The infotainment touchscreen experiences ‘ghost touching,’ where the screen activates functions without driver input. The system randomly changes screens, activates apps, changes music/navigation, and becomes unresponsive while driving. This creates a significant driver distraction and safety concern. The issue occurs intermittently and has continued despite troubleshooting/reset attempts. Dealership acknowledged the issue as ‘ghost touch.’ Very disappointing that this isnt a recall. Having this problem not even 6 months after purchasing this car for over 30k

While driving on the Florida Turnpike Friday 05/15/2026, sunroof spontaniously shattered. It was a clear day and no cars around me. I have paid to get it fixed but I believe this is a saftey issue and should be recalled and money spent reimbursed..

This car has well known issues with the infotainment system probably since it came out and nothing has been fixed. There are constant ghost touches/glitching, especially when it gets hotter outside. Now after owning it for a year, Apple CarPlay freaks out. I’ll be listening to music and then suddenly the screen goes black. The buttons still work on the blacked out screen but nothing will pop back up. I had my dealership take a look and this is an ongoing issue with Honda. I’ve seen car forums talk about the same thing for years and nothing is being resolved permanently. This can be a distraction safety hazard. My other issue is the lane keep assist. It doesn’t detect lanes very well, especially if it’s faded or has sealed cracks. I could be driving the freeway speed limit and then the car suddenly brakes hard. I’m lucky no one was directly behind me when these incidents have happened or else I would’ve been rear-ended. Safety hazard for both complaints.

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid experiences a severe, loud knocking noise when turning the steering wheel while stationary or at low speeds. The dealership attempted to grease the components but the mechanical knock remains. This is a known EPS/steering rack defect on the 11th generation Accord and poses a steering failure/binding safety risk at highway speeds.

the steering on the '25 Hybrid Sport L is a little loose? Even small movements make the car drift, and it's hard to keep it straight. the feels like the car won’t track straight. The Lane keep assist does not work like the 10th gen. It’s like a ping pong bouncing off the lines. Who’s experiencing this as well.

My car started blinking the Check engine light when I am going 40-50 mph. Got the vehicle scanned and the code showed “misfire cylinder 4” so i replaced the spark plugs and the coil on cylinder 4. Vehicle ran fine for about 3 weeks. Same issue happened again. I did research and found that alot of honda vehicles with the 1.5 turbo has had head gasket issues. I took it to a mechanic and got it diagnosed. There was no coolant when they checked as well as put the camera down cylinder 4 and seen fluids in the cylinder

"A manufacturer Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware deployment has caused a root-level cryptographic security certificate mismatch between the Audio Unit and the central CAN Gateway, matching Honda Tech Line Article A29051. This network failure has forced the vehicle's VSP (Vehicle Sound Device for Pedestrians) Safety Module into a permanent hard offline (NG) state, operating the vehicle out of compliance with FMVSS No. 141. The manufacturer (American Honda Case #[Your Case Number]) and authorized dealership (Heritage Honda Parkville) have been provided video proof but have actively refused to schedule the vehicle for a high-priority warranty repair or issue a safe alternative loaner vehicle, leaving a safety defect active on public roads."

My car infotainment system keeps on having a "Ghost Touch" and it keeps on being a distraction when im using the GPS and it is a hazard being on the road especially in [XXX] where drivers are reckless. Other people have been having same issue, at least 80% that i have seen in person and online. This should be on a recall or at least have honda figure out the issue since theyre selling there cars over 30k+ it should st least be working for a good while and not a hazard on the road. I have had my vehicle in the dealer on 4 or 5 occasions, where the issue persisted, where the steering wheel made a clicking noise. I was able to duplicate the issue for the dealer a few times, and they were unable to fix it. The dealer replaced the master cylinder, the steering rack was adjusted, and still the issue persists. After many trips to the dealer, I got sick and tired and got into an argument with the dealer, and the dealer refused to work on my car any longer. I am stuck now with a steering issue that appears to be affecting a lot of other and they refuse to help me get it fixed.

- #11737869May 14, 2026FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
I was driving down the highway going 70 mph on my way home from work and my cars engine shut down and I pulled to the side of the road as safe as I could. Went into limp mode and I was not able to drive it home. Gave a check engine light. I had to pull the car home with a truck. I bought an OBD code reader and it was giving the code POO87. Doing research this code is for low pressure at the fuel rail. I found that this is a common problem for this car. Specifically the high and low pressure fuel pumps which currently have recalls. When searching with my VIN # It does not pull anything up. This could have been disastrous.

