My 2026 Hyundai Palisade (Calligraphy trim) received the software remedy associated with Hyundai Safety Recall 296 / NHTSA Recall 26V160. Prior to the recall update, the powered second- and third-row seat-folding switches operated with one press, after which the seat completed its movement automatically. Following the recall software update, Hyundai changed the controls so that the operator must continuously hold the switch for the entire duration of seat movement, and releasing the switch immediately stops the seat. I understand that the recall was intended to address occupant/object detection associated with powered seat movement. However, I am concerned that Hyundai's remedy eliminates significant functionality rather than correcting the underlying detection system while preserving the vehicle's original power-seat operation. I purchased the vehicle with one-touch power-folding seats as an advertised feature. The recall remedy materially alters that functionality and also disables or restricts other powered-seat functions that were present when the vehicle was sold. I request that NHTSA review whether Hyundai's remedy for Recall 26V160 is an adequate and appropriate permanent remedy, and whether Hyundai should instead be required to develop a corrected seat-control system that safely detects occupants and obstructions while restoring the vehicle's original one-touch power-folding functionality.

I have a 2026 Hyundai palisade- at the time of the incident, the car has 7,500 or so miles. I had a slow leak in one of the tires and took it to a tire repair shop- he pointed that not one, but all four tires had sidewalk bubbles in them, with some tires having more than one bubble. He said it was highly unusual for that to occur and suggested reaching out to Pirelli and/or the dealer for warranty service on them. I reached out to Pirelli and they advised me to take it to the dealer. The dealer claimed it was a Pirelli issue and I’d need to contact them directly and were unable to service the tires. The person at the dealer also said it was unusual and mentioned that others with the same tires had the same issue. I’m let scrambling my head trying to figure all this out.

After parking and restarting the vehicle, the failure was self-corrected, and the vehicle operated normally. When using "Lane Keeping Assistance" the vehicle pulls slightly to the right and continues correcting itself creating a snake like pattern. This is unsettling and other vehicles that I own do not have this pattern including the same model from previous years. This feature is design for safety, however when "Lane Keeping Assistance" in operation the pulling to the right looks like you are going into the other lane then correct's itself and repeats not giving the feel of safety. I have taken it do the dealer and file a report to hyundai both parties had stated they cannot do anything without an error code. I have seen other customers complain about this issue with my make/model. Please help correct this issue. Thank you
