See attached document for complaint. On January 6th, I wrote to you expressing my concerns about Ford’s failure to address a known safety recall (Safety Recall Notice #25S82/NHTSA Recall 25V512) for my 2023 Ford F-150. To date, I have received no response to my initial inquiry which prompts me to send this second letter. In fact, I am writing this letter as I sit in my local Ford dealership for routine maintenance service. At check-in today, I again requested that they determine if my vehicle was in need of the repair specified in the safety recall. Again, I was told “sorry, but Ford is not sending us the necessary parts, so there is nothing we can do at this point”. They said that I should periodically check back with them. I reminded them that I was put on a waiting list for these parts. I have included a copy of my original letter to Ford, so I will not repeat all my concerns. I believe it is important to fully document the facts and my repeated attempts to resolve this matter so that there will be a clear trail of evidence should this unaddressed and known safety recall ever create subsequent safety issues for me or my family. How a company with the size and reputation of Ford can issue a safety recall and then not provide the means to correct a known safety problem is unfathomable. The safety recall notice clearly states that the vehicle “...may roll in park without the parking brake applied, or, alternatively, lose motive power, both of which can increase the risk of a crash”. It then goes on to state that “parts are now available to repair your vehicle”. Frankly, I do not know if parts are in fact available, but my dealership has made it clear that they are not getting these parts. It has now been three months since I first attempted to remedy this matter. For Ford to effectively ignore this known safety issue seems to me to create a serious potential for liability. However, I will leave that to legal counsel should this ever result in injury or accident to my family. Also, I called the Ford Recall Ass

See attached document for complaint. The safety recall repair has been pending for over five months due to repeated parts unavailability at the authorized Ford dealership. Despite ongoing communication with the dealer and Ford Motor Company, no repair timeline or resolution has been provided. This prolonged delay involves a safety-related defect and creates an ongoing risk. I respectfully request that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) review Ford Motor Company’s handling of this recall and its compliance with federal recall obligations.

The passenger side day time running light is dimmed drastically and almost not visible anymore on the upright section. After doing research , this seems to be a very common issue and not a cheap repair. Some states day time running lights are mandatory to work to pass inspection. Ford has not acknowledged this issue and/or making profit from changing out the whole headlight assembly to fix. It seems like it is a bad design or low quality product for a supposed safety issue.

While I was driving, my instrument panel went dark, as if it were turned off. I could no longer see my odometer. Turning the car off and on did not resolve the issue. After the car was off for a half hour or so, the problem was no longer happening. Problem occurred on March 10, 2026. Only happened once so far. Will be taking to dealer for analysis.

See attached document for complaint. I write this letter to you requesting your assistance regarding Ford Motor Co. recall 23S65 / NHTSA Recall 23V896. I received an initial recall notice in May, 2025. For your convenience, I am including a copy for your quick reference. In addition, I have received a subsequent recall reminder from Ford Motor Co. in November, 2025 noting that I have not addressed the safety recall repairs as of yet. I was urged to seek necessary repairs from my local Ford Dealer as soon as possible. A copy of this letter is also included for your reference and records. Please be advised that I have been in contact with my local Ford Dealer located in Montrose, CO on numerous occasions in an attempt to have there service department make the necessary repairs to my 2022 Ford F-150, most recently on January 2, 2026. I have been instructed that parts are still not available for them to fix the recall on my truck. It has been (8) months ago that I received an initial recall notice from Ford Motor Co. A few weeks ago I called the Ford Recall Assistance Center at 1-866-436-7332 in hopes of getting a resolution and timeline for a repair work to be completed on my Ford F-150. Unfortunately, this too was simply a waste of my time and energy as nothing was done to complete the necessary recall work to my vehicle. This has been extremely frustrating. I recognize there are safety issues that make it dangerous to drive my Ford-150 without the necessary recall repair work being completed. My wife and I rely solely on our F-150 for transportation as we are a single vehicle family and we are concerned about a potential future accident or vehicle breakdown. It is difficult for me to comprehend how Ford Motor Company can be so negligent and incompetent in getting this recall notice addressed in a timely fashion. In my opinion, Ford Motor Co.’s inaction in dealing with my F-150 recall is nothing short of being totally unacceptable. Thank you in advance for your consideration and assistance in this matter. If y

I am reporting a serious safety issue with my 2021 Ford F-150. This truck has already been subject to multiple recalls, yet the problems have continued. On several occasions while driving, the truck has suddenly shut off without warning, causing a complete loss of power while the vehicle is in motion. This has happened while my family and I were in the vehicle and has nearly resulted in a serious crash. Losing power in traffic without warning creates an extremely dangerous situation and has put my family’s lives at risk. A vehicle shutting off while being driven is a major safety hazard. Despite multiple visits for service and ongoing recall issues, the problem has not been resolved, and the truck continues to fail in a way that could easily lead to a catastrophic accident.

