• "Do not use or sell replacement equipment/parts subject to a Delivery Stop."

Dealers are advised to check their inventory promptly, as of May 29, 2025, for affected vehicles listed in Inventory Campaign Details (ICD) under ROSS.

Repair Procedure Summary

The correction involves updating the vehicle's software. The preferred method is a Remote Software Upgrade (RSU). If RSU is not feasible or the vehicle's current software level (I-level) is lower than 07/2025.36, then the software must be updated via ISTA programming.

For ISTA programming, technicians must:

1. Connect a battery charger to the vehicle.
2. Connect the vehicle to ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application).
3. Determine the measures plan.
4. Work through the entire measures plan to program and encode all necessary control units.
5. Follow the rework list and perform a vehicle test, deleting any fault memory if required.

Required Software / I-Level

The required I-level for the software update is S18A-25-03-565 or higher. This I-level is supported by ISTA 4.53.4x SDP and was planned for release in early June 2025. ISTA 4.51.1x with an installed service data package is necessary for the programming and encoding process.
