Repair Procedure Summary

1. For the Sunroof Glass Panel:

   • Once fully closed, pull the sunroof switch fully downward, past both detents, and hold it in this position (as shown in Figure 1 of the TSB).
   • After approximately 6-7 seconds, the sunroof panel will begin to move rearward to its stop, then fully forward until it is completely closed.
   • Crucially, do not release the switch until this entire sequence is finished. Releasing it early will cause the process to fail, and it must be restarted from a fully closed position.

2. For the Sunroof Shade:

   • Ensure the sunroof shade is fully closed. Similar to the sunroof panel, if the one-touch function is inactive, you may need to hold the switch to close it.
   • With the shade fully closed, push the sunroof shade switch fully forward, past both detents, and hold it in this position (as shown in Figure 2 of the TSB).
   • After approximately 6-7 seconds, the sunroof shade will begin to move rearward to its stop, then fully forward until it is completely closed.
   • Again, do not release the switch until this entire sequence is finished. Premature release will cause the process to fail, and it must be restarted from a fully closed position.
