SummarySome 2025-2026 Aviator vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0103:00:80 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to a software update delivered via over the air (OTA). If multiple DTCs are present due to other concerns, diagnose those prior to addressing U0103:00:80. If other DTCs are not present, clear DTC U0103:00:80 before following the workshop manual (WSM) DTC diagnostics. If DTC U0103:00:80 does not return after clearing, no further action is required. Return the vehicle to the customer. If DTC U0103:00:80 does return after clearing, proceed with normal diagnostics in the WSM. Ford Engineering is currently developing a software update to resolve this condition. The software update is expected to be released and delivered via OTA in Q2 of 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information.

SummarySome 2025 Navigator and 2025-2026 Aviator vehicles equipped with 28 radio speakers (minor feature code IDBBN) may exhibit a no audio/sound condition with no communication with the audio digital signal processing (DSP) module. This may be due to the software in the DSP. To determine if it is a software concern, remove the DSP fuse from the battery junction box (BCMC) (F40 for Aviator or F5 for Navigator). Inspect the fuse for an open and ensure the fuse has proper blade contact. After one minute, reinstall the good fuse. If the concern is still present or a fuse concern is found, continue with normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, Section 415-00 Information and Entertainment System > General Information > Diagnosis and Testing. If communication has been re-established with the DSP module, engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected by Q2 2026. Replacement or reprogramming of the DSP will not resolve this condition. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available

It is not possible to run the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) Programmable Module Installation (PMI) application on this Steering Gear. If later software is available, this PSCM can be updated by running the PSCM Software Update application."<br /><br /> This may be due to the calibration in the PSCM. When installing a replacement steering gear, make sure the part number begins with prefix "S1MZ". If DTC U3000:96 previously set after programming the PSCM, continue with normal diagnostics outside this article. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 211-02 > Diagnosis and Testing. Improvements have been made to the diagnostics for this DTC.

SummarySome 2020-2025 various Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system (BLIS) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may also be accompanied by diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B118C:11 and/or B118C:15 stored in the driver door module (DDM), and/or B118D:11 and/or B118D:15 stored in the passenger door module (PDM). This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z-14A411-B to resolve the concern.

This may be due to the steering column tilt angle and/or driver seat position (height and backrest angle). Replacing components is not expected to resolve this issue. Optimize driver head position by adjusting the steering column tilt angle and driver seat position (height and backrest angle) to ensure the driver status monitor camera (DSMC) mounted on top of the steering column has a clear view of the drivers entire face from chin to forehead. Provide both Explorer and Aviator customers with a printout of the Lincoln Aviator Owners Manual page titled, Lincoln BlueCruise > How Does BlueCruise Work. The Explorer Owner's Manual is in process of being updated. If the customers symptom persists after the above adjustments have been performed, continue with normal diagnostics found in the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-03B.

Replacing or reprogramming the accessory protocol interface module (APIM) will not resolve this condition and no diagnosis or repair is necessary. Inform the customer that a future Google Maps update for iPhone is anticipated to enable this functionality. This update will be delivered directly through the Google Maps app on their iPhone and will not require an over the air (OTA) software update or dealership visit.