The contact owns a 2021 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the brakes would suddenly apply, stopping the vehicle immediately. The failure had become more persistent. The contact would immediately apply the accelerator, and the vehicle would gradually accelerate forward. The traction control failure, brake system failure, cruise control, and the mediation light were illuminated, all related to the various drive assistance systems within the vehicle. When attempting to shift from the sport mode to economy or regular modes, it shows as unable or failure. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

First incident, I purchased my vehicle in November 2022 in March 2023 my transmission failed. When replaced, the dealer didn't connect all hoses causing more issues and now my car struggles to shift. Dealerships made aware several time. Second incident, over the past year my infotainment system has been glitching. Switching between all settings, from the radio to the Bluetooth, screen freezing, etc. Imagine driving for hours with continuous beeping. Dealer replaced the screen and still no resolution. Dealer claims that they're investigating the issue but still hasn't.

Brand new 2024 Honda Accord touring purchased on Oct.3, 2023. Started having issues with the braking system around June 18, 2024. I contacted Sons Honda where the car was purchased. Sons told me to contact American Honda. I contacted American Honda and we were in a back and forth conversation for 18 months. until they offered me $3000, which was not enough to start to fix the several other issues with the brand new car (lemon). Luckily, no accidents have happened yet. I would like to mediate with American Honda, NTSB, and myself for at least $6,000 , so I can start to have the vehicle repaired. Along with the other minor issues I have with the brand new car (lemon). The vehicle has a host of recalls that makes the car more unsafe to operate.

I am the owner of a 2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid. When driving at very low speeds, especially while parking or turning the steering wheel in tight maneuvers, the steering system produces a noticeable knocking and clunking noise. The noise can also be felt through the steering wheel. The vehicle was previously inspected by an authorized Honda dealer, and the steering gearbox (steering rack) was replaced under the factory warranty due to this issue. After approximately 20,000 miles, the exact same problem has returned. The condition is most noticeable at low speeds and during parking maneuvers when turning the steering wheel left or right. There are no warning lights or messages on the dashboard. The issue has been confirmed previously by a Honda dealer through the original warranty repair. Because the same steering-related problem has reappeared after replacement of a major steering component, I am concerned about the durability and safety of the steering system. I am submitting this complaint so that NHTSA can investigate whether the 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid may have a recurring defect in the steering gearbox or related steering components.

- #11736561May 8, 2026POWER TRAIN, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, SEAT BELTS
I bought my vehicle around May 2024. Initially, everything seemed fine. However, I noticed that my car was starting to slow down and would enter limp mode, preventing me from exceeding a certain mileage. Subsequently, all the lights on my dashboard began flashing, prompting me to pull over and call a mechanic shop. I had all the necessary maintenance and repairs performed as per the plan. After starting the vehicle, all the lights turned off, and it drove smoothly. A few weeks later, all the lights came back on again, and nothing showed on the OB2 Reader, which I thought was odd because something shouldve popped up if all the lights on my dashboard was going all crazy. The mechanic said the same thing and maybe thought it was the battery, sensors going bad, or even the wiring. But he checked everything and said he didnt find any issues. So I went home and the lights on the dashboard stayed on for 30 seconds and then turned off after I started the car. The lights turning on all at once on the dashboard became more frequent and this time, the check engine light illuminated, indicating a misfiring issue. I took the vehicle to a mechanic shop for a thorough inspection, and they made a few minor adjustments. However, two months later, the same problem recurred. All the lights came on again, and the vehicle misfired once more, accompanied by the check engine light. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the issue was a head gasket leak. Additionally, the seat belt alert for the passenger and rear seats, as well as the child car seat, failed to function properly.

Both my Road Departure Mitigation and Collision Mitigation Braking System both randomly turn off and show “setting incomplete” when I attempt to put them from off to on. After 5-7 days of normal driving both systems will turn back on and thereafter work for 5-7 days before turning off once again. I have not been involved in any accidents. I’m afraid off unprovoked braking from these electrical safety support systems not working correctly causing possible serious injury to me and others and also causing me emotional mental anxiety while driving due to documentation of these issues in my specific Honda causing possible accidents due to the faulty safety support systems I’m experiencing.

Thank god nothing has happened but almost. I bought my car brand new and 2 weeks into having it I have been having issues with the infotainment system. Its very distracting. Sometimes it distracts me so much that I swerve while driving trying to stop it. It also is interfering with my experience listening to music. Something needs to be done as im not the only one having this experience.

I was driving on the interstate heading to work and suddenly heard an intense loud pop like a gunshot. My sunroof shattered right on top of me and all over the inside of my car. Thankfully I was able to safely pull off to the shoulder but it could've caused a serious incident.
