The radio software will be updated from S21D.5 and S23.13 to S24.18 The national launch for the FOTA is expected to begin on:WS - May 24, 2022 WL - May 31, 2022 RU - S21D.5 to S24.18, June 06, 2022 RU - S23.13 to S24.18, May 21, 2022 Customers may experience one or more of the following:Surround sound inoperative. Blu-ray DVD unavailable. Listen in/Mirror feature inoperative. PHEV radio does not turn off when opening door or after charging. No Verbal warnings on navigation. Audio Overlap between sources. Radio doesn?t recognize the vehicle is in park. No keyboard pop up, vehicles setting are hidden. Radio presets are not saving. Audio mute on calls (Phone, SOS and Ecall). Radio resets. Radio screen freezes. The rear view camera display, will work properly if the radio display screen freezes. Audio disruptions. Unable to connect compatible wireless connectivity device. Wireless connectivity disconnecting. Improvements are included with this update:Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® improvements. Voice Recognition improvements. Uconnect Phone improvements.

  Power Side Step Module (PSSM) Update This bulletin involves reprogramming the PSSM with the latest available software. The customer may experience one or more of the following: The power side steps still deploy/retract after being disabled (i.e. PowerSide Step Store Mode) from the radio settings, this is observed when the vehicle just wakes up from sleep. The PSSM will not be able to enter sleep mode (resulting in a batterydrain) the moment the power side step radio setting is changed from ?Auto? to ?Store? mode and closing a door at the same time (changing radio setting within five seconds after a door is closed).

  Rear Tail Lamp Condensation Clearing Procedure This bulletin is to communicate the procedure for rear tail lamp condensation clearing. Some customers may report that on occasion, vehicle exterior tail lamp assemblies are fogged with a light layer of condensation on the inside of the lenses. This may be reported after the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operatingtemperature, turned off, and then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a vehicle wash). Lens fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been parked outside overnight (i.e., a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). This will usually clear as atmospheric conditions change to allow the condensation to change back into avapor.   Flash: Amplifier (AMP) Diagnostic and System Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the AMP with the latest available software. The customer may experience one or more of the following: Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) drone noise between 950 RPM and 1,000 RPM, during a start up. Battery draining. Blinking odometer. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs have been set: The AMP may set B221F-00 (Amplifier Internal) erroneously, it does not affect Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) performance. If B221F-00 is a stored fault update the AMP with appropriate software. If the fault is active, follow normal DTC diagnostics. Use inspection LOP (18-60-07-AF) to close the active RSU. B2204-00 - ECU Configuration Mismatch.
