While I was driving 65 mph I changed lanes and pressed the gas pedal to accelerate when the vehicle suddenly lost power and shifted to neutral. The check engine light came on. I was able to move the vehicle off the road avoiding an accident and turned the vehicle off for a few moments. I then restarted the vehicle and exited the highway at the next exit. The error code was checked with the check engine light on and it was P068A. The car was parked for the evening and the next day the check engine light was no longer on the dashboard upon restart. Scheduling the vehicle to be checked for issues.

Sunroof molding roof drip rail. Ford part #LJ6Z5450036A. This part is held on with double stick tape. When it comes loose, it can interfere with the proper operation of the sunroof sunshade or fall into the passenger compartment. Mine has been replaced several times under warranty. Even though it was nearly detached, it did not fall. However, if it had, it has the potential of either damaging the sunshade or creating a driver distraction while driving.

1 Brakes are making noise all times when in slow motion the brake paddle depressed ether is moving forward or reversing the repairs did not fix the problem. 1. Left Taillight show the when the vehicle is expose to water from rain or washed, evaporation and condensation will occur creating a film of running down inside of the assembled taillight and will last for days sometimes. That also cause the dimming of the light from the brakes and from turning light. As driver I am concerned that the dimming of the light can become a safety issue when in transit for diminishing of visibility for other drivers behind of this vehicle.

Sun roof spontaneously combusted outward. I brought the vehicle to the Dwight, IL Ford Dealership where I purchased it from. The service department there said that they had never seen anything like this before, and that the sun roof combusted upwards away from the car. Had I not had the cloth screen closed beneath the sunroof, the glass would have came back down on my child and I.

While accelerating the Vehicle I felt a massive kickback via the gas pedal, I was able to drive for half a mile more before the vehicle would no longer accelerate at all. The gas pedal was no working. The engine was overheating and a new warning popped up, upon the kickback with a wrench, and engine warning, along with a coolant over temp warning among others and service engine soon. The vehicle had just had an oil change not even a full month prior. My safety was put as risk as I could not accelerate in the middle of a high way and it just stopped out of no where. I saw another Escape 5 minutes later, stopped in the middle of a busy intersection with the same issue. No this problem was not confirmed, but we saw another vehicle with the same issue. No inspection, although my boyfriend is a mechanic and noticed the coolant was just below the minimum line. There were no warnings prior to failure.

I am the owner of a 2022 Ford Escape experiencing a serious issues: My vehicle is subject to NHTSA Recall 25V467 / Ford Recall 25S76, concerning the potential for a cracked fuel injector leading to fuel accumulation on top of the engine—a serious fire hazard. According to NHTSA, there is currently no remedy available. This adds another layer of safety concern, particularly considering the compounding risks and Ford’s delay in delivering a fix a pending recall involving potential engine fires, I am deeply concerned about the safety and reliability of my vehicle. I am asking that my concerns be formally investigated and that Ford take appropriate responsibility for repairs, reimbursement (if applicable), or an expanded VIN inclusion under the CSP.
