Vehicle was parked in driveway and put into park. After getting out of vehicle and walking into house we noticed the car started to roll forward and by the time we could react the car was picking up speed and rolled into a tree at the end of our driveway. A few days prior while driving 40 mph near our house the car inadvertently went into neutral without notice and without switching the gear shifter and we had to put the shifter back into drive while moving.

- #11672794July 11, 2025AIR BAGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
On June 13, 2025 my 2022 Ford Bronco and was involved in a serious collision in which the airbags did not deploy, the emergency braking and forward collision warning did not activate either. The second vehicle was t-boned at an estimated speed at the point of impact was 45mph. Both vehicles were a total loss. The Bronco suffered a bent frame and the passenger door would not open. The repair estimate was in excess of $36,000. I have reported the concern to Ford Motor Company under case number CXH-04933824-C1C3G9. At the time of the accident, there were no open recalls, warnings or notifications affecting the airbags or other safety systems. The vehicle was as-delivered by Ford from the factory with all regular service conducted by the local Ford dealership.

- #11672361July 9, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, SUSPENSION
The vehicle currently has three active recalls with each not having a remedy as of to date although one I was notified of 7 months ago. I have already had to have a faulty fuel pump repair within the first month or so of onset of purchase where vehicle just lost power and died on side of the road and had to be towed. Then had to fight the dealership and write complaint to Ford after having defective camshaft which took multiple attempts and documentation for FORD and the dealership to repair properly. Vehicle would shift between 2wd/4wd/AWD randomly while driving. Then I had been notified about a windshield wiper motor recall that just dropped of out the system before attempting repair. So never had that update ran or problem addressed. Now I have three other major safety recalls. Definitely a LEMON. Need Ford to stand behind their vehicle. I pay way too much not be safe. None of these failure or problems provided any prior warming indicators.

I was driving on the back of my property and a loud pop and clanking sound occurred right where the rear shocks are ; also there was/is a thin oil film all around the area where the shocks are . FORD is not fixing this problem is why I'm filing this report . I've also tried reaching out to Ford a few times with no success. THIS has been a problem for four years with Ford and no one has held Ford accountable. Lawsuits it seems are the only method that works I hope NHSTA proves me wrong. Sincerely [XXX] , thank you NHTSA INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Subject: Unresolved Safety Recall – Ford Bronco To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an outstanding safety recall on my Ford Bronco. I received a recall notification letter from the manufacturer in January of this year concerning a critical safety issue. However, as of today’s date, the issue has not been resolved, nor have I received a clear timeline for repair. When I first purchased the vehicle, I noticed a pronounced bouncing sensation while driving at speeds around 70 mph. I brought this to the attention of the dealership, but they assured me that the vehicle was functioning normally and that there was nothing wrong. However, the existence of this unresolved recall has made me question whether the issue I experienced is truly unrelated—or if it was early evidence of a deeper safety concern. I feel unsafe driving the car, and no receiving any information about when the necessary parts or services will be available. This delay in action leaves my vehicle potentially unsafe and creates significant inconvenience, as I rely on it for daily transportation. I urge the NHTSA to investigate the prolonged delay in remedying this recall. Consumers deserve prompt and transparent resolution when their safety is at risk. Please advise on any further steps I should take to escalate this issue and keep me informed of any actions that may be taken. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Ford has an SSM-53981 recommended fix for window rattle issue. My front windows have rattled since day one (received Bronco 11/2021). Many people on the forums complain about this issue. I originally brought the truck in within the 1st year of ownership, dealer attempted adjustments (only fix at that time) but it did not fix the problem. Now I'm at just under 90k miles and well out of warranty and Ford finally has a fix. The fix would cost upwards of $800 in parts alone. And I will state that the window rattle is loud and sounds like the window is about to shatter.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V025000 (Suspension); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 -75 MPH, the vehicle was driven over a bump in the roadway, the vehicle started bouncing abnormally and failed to remain in the intended lane. The contact continued driving the vehicle and the failure was self-corrected. There were no warning lights. The contact stated that while driving over bumps or uneven pavement, the vehicle was bouncy and unstable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the rear shock absorbers were leaking fluid and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact spoke with another dealer, Jack Demmer Ford (37300 Michigan Ave, Wayne, MI 48184); and it was confirmed that parts were not available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

While vehicle was on a boat ramp the vehicle”s gear shift was put into the park position. The vehicle’s park gear failed to engage and it continued to roll backwards. Additional attempts to then put the vehicle into drive also failed to respond. My brand new 2024 Ford Bronco that only had just over 2300 miles on it, continued to roll backwards until it was completely submerged underwater. The vehicle had to be pulled out of the water by another truck!!! With my wife and children watching I was fortunate enough to escape without drowning!!!!

My Bronco died and would not restart. Beach Ford diagnosed it as a fuel pump replacement. Luckily, I was in a car wash drive approach lane when this occurred. I was not on any roadway when the Bronco stalled. The Engine light appeared on the instrument panel.

- #11669268June 25, 2025BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
I had the cross-traffic sensor and blind spot detection sensors changed about a year after I bought my Bronco and the tech told me where the wires are housed it is wide open to the elements which cause the wires to fail. This was fixed under warranty and now 2 years later I have the same issue, and Ford will not fix since I am out of warranty. This is not only a design flaw but also a safety issue for someone who relies on those sensors to work.
