I cannot even drive my car anymore, the speakers play non stop static noise that is so loud it scared my child and almost caused me to get into an accident having super sensitive ears. I had to pull over to wait for help. It’s not fair for any of us to have to pay over a grand for a failing head unit caused from poor manufacturing and simply the way the car was designed. Pulling the fuse is the only way to get it to stop but the second you put it back in it starts up again. After pulling the fuse you lose all safety features, back up camera, side camera, parking sensors etc. took my car to a Honda dealer and they told my id have to replace the whole head unit because they fail. It is a known and very common problem that will eventually cause an accident like it almost did me. I do not understand how theirs not a recall when multiple have had the same issue. It’s clearly not users fault.

The right-hand-side rear seat belt buckle has been under the seat ever since the vehicle was purchased in November 2024. I did not notice it at first. Recently, when I started dropping my daughter off at school, I noticed it. I tried pulling the buckle up, but it's completely stuck under the seat. I asked a local mechanic to pull it out. He gave me an estimate of $1000 because it requires disassembling the seat to remove the buckle. Now, I avoid using the vehicle to drop off my daughter. When I have to use the vehicle, I use the left-side buckle with the right-side strap. This is completely the manufacturer's incompetence and neglect toward passenger safety.

I took my car in because the electric parking brake warning appeared while driving. I also looked it up and saw many others were having this issue. So basically Honda charged me for something that’s an ongoing Honda issue and passed it off as a glitch and cleared the codes. Clearly Honda needs to recall the 2023 accord because this isn’t safe and clearing the code isn’t taking care of the problem. Furthermore charging me for diagnosing this is completely wrong knowing this is not a problem only I am having. Honda needs a recall before there are serious accidents.

- #11730415April 10, 2026AIR BAGS
Head-on frontal collision occurred while my vehicle was stopped at a stop sign in a parking plaza. Another vehicle turned left and struck the front of my vehicle. The airbags did not deploy despite significant front-end damage and the vehicle being declared a total loss. The vehicle is currently available for inspection at my residence and is scheduled for insurer pickup. Police responded to the scene. The airbag non-deployment raised safety concerns due to the severity of the frontal impact.

- #11730306April 10, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I was going on the highway at around 65-70 mph and the road was clear. The Honda Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB/Collision Mitigation Braking System) activated and I couldn’t do anything, the brake was sudden and my speed decreased to almost 30mph. There were no cars behind me or it would have definitely been a fatal rear-end crash. The road was clear, there were no cars/object ahead of me on the road.

- #11730158April 9, 2026ENGINE, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while at the stop sign to access the feeder road, while accelerating, the lights started flashing on the instrument cluster. The vehicle failed to accelerate above 5 MPH. The driver turned on the hazard lights, made a U-turn, and pulled over a block away at a stadium. The vehicle was turned off. The contact retrieved DTC: P0301, P0302, P0304, and P0300. A code reader was used to erase the codes. The vehicle was restarted and driven as designed. While the contact’s wife was driving, the vehicle failed to exceed 5 MPH. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a routine recall repair on the fuel pump and software. The dealer informed the contact that the failure was not related to a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.

- #11730221April 9, 2026ENGINE, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
In 2018 Honda Accord with the 1.5-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine that had a head gasket fail at 110k miles which has been diagnosed and confirmed by local Honda dealer with misfire codes/counts on cylinder 1 due to coolant leaking inside cylinder 1 and 2 due to this bad head gasket. Due to the bad head gasket and coolant leaking into cylinders, this caused the fuel injectors to clog and fail. Creating rough idling and poor engine performance, which could cause car to stall at any point, creating a safety concern for those in the car if stalled/stuck on public roads. Additional discovery information found here of Honda America acknowledging the defect and encouraging dealerships to report this issue with incentives. I was traveling to Kentucky from NYC in December 2025 and while in Pennsylvania a sign on my dash stated your safety equipment was out because of a build up on the front lens outside of the car and it stated to stop and clean it off, so I pulled off to the side of the highway and stopped my car and when I stiffed it into park there was a griming noise from the transmission. When I went into the dealership for my next oil change I reported it and they didn't even want to note this down on my service report. They said it happened to long ago and they didn't care about the problem, I just wanted them to know for future use. Also another issue happened a couple of months prior while stopped on the highway near my home because of traffic, my car shifted from drive into park by itself without the shifter moving I don't know what happened but I moved the shifter from drive to park and moved it back to drive. And again I reported this and they didn't want to even note on my service report . Not happy about this situation either. Then I received a text message from the dealership that they wanted to buy my car against a trade in and I said to myself if they refuse to record my problems I 'll take my business somewhere else.

- #11730067April 8, 2026STEERING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
My 2019 accord gets stiff at speeds over 25-30mph and resists driver input, so much that you tend to over-compensate and make constant steering corrections every second so you don't crash. The car does not track straight at any speed, and does the same when the Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) is off or on. When LKA is active the car will not go straight on a straight smooth road. The car wanders dangerously from the right to left line markers and often rides on the markers bringing you very close to other cars and then jerks the car back to the opposite side of the lane and continues to do the same back and forth like a drunk person is driving the car. Also the Driver Input Required amber light comes frequently on a straight road with highly visible lane markers. It is extremely tiresome to drive the car and try to keep it in its lane, even when I disable all the "driver-assistance" features. This is because the steering has a mind of its own and stiffens up. It resists the slightest driver input so you have to put more strength into it to make it go where you want to, but once the steering gives up fighting you and lets you do it, it results in overcompensating and constant steering corrections by the drive left-right, left-right, just going down in a straight smooth freshly paved road. It’s been over a year and the dealer has yet to detect anything wrong, they tell me my vehicle drives perfect, honda dealer after dealer.

The USB port in the center console of my 2022 Honda Accord (VIN: [XXX] ) is physically loose and wobbly, causing intermittent disconnection of Apple CarPlay. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. When CarPlay disconnects while driving, I lose access to my navigation (GPS), requiring me to manually interact with my phone or the infotainment screen to restore the connection. This creates a significant distracted driving hazard. The disconnection occurs unpredictably with minor road vibrations or bumps, meaning it frequently happens at highway speeds. Not yet. The vehicle has not yet been brought in for this specific issue. The problem is consistently reproducible — any slight movement of the USB cable causes disconnection. This is a known and widely reported issue No. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by any of these parties regarding this specific defect. No warning lamps illuminate. The only symptom is the CarPlay interface disconnecting on the screen when the vehicle hits a bump or the cable is slightly moved, indicating the USB port itself is physically loose and failing to maintain a stable connection. The issue began and has persisted since I first noticed it. No prior warning was given before the port became loose. The USB port used for wired Apple CarPlay is physically loose and wobbly, causing the connection to drop with the slightest vibration or road bump. I have tried multiple cables and positions without improvement. Losing CarPlay while driving means losing active navigation, forcing dangerous driver distraction to reconnect. This is a known defect reported by numerous 2021 Accord owners. I am requesting this be investigated for a potential recall or technical service bulletin. On second week of February, 2026, I was driving my 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid from Elkridge, Maryland to North Beach, the car lost power with a flickering Check Engine Light on. I managed to drive between 25-30 MPH on 55 MPH Highway to my local Honda dealership. The diagnosed the lost power to HEAD GASKET failure. I did some research and found that NHTSA has issued a part collection on Head Gasket Failure on 2018-2022 Honda Accord Hybrid. The NHTSA ID: MC-11009200. I paid over $5,000 to replace the Head Gasket. I think these model years should be recalled.
