[XXX] vin has the same issue for transmission failure as for the recall notice issued for all the honda Honda has issued recalls for certain Honda Civic models with Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) due to software issues that may affect the transmission's performance and durability. For example, in 2015, Honda recalled the 2014–2015 Honda Civic and 2015 Fit due to an issue with the CVT control software. In some CVT operation modes, the software was programmed to use high hydraulic pressure, which could put a lot of stress on the drive pulley shaft. I am going down the road at 65mph and car loses all power, compression, speed... Starts shuttering, stuttering & shaking the car then it dies... It doesn't matter the conditions, whether I'm in city or on road... It does it anywhere and unexpectedly, never know when it's going to do it but it's dangerous it's not just once, it's every time I drive the car! Not just once but several times!

Vechicle was taken because the air blower was blowing hot. There is a recall the condenser on these cars but in addition the evaporator of the A/C equipement also has gone bad. They have said it needs to be replaced. The vechicel is still being paid for and its only has 38,593 miles. It definitely a manufacturing issue. They need to include this in their recalls.

The electric power steering is bad in this model vehicle. Once the car is warmed up, it begins to have a stick/jerky steering wheel. It is difficult to make minor adjustments while driving straight, as the wheel jerks one way or the other when there is a problem. There is a recall on the EPS on 2018 Honda Civics, however my VIN does not fall into the recall, and it should because it is a faulty part and is unsafe to drive. The sticky steering wheel will even show itself when in park. Steering should be smooth and this should not be an issue on a car with such low mileage. I have taken the vehicle to a certified Honda mechanic and they recommended replacing the EPS rack. This should not be an issue on a car this new.

I was sold a vehicle with no seatbelt in the middle of back seat . I had called the dealer that sold me the car to explain and they told me that why it took me this long to say something that now they think I took the buckle off myself. Very inappropriate for the manager to tell me that nonsense. I don’t sit in the back so I wouldn’t know until I had to buckle my niece in and I couldn’t because there is no buckle in my middle seat in the back. This is a safety hazard and feel very discourage to even make the report because nobody seem to want to help me!

Vehicle dashboard where speedometer is displayed went completely black while driving. The AC stopped blowing cold air and red flashing warning light came on with the word brake. I didn’t not lose control of the vehicle and was able to get home safely by driving slowly avoiding traffic around me. Signal lights nor hazard lights worked either. The car would not turn off unless I pressed the brake at the same time with the ignition button several times. The hatchback would not open either prior to getting it towed directly to the nearest Honda dealership for inspection and repair.

Rack and pinion/ Gear box repaired. Honda already had a recall on the gear box. According to dealership the part in question was not under recall warranty and not covered. I strongly feel this part should be included in recall. I feel either Honda or the dealership is trying to get around from repairing a faulty part when they already had a recall on another part for same issue.

My vehicles Body Control Module has malfunctioned and now I have to get a new one. When driving my car will begin to flash all of the warning lights including the power steering, break system, TMPS system and the immobilizer light. This is distracting while driving and it makes me feel like I am going to crash and I could injure myself or others on the road when these lights are distracting and I am not in a safe place to pull over. Honda Marysville has inspected the vehicle and has confirmed that the Body Control Module has failed. A bunch of alerts began to pop up and I was unsure of which ones to fix. I checked all my tires and they were within normal range so I was confused why my car was showing me the warning light. There were no other warnings that were shown. My car alarm would go off and the lights on the dash would flash when I turned my car off.
