SummaryAudio Amplifier ***** Retailer Announcement ***** INFINITI is conducting a quality action on 18 specific 2022 QX60 (L51) vehicles to inspect the Audio Amplifier and, if necessary, reprogram or replace the audio amplifier. Due to an internal software concern, the audio amplifier may stop producing sound. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in retailer inventory or assigned and in transit to the retailer. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. PC870 ⢠New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified by using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information ⢠Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for QA applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so the campaign can be closed on Service Comm. ***** Retailer Responsibility ***** It is the retailerâs responsibility to check Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign using the appropriate campaign I.D for the inspection status on each affected vehicle currently in new vehicle inventory. SummaryBATTERY QUICK CHARGE NOTICE SERVICE INFORMATION When charging the vehicleâs 12 volt battery with the high amperage quick charge function, the ignition should never be ON, or turned ON, while charging. Attempting to start the vehicle, or turning the ignition ON, while using the high amperage quick charge could potentially damage the fuel pump control module. ï· Only turn the ignition ON when either the ESM or a technical service bulletin service procedure states to do so, and only while using a battery maintainer or smart charger set to reflash mode, or a similar setting. ï· Battery voltage should not exceed 16V during a reprograming operation.

SummaryBCM SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION ï· When replacing the BCM, ALWAYS replace it with a new one. ï· Module configuration MUST BE performed before pairing the BCM and Intelligent Key unit. Once the BCM and Intelligent Key unit have been paired, portions of the configuration are locked and can no longer be changed. ï· When replacing the BCM, it is critical to follow the work procedure as detailed in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: ELECTRICAL & POWER CONTROL > BODY CONTROL SYSTEM > BASIC INSPECTION > ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING BCM To prevent damage to the BCM, perform module configuration BEFORE pairing the BCM and Intelligent Key unit.

SummaryCOMBINATION METERS CANNOT BE SWAPPED SERVICE INFORMATION Do not swap combination meter modules between APPLIED VEHICLES vehicles for any reason. Due to a new electrical architecture, the vehicle mileage is now stored in multiple control modules. When a mileage difference is detected between modules, the module with the lower value will be immediately overwritten, replacing it with the higher mileage. If a new combination meter module is installed, it will automatically be overwritten to the correct vehicle mileage.