I received an "important safety recall" notice 25S82 from Ford motor company in August, 2025. The notice from Ford states that replacement parts are available and to schedule an appointment with a local Ford dealership to replace necessary parts and address the safety recall concerns. Since August of 2025, I have contacted my dealership several times and they continue to indicate that parts are still not available from Ford to address the safety recall / concerns. I called the number on Ford's recall notice again today and they either don't answer or immediately hang up on customers like me when the call does go through to speak to an agent. Nine (9) months have passed now and neither Ford nor their dealership network has done anything to address the manufacture defects / safety concerns associated with my vehicle. My dealership has indicated there is a nation-wide back order on the replacement parts but that conflicts with Ford's written communication to consumers and it's no excuse for inaction that could put public safety further at risk. Please take necessary actions to increase Ford's focus on and resolution to this persistent risk. Thank you.

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the unresolved rear axle recall on my Ford F150. Although a temporary repair was performed last year, I remain deeply worried about the safety of my vehicle and, more importantly, the safety of my family. I have contacted my local Ford dealership multiple times to address this recall, but each time I am informed that there are no parts available for the necessary repairs. Given that this recall has been outstanding for some time, I am troubled by the apparent lack of urgency from Ford to resolve this critical safety issue. To add to my concern, the axle bolt has already broken once, which poses a significant risk while driving. I urge the NHTSA to intervene and provide assistance in expediting the resolution of this recall. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate any help you can provide. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Excessively hard transmission gear changes int eh 2, 3, 4 gear range. Happens in cold weather. Happens when accelerating and when down shifting. Gear shift is so violent it rattles the vehicle. Vehicle still operational, but long lime viability is not good. Feels like changing gears in a standard transmission but without using the clutch.

When I am parking the truck, I press and hold the brake pedal, While the truck shifter in in "Drive", I press the start/stop button to shut truck down, the shifter gets stuck in "drive" and doesn't automatically shift in to park. The truck locks down and will NOT operate as the shifter locks in "drive" and won't shift. This happened to me while travelling and was stuck in middle of no where for hours. Here are some troubleshooting tips from various Reddit posts... Immediate Troubleshooting Steps Battery Disconnect: Disconnect both 12V battery terminals (including the small one, if equipped) for 5-10 minutes to reset the system. Manual Park Release: Locate the manual release lever (often under a small cover near the shifter or under the steering wheel) to force it into Park. Restart Sequence: Turn the truck off, wait 1-2 minutes, and attempt to restart. Check Battery Voltage: A weak battery (under ) can cause shifter interlock issues.

- #11722885March 9, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, STEERING, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
While driving my 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor, the vehicle suddenly lost throttle response. The accelerator pedal produced no response and the engine would not rev even though the vehicle remained powered on. A battery warning light briefly illuminated at the time of the incident. I was able to bring the vehicle to a stop, but during the event the steering wheel became locked or extremely stiff and the vehicle did not respond normally to inputs. After stopping, I placed the truck in park and was unable to shift the transmission back out of park. The vehicle appeared to remain powered on but multiple systems were not responding. After pressing the start/stop button and cycling the vehicle, the issue cleared and the truck began operating normally again. Prior to this incident, the vehicle had already been scheduled to go to the dealership because it had been displaying numerous warning lights and diagnostic codes across multiple systems, totaling approximately 30 alerts. The vehicle was taken to a Ford dealership for diagnosis. The dealership reported codes indicating a network communication issue between vehicle modules but stated they were unable to reproduce the failure and no repair was performed. The dealership has requested that I take possession of the vehicle despite the unresolved cause of this failure. Given the loss of throttle response and steering function while the vehicle was in motion, I currently feel the vehicle is unsafe to operate until the underlying issue is identified and corrected. A sudden loss of throttle response and steering control while the vehicle is in motion creates a significant risk of collision, particularly in traffic or at highway speeds. The fact that the failure temporarily cleared after cycling the vehicle suggests a potential intermittent electronic or communication failure affecting critical vehicle control systems.
