vehicle.

2018 370Z; BIRD DROPPING REMOVAL FROM HERITAGE EDITION GRAPHICS This bulletin applies only to Heritage Edition vehicles. SERVICE INFORMATION The following additional steps beyond the Owner?s Manual instructions may be required to clean bird droppings from heritage graphics. 1. Fill a container with warm water from the sink. 2. Pour the warm water on the bird droppings to soften and allow to soak for approximately 1 minute. 3. Using a soft cloth, carefully rub the area to remove the droppings. NOTE: Occasionally, wrinkles may occur from the warm water due to deformation of the clear outer layer of the graphic. If wrinkles occur, warm the graphic using one of the following methods: 1. Let the vehicle stand outside in direct sunlight for approximately 30 minutes in 85°F ambient temperature or higher. 2. If ambient temperature is too low, use a heat gun on low setting to gently warm the wrinkled area.
